  1. To expand on what Jordan has said: Like I said earlier, this is an FA program with some differences. BK doesn't target people with prior experience in warring and we never have, we are happy whether or not people have experience as long as they are willing to try. BKC was great as it allowed new people to get used to things and that is what BKI now does for a larger group of newcomers, alot of people felt that the cadets were great apart from the difficulty in gaining new members, with BK FA's also coming through they have slightly bigger wars now with slightly higher levels but they still have the chance to experience some important things before being plunged into a 50 v 50 or whatever BK does in fullouts on the weekends. If the members dry up for any reason then BKI will survive as an FA program so there will not be a new junior clan at any point while BKI is around as that is a part of the larger program. As opposed to going back to the old junior clan or leaving behind something that worked for 5 years completely, we have mixed the junior clan which we liked with the FA program which we liked. BKI has people below BK reqs who train up, their own ml to keep things more tidy and their own wars for practice like BKC had and they are also a way of keeping track of Future Applicants and making sure they are active and happy with things. What's not to like right? :D
  2. Oooh I haven't seen one of these in a while, maybe because I've not been looking but it's always interesting to see these :o gratz DI

  4. Would have to be CR, I don't know if I could deal with the Aussie time zone. 'THE' or Gladz?

  6. Well yes, when people "graduate" (as we call it) BKI loses members, that was why it was such a problem for BKC to not gain enough new members, people were graduating and not being replaced. Hopefully we will have enough FA's to replace the people that graduate. The initiate program is such that it is not completely independent now aswell so if we do run out of FA's then the program may need to take a break from warring but will still be there as an FA program.
  7. It's a shame you had to cut so many people but these small fights can be pretty fun sometimes. Gj though LGZ, convincing  and better luck in the future teh
  8. There is still confusion about exactly what BK Initiates is. It is not a team, all the people in BKI are either Future applicants, former cadets or trials (not including the staff from BK). The initiate rank encompasses these 3 stages. Some say it is a part of BK and as such should not have it's own fights but some people say that it is modelled on how BKC was. BKC became difficult to run with very few new applicants with level 90 - 107 choosing other clans or simply not wanting to be in clans at all. We tried to keep it going but there was a growing feeling in BK leadership that it was not worth it. While for years members of leadership had been against BKC, 1 bad pull was the catalyst behind the end of this 5 year old program. What I understood was that we simply needed more people to be able to continue and so included other Pre BK ranks (FA, trial) in this group and merged the staff from our trial program (mentor program as it was called) with the staff from the Cadet program. Apparently I was wrong. The confusion began with the changes. BKI was created when there were no BKC leaders or emeriti about to help with the changes and negotiate what should be kept and what should be lost. So created in the way BK leadership wanted, BKI was made into an FA program. With the return of BKC leadership members and the confusion around what was a mixture of 2 current programs in BK (unless you counted BKC as a seperate entity which it was to a point) BKI were given the go ahead to create their own wars after some nudging and our first was against MoD and was a great success. Not everyone in BK has been persuaded that wars for BKI are a good idea and I am sure plenty of people will have their own opinions on this but as we have now been placed on the TWR it looks as though BKI wars seperately from BK aswell as in FA allowed fights with BK. I hope that answers any questions or atleast sheds some light on what the answers could possibly be, as someone who is not happy with the changes and how they have been handled this may be a bit of a critical account of how things have gone and I may have been unfair at points but that is a whole other story and is not for public viewing :D suffice to say I am a former leader of the Cadets so I have strong feelings on the matter. I realise that this post is too long to expect alot of people to read, it is just for people who are interested.
  9. updated  Valid point since some people you don't hang out our talk with a lot but you have a good relationship with them I geuss? but nice anti social!@#! jk :P I've been told it's all the biting :( and yeah pretty much, I would chat to alot of people but not necessarily call them friends if you know what I mean. Also I pretty much have contact with RS through BK and as most BK members who leave come back at some point the range of clans I have friends in isn't too wide :D To give you an idea of what I define as a friend I have known the person I put down for like 4 years, they introduced me to BK when I didn't know a thing about clans and I still chat to them alot.
