Did you post the starting opts twice or did you really not lose anyone? Gratz either way And why are you all spamming this thread with nonsense about having a team ready to war them, not only is that team obviously non-existant but this isn't the place to discuss that anyway.

Thanks, will come in handy next time I have to high alch :D Don't see how it could possibly be macroing. You're pressing one button to generate one click. Same as when you actually click the mouse. The computer isn't doing any clicking for you, you're just pressing down a different thing than normal to generate a mouseclick.

Don't know why but when I took the / after .htm out, it worked. Edit: Oh you said to pm  oh well

It's due east of the nature altar, but you'll need some agility to cross over the river and I think you need to have started the Grand Tree quest to go into the shipyard as well. Other than that just stroll on in through the gate

Yes, it's from the way you used to be able to change text colors in-game in RSC. @ran@ is the only one that doesn't work in fact  But what does that have to do with the topic? Anyway I guess I was kind of...disappointed when I went to log in today. The screen is boring enough on its own since the vibrant hunting-themed one is gone it seems even worse -.-

Wow I can't believe no one else has remembered this yet. A long time ago when Jagex used to do the "letters to the gods", one of them gave an explanation as to how the ring works. After a bit of searching I found it: Here's the page on RS.com, scroll all the way to the bottom. My interpretation is that the first "roulette" only determines the likelyhood of getting any rare item, and this is unaffected by the ring of wealth. The second "roulette", however, which still has varying levels of drops, is altered so that "rare" drops will be slightly more common. How that really works is that when a monster is killed, a random number is generated which dictates the percentages of drops for that one kill. Then, a number is randomly selected from the second list. The ring of wealth must add a few extra numbers for the "rare" drops, so they are more likely to be dropped.

I've heard the only people who were rebanned were macroers and scammers; Andrew himself supposedly said that these two types of offenders were not meant to be a part of the "last chance appeal" process in the first place and this was a bug in the system. I also heard those people who were quickly rebanned will be getting a refund if they bought p2p after being unbanned. I'm sorry I don't have pics, but if it's the truth we will all find out soon enough. By the way, the picture shows that the guy broke rule 7, macroing - so if my information is correct he should have been rebanned anyway.

Bandits, without a doubt. They're better exp anyway, plus you can't get PKed.

Well you have to consider that they are responsible for your clan. They dedicate their time and energy towards making your clan experience better. You should respect them as people for that reason alone at least. There has to be orders anyway, dozens of people running around doing their own thing is not going to work. I'm High Council of my clan so I'm the one giving the orders :P I suppose I only have to listen to the leaders, technically, but I still keep an ear open to everyone else as well.

People do that all the time with Runehead...there will be 30 level 126's on a list then one level 72, the guy who made the list. I guess it makes them feel good or something.

That's the story I've heard and accepted as well. Technically WG may still be alive but their reputation's gone and anywhere from a third to over half of their members are as well...the damage is irreparable in my opinion. I know quite a few people who quit WG because of this, they basically consider WG to be gone.

Wow, severely outnumbered and you get the win while barely losing anyone, great job! Proves that Tip.it > RuneHQ  (That was a joke for those who may be offended. Still true though.)

A rl friend kept telling me about this online game called Runescape...I ignored him for a while then finally figured I'd just give it a try, since I thought I'd probably quit playing in a day anyway. That was 3 and a half years ago.
-
I play it with the official client. It is illegal to discuss anything pertaining to option #3 here so I suggest you remove it

These days I pretty much only do things with my clan, train combat, and just fool around at CW/fight pits/etc.

Carpal-Tunnel-B-Gone! Use Your Keyboard To High Alchy &
elit9 replied to put_2_death's topic in Help and Advice
Actually, with a laptop it is very possible and in fact easier than doing all that with a PC. With most laptops (or mine at least lol), you get this sort of deal to control the cursor, which is below the keyboard. So all you do is position the cursor on the item then keep hitting the left click button, and voila! By the way, nice saying in your sig  -
I kind of wish I put more time and thought into my name to be honest. I just made it quickly so I could quickly try out some game my friend had be nagging at me about. Or so I thought, since that was three years ago  Happens to me all the time on my pure, Soul of Sol. :XD:

What's the craziest deal you've ever made in a sale?
elit9 replied to Benoit4whc's topic in General Discussion
I bought rune essences for 50-75 each, then traded 4k to a guy for a green mask (this was over 2 years ago). I then sold the mask for 400k :| -
For me it has to be when I was killed by those scorpions in the Al-Kharid mining pit when I first started playing. I lost the full iron my friend gave me

The d2h is +92 slash +80 crush +93 str Dharoks axe is +103 slash +95 crush +105 str From the Knowledge Base on RS.com :)
-
 How long has it been like this? I've never noticed this before myself or seen anyone else mention this, ever. I guess I should read a bit more in RS  but then again that would be pretty ironic, "reading" a book in a game when I would be infinitely better off reading and enlightening myself in real life. Ah well.

survey: Best item you ever saw in a general store
elit9 replied to ikraz66's topic in General Discussion
I've never had any luck with finding valuable stuff in a general store. The best I've ever seen there probably would be some uncut gems or something, nothing too amazing really. -
Only the dagannoth kings drop "dagannath bones". Would be even easier than it already is to level prayer if all dags dropped them I'm afraid :?

Melzar's maze is northwest of Rimmington and directly south of the Crafters' Guild. It's labeled on the world map on rs.com, and no they haven't moved it, it has been there for as long as I can remember.

Sell the baxe and laws, and offer 2.6m cash for the whip. Someone will sell you a whip for that.
