  1. Thanks for reporting this, mate. I can see what the issue is - just have to figure out what's causing it. But, we're on it. :). Edit: It's rather out dated - doesn't include dungeoneering prayers - but it's working again. I've added it to my to-do list to make it sexy like the other new cals. ;).
  2. Guys (gals), what happened happened. She was trying to help. Could have been handled differently, yeah, but unless the author has the original saved and feels like reverting it for some reason, back to the update. Speaking of which... God was that small. Should have just made it a no update week and bundled this in with next week's. Though, I did get excited seeing Vic. Had to Lol at this though: We've chained @JagexDrew to his desk. 500 RTs in the next hour with #BringBackVic & we'll release Vic today!
  3. Junior Crewbie Recruitment As you may (or may not!) know, the information on all of Tip.It's pages is maintained by a group of dedicated volunteers known collectively as the Tip.It Website Crew. If you've seen them around our forum, you may have recognized the purple names. This small group of people is entirely responsible for all the content on the site, from making sure skill guides are up-to-date to adding and collecting information on when items in the game are released to tracking down changes that may not entirely be covered in the Patch Notes. If you haven't gotten the jist of it, it is a lot of stuff to keep up with, and we could use some help. And that, dear reader, is where you can come in! We are excited to announce, as of today, a new opportunity to help contribute to our site as a Junior Crewbie! This is a new site position we are going to be offering. What is expected and what are the benefits of being a Junior Crewbie you ask?Unlike other staff positions, this time new members are welcome to apply, even if you are reading this and don't currently have a forum account! You need to make one though obviously for us to grant access to a forum that isn't public. All we ask is that you have some free time and are willing to be able to commit on a weekly basis.A somewhat lower time commitment compared to regular Crew, say ~3 to 5 hours/week. You still need to put in a few hours a week to help gather information, and we expect you to be active in chat when you're around, but most of it will focus on obtaining information rather than the sometimes more arduous job of coding it in.Junior Crewbies will have access to a staff forum and a Skype chat to get a feel for what goes on in Crew. You can see people collaborating, help out yourself, ask questions, and even just hang out during down time. We're cool like that :shades: .You will be able to help Tip.It in an official capacity and become a trusted source of information, instead of being restricted to submitting information through the website corrections section. You will be given assignments weekly and after a few weeks, given your official color and rank title assuming everything goes well.Junior Crewbies are not given privileges to access our system and write code, so you should not be expecting this. This position will however serve as a recruitment pool for those who may be interested in advancing to full crew work, should you be interested. There are some things that are absolutely necessary for this position; they are:Tip.It Forum account. You need to make an account with TIF to apply of course, and you'll be expected to check up on assignments weekly.Activity. There are two facets to activity:Generally being available. Most weeks, you should be free to do stuff. Simple right?Clear communication of when you're unavailable. This is frequently glossed over, but is just as important.Skype account. We work closely together in Skype. You need to have or make an account there. We use Skype as an instant messenger; there is no obligation to use voice chat functions. You'll notice that I haven't mentioned anything about RuneScape stats thus far. Having found this forum post and assuming you still play or are willing to keep up with or investigate content, that is probably enough. You don't need to be a god in stats to help out Tip.It. After all, if you had already finished all the quests, you wouldn't be able to test whether ancient bones awarded from Restless Ghost stack with bonuses (for example). So if doing research on items and other stuff appeals to you, this is definitely an opportunity that you'll want to take advantage of! If you're still reading and this has piqued your interest, great! We'll need the following information from you. We are not running this on a first-come first-serve basis, so please take your time to fill out a few questions thoroughly and accurately. This is as much for us to learn about you and see if there is stuff you would enjoy doing - we're not judging you on stats or anything. Please copy and paste the application into your Personal Messenger, fill it out there, and address it to Staff_Applications. We look forward to reviewing your application and hope to work with you in the future!
  4. God... Someone mentioned to me today, "The world is too impersonal these days. When was the last time you remembered someone's phone number." As true as that is, I was at work and decided to check TIF on my phone after Animamundi/Ned sent me a text about this announcement. Since my PC always auto-logs me in, I couldn't remember my damn password to congratulate you! Kinda relates to paragraph number 1, I guess. :P. That said... Well done, Arceus! Look forward to blaming you every time the site breaks working with you. :).