  10. Back in 07 BK had a big official war with TMRD and being a bit un subtle TMRD uploaded a hype video for the war which was not meant for BK eyes and featured references to BK being Burger King and someone eating a burger or something, it was a bit long ago for details. Anywho somehow some BK members find out about it and a couple took offence so we ended up having a running battle of Youtube vids running up to the war (I remember there were 2 BK's who made videos for it on youtube). It got a bit intense really and personal attacks were made, it was all a bit much but it was the type of thing we all look back and laugh about. All the videos were removed by the creators after the war and BK and TMRD were on decent terms afterwards lol. Things like that are over the top, then again I find most flaming is over the top, there is often another way to sort something out. Flaming in videos is next level though, not in terms of offense caused but more in terms of effort.
  11. Yeah they were, but considering our last war we pulled 14 I think its still good. To gen I didn't get piled but still got sniped a lot for being tied for the lowest level there. For sure it's good, I wasn't trying to put you lot down at all, I was just surprised by the epic rise in numbers
  12. Hmmm... It depends how you define friends... This is a bit of a difficult topic to answer :D I'll say DF: 1 and leave it at that
  13. Were retireds allowed? If not that's a very nice pull, I am very jealous of GS right now  a two week prep against Gladz... Looks like you took down a great amount of Gladz members considering the number difference. from 62 v 46 to 54 v 37 means it was nearly equal so very impressive against a clan as with as good a reputation as Gladz  GJ Gladz on the pull and the win and very nice try GS, you made a go of it and you deserve a pat on the back for killing as many as you did =D>
  14. We like to keep our retireds behind closed doors, incase they hurt themselves or do something indecent  also because they're CRAZY! :ohnoes: Also we just use our active list for wars in twr :D we have nearly 200 members with retireds  so they would inflate our member list quite alot.
  15. GF DH, it's a shame the number difference was quite as big as it was :( very nice pull  I dced part way through the fight which really annoyed me, I was looking forward to trying to tank you all :D Unlucky BK, 40+ people is still not bad for a Saturday so despite the loss it was pretty positive, I guess we will have to pull more in the future!
  16. CR I think, I have had more contact with CR in the past in terms of warring than I have with RT, I hear both are very good clans but I see CR about a bit more. Collision or Exodus
  17. ummmm, both BK and Gladz have been alive for roughly 8 years and 7 months, BK was formed a week or two before Gladz I think :D BK was created in late January 2001 although the exact date is forgotten as far as I know.
  18. honestly I don't know what either of those things are but I don't think it will affect the amount of people posting from BK or how much I will be posting, I hope I notice a difference though! Not that there is any problem at the moment :-# EDIT: It sounds exciting :o
  19. Gratz Triforce, despite the Dragonwood dc's it looks like you did a great job  good try Dragonwood, the start of the fight was really close with the clans exchanging the lead
  20. Tko Blitz, I am not sure who Biggie are  and Tko Blitz are a pretty decent team, always difficult to beat. Dragon Hunters or Downfall?
  21. The unshared k's hurt  Blacknights!
  22. congratz mate, seen you about alot and you always come across as fair and as I know you from your time in BK in the past I am sure you are a great choice for the job
  23. Well tipit has some really good teams and clans in F2P matched options, the 2 that come to mind right away are LND and TKO Blitz because we've fought both of them recently, they have alot of experienced fighters and are good enough to give most clans a good fight in matched option fights. In fullouts I would say Downfall are good, they pull alot of people consistently and they have decent organisation to boot. Apart from those clans I haven't fought many others recently with BK but with BKC I fought some others a while back, PKM are good for their size and the levels they have, they have great organisation and were really fun to fight. They are also a very nice clan along with DF. As for CR and KO, I don't really see them fight many clans on here for one reason or another, they are both very good clans, CR have great pulls to fights as do KO, maybe the most of any clans on tipit. I haven't mentioned my clan, BK, because somehow it wouldn't feel right but we have been mentioned by other people :D thanks for that btw Let's not get our knickers in a twist please, it's not really necessary, i am sure BK will meet you somewhere in some sort of fight in the future KO
  24. It was fun DW! Cheers for the fight :D I only got killed the first time with maybe 16 minutes to go and I managed to run out of prayer and food (as I had been sniped  ) and then in the last minute I died twice as I was trying to bind us to 110 kills and ran straight into your main pile in robes  I ate about 6 pizza halves in those 2 deaths :wall: I got 1 kill and 3 deaths
  25. Good to see all the confusion and stuff ended in a really close fight :D Ofcourse I am glad my hot BK's won it sorry I wasn't there!
