You are assuming that there are even or fixed number of players selling/buying. Players have different time to sell and buy. While i sleep for night in US, waiting for a seller, someone in China morning decides to put his item on ge, which goes to me at random. Perhaps you are thinking those who offers max price should get priority over those with lower when buying and vice versa when selling

Hear hear, now lets get a jagex admin to notice this idea. I think it would be much better if jagex takes all portals, except the last goal, away so no one can quit during/after the game. This way, they would have stick to the end of the game.

Higher number means higher chance to get 0s from monster/player's attack style (Not max-damage reduction). So if you are fighting a giant, it is better to equip armors that offers highest crush-defense bonus.
