If you want a fast and easy 99 dump the 30m on fletching broad arrows, or profit with broad bolts (you need to be a mousekey master for those though). I agree wiith Pluckey though, 99 ranged/mage would be far more useful. Chinning the lot might be just over 30m but it's worth it, just farm a bunch (while getting void if you don't have it yet).

If you want to do it the cheapest way you use regular bones at the Ectofungus (which is actually called Ectofuntus iirc). If you want to live through it, use dragon bones on an altar. If you don't have the money, it's probably faster to hunt for the bones yourself than altaring big bones.

Less, even, especially with an iron/steel.

Qeltar's testing proved that you get 5% more black dragon kills without a ring. He didn't test with potions either because that would make the test unfair :rolleyes:. You can basically disregard his tests as accurate as they are.

I can do a Strykewyrm task with 2 Bunyips, and since his stats are way higher than mine, it would be a waste of a block blocking Strykewyrms. And Mages aren't worth a slot either. I have Kalphites, Steel Dragons, and Black Demons blocked. Steels are not bad either (profit especially with yak, but also otherwise + elites & effigies) and black demons are just great ;-).

Nonono, first you can't use a cannon there and second the small ones are awful effigies. You cannon them in the Pollivneach well. Look into Vex's guide here on tif for more info (he told Zarfot about them).

Quite so, attack bonus never beats strength bonus. However onyx (i) protects over most things, so you can use it if you don't want to lose your berserker I guess.

Grenwalls require bait & smoke, so you use scentless potions and a fruit bat iirc.

+ that using an sgs is less often possible than ss flashing, because you can ALWAYS ss flash whereas sgs doesn't work on wyverns very well, for example.

Uhm sgs helps for slayer.. Many people (who I speak ingame) have slayer as major money-maker. Boss hunting is now useless without 96+ herblore and shoudln't be considered a viable method for the masses - Only the elite few will be succesfull at boss hunting nowadays. First thing, you forget +5 stews and the fact that tds are still very good without overloads (provided you have a unicorn). Many people bosshunt and tds are better money than slayer even at 120 combat. Sgs also slows down slayer & doesn't cover all the ppots you need on most tasks (2 specs/5 mins @ 10 points per spec).

^Nifflin I'm watching you :cool:. A yak will get you more added profit than superantifires, granted, but it's going to take ages. And extremes are more useful for other things, so yeah. In terms of usefulness I'd rate them yak > turm > ext, in terms of cost/effort ext > turm > yak. lol.

Terror dogs aren't that bad, you can use a combat familar and they are fast points for cancelling stuff. Strykes are terrible xp (except ice) and charms but drop elites, so it's what you like. Warped torts have only 2 spawns, so you have a) competition and b) overall slow task. Don't block wyverns or dusties because of the charms. You can also use a combat familar (geyser) to kill them faster.

I'd just sell bcp - think it's selling at med now - and get yourself superantifire, then yak, then turmoil. Assuming all you are doing is frosts.

I guess even there you could prefer a stronger KO over more overall accuracy, but yeah, onyx (i) is really only for tribrid. And the only place you use that is DKS or pvp.

The Saradomin godsword is around 34m now, and that will get you between 1m and 1.5m herblore xp (as much as 2m if you are cheap, but let's say you are not). You need 4m xp to get EEE, and other stats, true. Thing is, even though herblore is more expensive, you want to get it sgs or no sgs. If we are looking at the price for eee+extremes versus sgs + extremes, eee is a lot cheaper. Hence why the costs of herblore are actually irrelevant to sgs vs. eee. You don't pay to get eee, you pay to get extremes, and that's independant. Also the sgs doesn't actually help you get money (idk where you would use it, not god wars, not dks (risk), not frosts, perhaps tds, but bgs would work equally well really, certainly not skilling). Also, 81 herblore helps you get money more (@ frosts with superantifires and only costs about as much as sgs starting at level 65-70ish).

Dragon meds, or something. You could get a stack of spirit shards for a total of 50b or even a stack of dkirts @ 150k each, but I don't think a trade can hold more than 2.147b on each side?

But an SGS you can use while gaining money for other things. And in the end you can sell the sgs. - For maybe a small loss, but that loss is neglicable to the money you'll spent on getting everythign for EEE. What does that have to do with anything? You either spend whatever the millions are for sgs, or you spend it on 87 herblore and get EEE. You either end up with a permanent and powerful combat boost or with a riskable, less powerful combat boost.
