I really don't think saying one word is going to be the right thing to say. One of Lime's hints is "Why would saying Dragon Slayer make me want to give you 1 mil?" I'd assume these are similar.

Does it have anything to do with the way certain items are pointing?

I experience this a lot...with everything. When a KQ gives me trouble, something good usually comes my way. I almost got KO'ed by an Abby Demon (sad I know) and then he dropped a whip. I just think its cruel irony though.

I've offered a "restaurant" before while letting people use my altar. Just something to do to pass the time if I don't have anything else to do.

thats an achievment, making a new character and having a very trusted friend hand it(you) a rare item such as santa or phat is not an accomplishment. Well bunny ears arent tradeable, so I think thats a little different.

I don't think its TOO big of a deal. It might be a LITTLE too easy in my opinion, but its even easier to get the max level in other games.

If I wasn't 85 slayer right now, I'd still be going for it. A) Its a great accomplishment B) You CAN get like 3 whips in an hour, even if the USUAL drop rate is only like 1 every 15 hours. C) Its still good combat exp up there, so why not train on a monster that could make you tons of cash? D) Guthaning at Abbys is one of the only places in the game where you can get decent cash, good combat exp, and not have to pay any attention. :D

When I heard it had a strength bonus, I nearly wet myself. It owns, but it could have owned that much harder. =P~ Only nearly? :oops:

Actually, I'm pretty sure a similar thing would still happen. Sure, everyone would stockpile them, but then one has to think of the two different types of investors. Long term and short term. The long term investors will do everything they can to get as many of the rare as possible. This includes buying them up from other short term investors. Then, a price war starts between the long term investors which gets the price rise started. Then, it just goes out of control from there. People who invest hundreds of millions on the new rare end up getting banned, then poof...a bunch of that item is now gone. More events like this happen, and the object increases in rarity. Etc, etc... I do, however, think that most of the RS population would be long term investors and hold onto their items. However, if a noob gets offered 50-100k on his item he only had for like a week, I'm pretty sure he'd sell. I'd think that once the item reached in the couple mil range, the majority of RS would sell off their items. Then all of the insanely rich buy those, merchant them, and now santas are 20m+....errrr...no, this isnt what happened with santa hats.... :-w

You guys are insane...youre basically saying "Okay, new update! I want to be completely sick of it before the next one comes" You have to keep in mind, not everyone loves every update. I myself despise the new Hunter skill, so I did that for about...1 day. They need to pump out a large number of updates and a large variety of them aswell. This ensures more memberships and more people that continue to be members.

OMG ya i kno d00d i was liek "Hey! We got tons of great new items today!! Boy I can't wait to lo...wait...whats this? The login page looks boring? OH NOES!" Come on...the different login page was the LAST thing on my mind today. :|

Wow great job. That was so necessary to do, because none of us have acess to the Runescape page. @jessy, it doesn't look like theres too many different items needed, so if youre only doing level 3s, you just need to set aside like 10 more bank slots.
