  1. Epic study. We've done all about this in psychology, obedience studies and whatnot. The people who went all the way aren't sinister or evil (maybe 1 or 2 =/) but rather they're trusting of the experimentor and believe that he obviously knows more than they do so it would be right to simply obey him. There were variations done and they found that if the study was done outside of a University and with a person not wearing a lab coat, less people went all the way to 450. Some people would have figured it out by the time they got to the higher voltages though. I mean, would you think that an experimentor was really going to harm someone's life? Although you have to consider back then there were no ethical procedures for psychologists and that unlike now where you need informed consent for practically everything. I laugh though that they expected 0.1% to go to the 450 XDXD I also just laughed at the guy 'in pain'.
  2. That's probably a better idea, once you've got the songs you want and know you can get it all working then fork out the money :P You can download full games worth of the DDR official songs from Here Bemanistyle has a load of simfiles. You have to register though to get access but it's where a lot of people upload their files. The FFR simfile database has a lot of simfiles from what I can tell too. I've not really used it much so I don't know the quality of them though =/ It really depends on the uploader. The stepmixes on the Stepmania website have some good songs too but you have to download them in like 3/4 different parts. Some are worth it though and they're all original songs.
  3. Asthma maybe? My mum has it and so do I. Eye problems too. My mum is long sighted, I'm short sighted and my brother is getting his first pair of glasses for being short sighted too. I wouldn't really know on my dad's side since my dad here is my step-dad really. My step-dad though might have cancer, seems to have screwed up his lungs with smoking and has a rare syndrome called Stevens-Johnson syndrome. Even after reading the Wikipedia article it doesn't make much sense to me but it's like 1 in a million people get it  He doesn't have to deal with it on a day-to-day basis but he has to be careful when he gets coldsores and that that it doesn't flare up.
  4. Oh well if you say so. I think it's a great idea really. I doubt it would happen, but it would sure be nice to have a red nose in Runescape. It's nothing like RWT, even if they said 'buy the noses for 100 gp ingame and we'll donate 10p per nose sold to Comic relief'.
  5. It's being really laggy for me atm >.< I think it's a mix between the lag and the normal lag my laptop gets for the first hour or so it's been turned on. I'm gonna do my homework instead of playing. #-o *hates self for even thinking of the posibility of work before Runescape* The updates look pretty sweet though. Can't say much about the quest since I'm not a quester but the running thing will be hawt .
  6. Jagex is a doctor now! Regarding the recent downtime of the Runescape worlds. The rsof is a lulzy place. I just like how he called Jagex a doctor XD I wish paint wouldn't rape the picture quality in Jpeg >.<

Oh, that sounds bad. :/ I find it really nice that you have such a concern for your brother, though. You're seem to care a lot. :) For that, I salute you. =D> Flame pretty much summed it up. Does your brother miss alot of school? Great that you care about him so much. Thanks :) :) I do care about him a lot even if we do argue a bit :P He has missed a lot over the past year. He will stay off for the whimpiest colds and it seems this winter he's just been through all the viruses being passed around. He used to have problems with not going in because he was being bullied by other kids (little kids are stupid for the most part), but will take any excuse not to be in even now. My dad is just... perpetuating the idea 'Oh lol you don't have to go in just because I don't want you to'. He's starting to like going in more now, I just don't want it to go back a few months where we had like... social workers calling up saying he needed to go in, my mum missing work because he refused to go in too. It was a serious mess. Every morning was just a screaming and crying fest. I think me, my mum and grandma in particular are all just wary that if he misses half a day he won't want to go in the next day and then its just a chain reaction from there. My dad was at work though when all that was happening, he didn't have to deal with his screaming and everything but we did :wall: . [/hide] That sucks, your dad needs realise that your brother will be severly disadvantaged if he stays at home, if your dad ever complains about tax, tell him that if people didn't let their children stay at home, but instead made sure they got good grades and a job, then those people wouldn't need unemployment payments and the money could be used for the tax payers benefits, such as repairing roadways and finding cures for sicknesses. He's one of those complainer types so yeah. He ended up going in all day anyway so I'm happy at least. :) Lol XD I think his theory goes along the lines of if you have money for alcohol, then it's all fine.
  8. I think the funniest part of that image is the 3rd post. Never have I seen such shameless wbm'ing. Also (s)he's a huge hypocrite, because replying to spam IS spam! Thats actually true. Happy gaming?! What sort of player says that? XD

Loved the videos.  The second one was scarily accurate too. :?
  10. Explian :o You need an explanation? Take this tangled monstrosity as your explanation. [hide=Moderately big image][/hide] Whoooooooooa. That's actually amazing. :o I can't do that...
  11. I had this thing going where there was a trail of C4 leading to enclosed nitro and I had to run the guy to the shelter place before the nitro ignited and destroyed him :D Damn I really wanna go back to playing it now but I should go to bed :P

