[TLOL] The BlacKnights defeat True 0wnage
GF T0, I was number 30 for BK but got there 10 seconds late, we out levelled you by quite a bit and the person advantage from the start made it easier still for us but ty for the fight all the same. You had quite a few lower levels with impressive defence though  Gratz BK, the people who fought did what they had to do to get the win so gj.

Biggest Rival In Twr History
uh oh, let's not have this thread turn into flam baits between old tk, DF and DV members, that would be sad :( as for the biggest rivalry in TWR history I guess it depends when TWR started, back in 2004 and 2005 there were several massive rivalries on these boards (if you look at the earliest pages on clan discussion you find some pretty interesting threads from 04/05/06. The BK v Gladz rivalry happened on tipit for instance. And The alliance v Corr and Exer, while it wasn't really a rivalry there was beef back in the day  But in recent times it does seem that the two clans mentioned here are having a go at each other whenever possible, I personally enjoy rivalries and think they should be encouraged up to a point. They can actually attract people to clans (for instance all the members that VR have gained since becoming the under dog in their rivalry with DF, EoS and Corr + whoever else they can wind up enough) and be fun for the members involved. I think having a big war or a series of big wars to settle beef is often pretty fun, that's the way they used to deal with it (The BK v Gladz official war in 2005 that was the high point of the BK v Gladz rivalry is still the biggest war between single clans)

[TLoL] BK v KO
Was a good fight, caught us a bit off guard with the first pile lol, they came straight to our portal and piled us but nothing wrong with it  I had 0 kills from what i saw and 0 deaths, I had a lot of fun binding the entire fight and I got piled twice but dragged them off me both times which wasn't too tough against 20+ people. KO had quality levels, I think I only saw two people who were below level 118 so they out levelled us but yeah our large number advantage pulled us through comfortably in the end.

Collision Ends Solace Before 90 Min Cap

EH's "Final chapter"
I'd rather go down trying than sitting in a slump with no wars for 12034812098ages. quoted for truth Hmmm... You could argue that they all gave up and PKM, along with alot of other clans that aren't as strong as they were, are the ones that are trying to either come out of their slump or just to enjoy themselves and don't necessarily mind how they are right now, that's the way I would look at it myself. I am not lolling that PKM outlived anyone though

Poison vs Gladz
very nice job Poison, in terms of organisation Gladz are good and yet you beat them convincingly

What Clan Will Be Next To Die?
They won't accept our fights. And we don't crash. I know how you feel :wall: I predicted it would be unexpected with no warning signs and another instance of a clan closing despite no real slump. I have to say EH was unexpected, there were no warning signs and they weren't in a slump  It's still a shame though

EH's "Final chapter"
I doubt the clan world will turn into 4 or 5 super clans, there is alot of life in mid sized clans still, the probem is that the people in the big clans just don't know it because the top 10 distanced themselves from the smaller clans for such a long time. The only reason that consolidation would happen is because people from DI do all go to VR and people from EH do go to TT and RSD. Those members are adding to already powerful clans instead of looking for alternatives. Consolidation is an avoidable situation but at this moment it's looking pretty inevitable because the people who were in clans that did die are simply choosing the easy option and joining other clans that had as much power as theirs already.

EH's "Final chapter"
What a femaleish joke :< I disagree, maybe I am too trusting but if I were leader of a clan I would never close it because I assumed the people next in line couldn't take on the job. I would prefer to see where the clan went whether the clan go down in flames despite all efforts or thrive under new leadership than I would take it away from the members on a power trip (no offence intended to anyone). I wouldn't care how people outside the clan remembered the clan, aslong as I was doing right by the next people in line for the job and the people inside the clan had good memories. BK is an example of a clan that despite losing several influential members all at once in the past has always tried to pull through and has always succeeded, maybe not at the same strength, but certainly well enough to continue the legacy that is BK. The thing about BK is that there is no one person bigger than the clan itself. Maybe that's selfish of me... I think it works both ways kind of. PS. I don't think the 3 big clans that have closed were closed on a power trip as such, I think the leadership that were retiring/quitting RS were the clans identities and to pass the leadership responsibilities on would have effectively been creating a new clan with the same name.
-
EH's "Final chapter"
I have to say though, it is another clan where the leadership has decided the clan can no longer go on rather than a clan that was slumping, they are another clan where the leadership had the power. I always had a bit of a grudge with EH myself because of an incident I had with them one time  but they always seemed nice enough apart from that time and it's a shame to see them close, one of the few clans that have closed that I remember opening.

Vr Fa list got more members then Cor ML
It's so ironic that DI merged with VR lol... The ultimate "honour" clan with an openly NH clan. and yeah I expect that VR have lost no members because they were crashing clans anyway, the clans that are crashing VR probably had members who were against crashing at all and left. I know there were some who were disappointed by it. As far as I am concerned all of the clans will gain members again simply because those who want a clan which is one of the most powerful will realise that it is necessary to be a part of the crashing until it is over... Which probably wont happen for a long long time. The fact that VR have become the single strongest clan in RS through this whole thing is probably a bit disheartening for the anti vr alliance though.

