The Blacknights V The Abyss Today is the day that the war between BK and TA was arranged for after TA challenged us for the #1 rank on the tipit forums. Here are the ruuuuuuules! \ all styles bk attacks in red capes-team 41 abyss defends in orange / fire cape pools / rings allowed central bounds 4 walls of classic clan wars BK had been really looking forward to our first tipit ranks war and we were looking to get a good turnout and really show what we could do. We expected to be outnumbered and we were. BK starting: 33 TA starting: 39 The fight started with BK getting a quick ko to start and TA's first pile seemed to tank pretty well and straight away we had started to make it even numbers with ko after ko and BK's tanking well. Soon BK took the lead in the fight with good pile transitions and more ko's and really good tanking. Although we were still worried because TA was making a good go of keeping up with us for a while :thumbsup: Fortunately for us TA piled one of BK's best tanks and we began to pull away from TA and our binding really stepped up after we killed the snipers and from about 28 v 19 we felt comfortable that we could bring home the victory and that we did soon after. BK ending: 28 There were some accusations at the end which I hope can be sorted out without too much hassle GF TA and Gratz BK on retaining the number 1 spot! \

it wasn't me! :^o I guess there is the thing that you can war in other places in RS, places like south of Barbarian village or Falador might be good places to have wars although run ins might be a bit of pain because people can return so quick, also there is no place as good as Members gate imo. Then again beggars can't be choosers :( if the worlds are reduced much further then smaller clans might have to find new places to pk and go back to clan wars to war or something, I guess it is all down to what Jagex do :o the downside for bigger clans is if smaller clans decide they need to move there are less people to kill up where the larger clans are so I think too much of a reduction in worlds could prove to be bad for everyone.

It's annoying for clans wanting to war in pvp :( I hope they don't continue to reduce the amount of worlds because even slightly larger clans like BK feel the effects of basically being forced into the top 10 clans.

It is pretty much impossible to be rid of the tag of being "biased", as if you warn someone for flaming or something along those lines then some people are going to hold a grudge and say they didn't deserve it or whatever. I think all you can do on the whole biased thing is keep doing what you are doing, and basically give no ammunition. After a while people will see that the bias on these boards isn't as bad as it sometimes is in other places and views might change. I don't think it is something you can really concentrate on, it is more of a long term goal to get people to stop labelling tipit as biased. What needs to actually be worked on is the amount of people viewing these boards, that will go part of the way to getting you a better reputation aswell and is the main problem with tipit at the moment. saying that it works both ways and like you say you need a reputation before you can get people here. I have no ideas on how you might do it :oops: maybe a sub forum for skilling clans might be an idea (I have never seen one of those on RSC, maybe I have overlooked one because I have always been part of a warring clan) if there isn't one elsewhere that might attract some interest. Although I have no idea what type of weird and wonderful things might go on in there :D

Apologies to Ancient Legion but I have never seen what they are capable of (which is completely down to me being new to these boards and some of the clans that reside here) [Match 3] Full Out: Golden Sun | Matched: Militos Deci. I have heard of both these clans but I don't know either well :oops: I think Militos Deci might have slightly more accomplished tanks but that is more from 1st impression than actual knowledge of either clan. [Match 4] Full Out: | Matched: I know neither of the last clans at all (again I apologise, I'll have a look at some old war topics so I can be a little more knowledgeable next time a topic like this comes around because I am being nooby at the moment) :oops:

I don't think there is anywhere better than the members gate. In capped fights the west rock and the west tree. Turrets isn't terrible but I love having things that I can get people caught around and if you have no energy then that is quite difficult to do in turrets whereas at the members gate the rocks are pretty much perfect for catching people on

What y_guy said but also with the new random drops the possibility that you will get a drop worth a few million is alot higher with the new armours and weapons available. I don't think that helps with 1 itemers either. Saying that I am F2P and therefore have no idea what I am talking about in P2P anymore. In F2P it isn't such a big deal because the drops are generally lower in value than they would have been before the update (as rune/druidic robes are the most expensive things that you get from pks) so 1 iteming is no more of a problem than it used to be. That's just a theory though :oops:

last I remember we censored a couple of racist insults on the forums but generally our members are free to say whatever comes into their heads although that is not to say that they wont be told off for saying it (based on what they say in what context), there are no set rules in BK about what you can or can't say though.

Pretty much what Enzock said. BK have been running into some bigger pking clans (RSD, DF, etc..) but there are plenty of people about to pk if you look hard enough :D

Not really, there is no one who I think "uh oh, I hope we can make up for that person" in BK. I have my opinion about who may be able to tank better than others but I mean I am up for giving everyone a fair chance and if there are people who you think that about then maybe you aren't doing enough to help them learn to tank (not you in particular, I mean in general :D ) Ofcourse newer people wont be as experienced as the older members and people who maybe don't war so much may not have the same ideas about how to tank or whatever but aslong as the person can get their food down them then there shouldn't be a big problem with them being a part of the fight. On the other hand people who refuse to bind/use ts are a bit of a pain and can create problems :oops:

BK has 3 leaders, 7 council, advisors (kind of a long term position, the number grows everytime there is a new one but people are very rarely given that rank), 2 warlords (a part of leadership outside of warring aswell), emeriti (retired leaders) and the cadet leader (junior clan leader) who are all a part of leadership. They chat about ideas and things and generally make the decisions but the leaders have the final say and the ability to over rule things which has pros and cons really. There have been "co leaders" in the past which translates as vice leaders to normal people. We also have had a head warlord rank but I am not sure that is still in use either.

Would be nice to see it from other peoples eyes. Apparently some of Timmy's sources weren't too reliable hehe. I know Orbital2 (BK Advisor) has been about pretty much from the start and I seem to remember he was thinking about writing something. I dunno though. The clan histories from back in the day are really interesting too, Scuba posted BK's which is one of the earliest back up the page (I wrote some of the later parts of it 8-) )

In BK the requirement is a year as an active member of BK to get the elder rank (they have to have met the activity requirement for the year. It has next to no extra powers although we get our own boards and we get halfop in the IRC hehe oh also if you have been in leadership then you get the elder rank