Warning: Rant ahead - exit at next post to avoid I asked my dad why my little brother is having school off from 12 even though he doesn't have to go for his eye test until about half 4. He asked me why did I care. I said he's my brother and I'm concerned about his education (he has a lot of time off with being ill/refusing to go in). All I heard him mumbling to my mum is 'Why am I being questioned?' [bleep]ing git. He's the damn one that takes my brother to the PUB rather than getting him fed. He's the one that drags my mum from work straight into the pub so we both don't get food until past 10 o'clock sometimes. He's the damn one that wastes all our money, telling my brother he's going to get a new laptop when we can't AFFORD IT. He does my head in somet-- most of the time. Fair enough he works for a living but someone obviously missed giving him a copy of HOW TO NOT BE [developmentally delayed]ED and how to raise your children without taking them to the [bleep]ing pub. Why THE HELL TAKE A CHILD OUT OF SCHOOL FOR NO DAMN REASON OTHER THAN YOU WANT HIM TO HAVE HALF A DAY OFF. LEARN TO BE A GODDAMN PARENT FOR ONCE IN YOUR LIFE AND REALISE THAT YOUR FIRST CONCERN SHOULD BE YOUR NINE YEAR OLD NOT YOURSELF. As long as I've got food and internet I don't care, but I don't want my brother growing up and ending up like me. :( Sorry for the rant. But he really, really gets to me sometimes. Why the hell can't I question him? Nobody else has the damn guts to go against what he says and even I don't. :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:
  14. You made me remember I lol at the word masticate.    Mastication for the nation! I am so immature :P
  15. Lol thats how much everyone in my neighbourhood earns in a year all put together  Discounting the drug dealers and that of course. Anywho, care to spread a little of that wealth around to those of us who barely have enough money for dinners every day? :wall: Just kidding. (I'm serious about the dinners though #-o )
  16. You got me playing this again >.< The pyro one is best, I like constructing elaborate things that always end in a Nitro explosion.
  17. [developmentally delayed] Chatting (like, you're chatting [cabbage]) Well mint/sick (outdated but I like it : ) Chavvin' it up big syle (I use it to troll my little brother who'd be a chav if it wasn't for me) Righty [garden tool] Fiddlesticks Lawl (yes, lol :wall: ) Subjective (I use it on people who don't know what it means :P) And then a load of memes #-o .

I do it pretty poorly at the last minute. I'm not into this homework and revision crap. If I can get a B in my AS level sociology exam with no revision then more power to me, don't force me into doing homework when I do enough work in college anyway :wall: I do get the point of it, but it just doesn't help me. I don't come home and think 'Oh yes I'll do my homework now!' I go to bed then think 'Oh [cabbage] I didn't do my homework' and end up writing stuff about nerves and dendrites and [cabbage] I wasn't even in the lesson for at one in the morning #-o I've never been big on the homework thing and my parents don't even know what discipline is so they've never made me do it really.

Since we KNOW it's crap it's a waste of money. And when arguing with Twilight fangirls, just lie and say you have read it  .
  20. Miley Cyrus is a [bleep]. She's seducing young boys (like my 9 year old brother) into thinking they can be 'rockstars' one day like she 'is'. I honestly want her and the rest of those Disney Channel 'stars' to die.
  21. I agree with Scientific scaper for the most part and I try to do my training efficiently. However I usually do a few little calculations on my calc here for like... what runes to craft would be most profitable? Are natures better money than double cosmics? Should I buy or mine the ess... ect. I'm not the sort of person that can go 10 levels and cut like... 7000 yews in one go. I usually factor minigames into my training too. They're not the best experience but can provide some enjoyment away from grinding. I kind of went off on one there but in conclusion:  I enjoyed the fictional article too. Yay Aestas ^___^
  22. Yeah, Stepmania is pretty great once you get the hang of downloading songs for it ^_^ There's places you can get the Konami originals like the proper DDR games and there are loads of simfiles for just all songs I can give you some links if you like and that. Stepmania is good with the keyboard too until you get a dance mat (I've bought an adapter thing so I can use my Wii one for USB, I can't wait until it arrives =P~ ). I tried putting Flash Flash Revolution on the internet browser for the wii then using the dance mat but it didn't work XD Shame really.

I once vaguely considered myself to be emo. (I did cut myself but that was just me being a [developmentally delayed]). I had black and pink stripey arm warmers and everything! :o [hide=Armwarmery Goodness][/hide] Basically I just consider emo kids to be whiny and stuck up themselves. I know and am friends with a few people who wear dark clothing and listen to more emo'y, gothic like music but they're nothing like the sort of Emos you get on Livejournal :| OMG I HAET MYSELF NO1 LIEKS ME!! My bf broke up wiv me cuz he sed I cry 2 much!!!1 Im just showin my emotions!! No1 understands me OMGGGG xXxX~~~~ *insert poetry relating to blood, angels, darkness inside, MCR and loneliness here*
  24. I thought that was sailing? That's dead now. Read the siggy. Also: read your own. Very true. But that doesn't mean people will give up on it. #-o They have no choice. Resistance is futile. I am such a nerd for immediately getting that reference. :ugeek: On topic: I think it's a good idea but until it's actually done then we won't really know if it will work or not =/

I used to live in England and have never ever seen a girl chav. But I have seen.. a Sri lankan ghetto guy that sits in front of his dad's grocery store all day. Girl chavs do exist. They're plastered in make-up and fake tan. Usually pregnant wearing a tracksuit and following most of the male chav traits. I live in a chav infested area. Some people generalise it to everybody who lives in council houses which is unfair, but I don't think I've ever seen a chav who lives in a house that isn't council owned.