How Easy Do You Want It?
For those that like the game easy there is also the problem that making some things easier makes other things alot more difficult to the point where they maybe aren't possible, as a person who takes part in clan wars regularly the creation of the druidic robes and the rc gloves and rc staves with their higher bonuses for F2P, while making things easier for binders, have made it alot tougher for the people being attacked. Jagex actually removed the 20 minutes of run and the bonuses of agility from F2P which in my mind made warring better as it was one of the things that made F2P easier for P2P people in F2P and that was wrong in my mind. Things like over powering weapons to the point where people are just looking for ko's in P2P have ruined mini games like Castle Wars (I spent nearly all of my time while I was on RS at Castle Wars between Summer 05 to Summer 06) and have made them alot less interesting, it is easier for people to kill people but the effect it has on the minigame is to make it a case of lucky hits as opposed to skill of any sort. The team with the most gs's/d claws and ancients is the team that will probably come out on top. I haven't been to Castle Wars regularly since June 2006 and I have no wish to anymore. But Jagex think they need to update things and to them that seems to mean exaggerating everything with every update. For instance what good is a new rune weapon if you can just get a whip, you have to make something that will excite people and so you have to aim higher and that is where you get the god swords and the dragon weapons with over powered specials. Then you have the GE which has been mentioned, I don't mind the GE (although I miss Luciens) but I don't make use of it at all, all the merchanting that it seems to have encouraged is something that I don't like particularly but then I am not interested in gp so merchanting is something that I can't really imagine doing myself. Problem is you used to have to know how to do things to be good at something in RS, when I was at Castle Wars I got to around 2k tickets using rune, blue dragonhide and a dragon longsword mostly because I knew what i was doing but then it came to the point where knowing how to play the game wasn't enough and having items was everything and I think that is where we are today and I think it is a shame. Things have been made too easy in certain scenario's for sure and that has led to the game being ruined for some people who were here before all the updates and nice new pixels.

What Clan Will Be Next To Die?
I don't think we will see any clans on tipit or RSC die in the near future... The clans that closed recently were pretty shocking and it made people think that the communities were vulnerable and that maybe more would end up giving in and letting go and closing the clans... I don't think clans are having it too bad. Slumps are a part of clan life, if your clan has not had a slump yet then it probably will at some point. I have found from my 3+ years in BK that slumps make clans stronger in the long run, unless a clan isn't established then slumps are not often a reason for a clan to go under. KO is well established and even if they are slumping, I think they have a big enough core of members that even if they are down to the bare bones they will have the ability to bounce back. GK, as a clan that relatively recently reopened, may not have the same thing but we will see. I think they have what it takes to make it through. RoT are actually pretty good in F2P PvP, they have the sniping down and they pull good numbers which are the two main components of PKRI's at the moment, I think the transition will be easy enough for them to make, on the other hand I don't know how interested they will keep their members if they do try to change over... Will be interested to see where they go from here. As for the next clan to die I wouldn't like to speculate but I will say what I have said before... Clans that have one main person as leader or an influential figure that runs the clan are more vulnerable than others, Sarrakas and the long standing leadership of SE closed the clan without anything close to a slump and Ghjjf ofcourse just upped and left RS and didn't want to hand DI to any new leaders (despite not being a founder of the clan). Other clans have closed under similar circumstances aswell, it is becoming a recurring theme from what I have seen and the focus on the clans slumping and clans that have been put in difficult positions may be misplaced. I don't know how clans think of their leaders or the power structures within so I can't specify a clan.

Knights Slay Dragons?...What Proper Rubbish
I right click on every time i'm attacking :S And I'm lvl 126. Not trying to argue just wondering..isn't it better to right click? incase you accidently click on some1 running by/ your own team mate. some times it is better to right click but if I right click to bind and then sometimes I don't have time to right click again (if I splash for instance) and just try to left click the person as all BK are in team capes so unlike for illusion there is no chance that I will left click a BK. But I not binder.

Knights Slay Dragons?...What Proper Rubbish
We pretty much had a horrific start which is weird as we outnumbered you but our tactics were all wrong and you had so many rangers it was just too difficult to tank for most. after we got like 20 people down we managed to keep it even pretty much the rest of the way through the fight despite the numbers evening out. I think we knew that you are currently superior at range allowed fights and it was really good practice and we learnt alot from this. You were just too good onj the day though  Was a very clean fight, I had a horrible day of tanking but like I say it was tough with all the rangers :( I only got 1 hit once while I had food though in 4/5 deaths so ahwell. Your non team capes were really annoying, having all your 120's in them gave you a definite advantage at the start of the fight when our pile choices were a bit dodgy but I guess it is common place now, made it really tough to find the piles for our lower levels so it was a reason we weren't getting kos and a reason that you did pull away as quickly as you did with all of your ko's on all of our people who were wearing team capes. GF in the end though DW! we will try to make it closer next time. Unlucky BK, we have learned though and so this fight has been a success! :D