  5. Damn... Think I would have noticed that... http://www.tip.it/runescape/pages/view/divinationTransmutationCalculator.htm And also... Wanted rank 365, but I think so are the other people who have been so close to 200M so the haven't budged in a while so just decided to get it:
  6. Well now, technically Mod MMG said, "You can not take your credit card and effectively buy GP or XP from the Squeal of Fortune [now Treasure Hunter]." Y'all are imagining things.
  7. Ned would be the guy to ask, as he's actually achieved it. I'll point him this way.
  8. After a few endless days with the baby girl and the kids... I refuse to move from this spot until I go back to work on the 5th...
  9. Aw, why'd you remove it? :(.
  10. I'll take responsibility for that... Lol. I was working on our plugin that displays the bestiaryTooltip (hover over a link to any bestiary/item/quest entry) and accidentally overwrote it with the questTooltip (Don't ask how... Lol). Sorry it took a while to fix - busy day at work.
  11. Only speaking for myself, but solo I get 130+ kph with EoC at TDs using tier 80 gear (140+ with tier 90), no void. I doubt Legacy can get near that. Also blood fury necklace rocks there. Really. Fairly certain you could beat that with legacy. Though, I only TD with Superior Void/Noxious/Holy water, but killing a TD every 25.7 seconds seems reasonable - depending on spawn rate.
  12. Added together, his signature is 380x252x136.29KB... 380<700 252<300 136<750 ...Where's the issue? If they were side-by-side he'd exceed the 700 width, but they're stacked vertically. Also, for those who dislike the change, I thought I'd mention that you can hide all or individual signatures: Note the X in the top right. Our signature sizes were a fair bit less then other communities. As in Arceus' example, two stat signatures was previously too tall. Now people can display two accounts in their signatures, for example. A visual example of the differences (500x250 being the previous):
  13. Couple days ago. :): Ready for the winterrr.
  14. I'm sure we could make a page where people could add and remove timers, name them, etc. Perhaps play a sound when said timer is out. Option to automatically restart the timer when it reaches 0:0:0. Just a thought. :P.
  15. See this and get slightly excited: Then see this: Why do they insist on using the absolute worst graphics settings when previewing their coming updates?... It just look terrible. Isn't the idea to show off your best product?
  16. Try using http://runetracker.org instead :3 I hadn't updated my RuneTracker in a while... And when I did yesterday, I'd already gained 3M XP - so RuneTracker.org is currently not accounting for another 3M on top of what's currently showing, or else I'd be even further ahead. Edit: Now that I look, 3M was incorrect. I've actually gained 27.4M XP in Firemaking - RuneTracker is only showing 21.7M. Still on top, but it's making me fight for first when I shouldn't have to -.- [spoiler=Updated RuneTrack]
  17. That 15M+ week was all in 24 hours (still 3 hours left of it), but RuneTrack.com apparently only updates the dailies/weeklies every day at 2AM EST. >.< Edit: Aaand the world DCs, which somehow made our avatar inaccessible for half hour. :(. Oh well, went the first 8 hours without it. *Cough*.
  18. Hello there! Arceus and Howlin were nice enough to point me toward this thread. As essiw mentioned, I'm typically the guy to go to for calculators. The reason they've not been added yet is because we've had a new set of calculators on the back-burners for some time. Calculators that build and update themselves. These actually have the BXP option included. I didn't design any of the standard skill calculators - those were from before my time on Crew. If you'd like, as I get time, I'm sure I could rig some of the current ones with bonus experience. I can't guarantee anything, as I've been working a steady 72 hours a week... But, is there any that you think should be done first? Also, if you don't see myself or other Crew responding to a thread (believe me... Our plates have been full), don't hesitate to shoot us a PM!
  19. ^ This guy. But, IDK anyone personally who's been caught for RWT (or if they have, they've not told me). I know many who have in the past and still do - some buying/selling between each other, others buying/selling to various companies. They transfer hundreds of millions to billions and are still logging in each day. That said, I'm sure they detect some, but not all by any means.
