  1. Yes plural, lol have 3 now Well, unless you go boss hunting or something else that involves significant risk with them there's really no use for 3 of them...I would personally recommend that you sell at least one of them, then if you really wanted you could loan one out and still have one to use. There's nothing fun that you can do with three whips that you can't do with one...
  2. For the quest, wear the best rune armour you can, bring a super set and an inv of monks and you should easily beat him (Make sure to bring your anti shield, and maybe a teletab). FYI the overload potion is untradeable and unrequestable, the only way to get one is by having 96t herblore. In terms of what to do to start out, if you haven't finished all of the f2p quests do that, and if you have then I would train up combat on something easy and mildly profitable, like hobgoblins.
  3. Well, this is embarrassing, but I have no idea how to convince the civilians to throw a tomato at the recruiter, I have spoken with men, women, and civilians both with and without a tomato in my inventory. If someone could help that would be appreciated, thanks a bunch  .
  4. (actually i remember reading the post about that, but then the post was deleted for some reason! any idea what happened?) yeap i'm prayin too. They said lvl 99 req's MAYBE?!? just maybe!?! Slay a dark beast, mine a rune ore, and thieve a hero please! Just as I complete all the other diaries <_< .

You can also buy plant cures, empty them, and then fill them with water. The cost less than regular or water filled vials, but it takes a lot longer to prep them.
  6. Only way you could speed it up is to buy the unfinished potions and just add the secondary ingredient, but that's significantly more expensive.
  7. Personally, I just assumed that I would stay there until I died, and adjusted my inventory accordingly (I can usually make it back with an Anger of Death gravestone). An EE is invaluable there, as it's basically unlimited food. Lastly, there's a dungeon you fall into when you fail some of the traps, it can be used to avoid revs, allowing you to switch worlds  .
  8. I'm assuming that by "decent gear" you would need at least one armadyl armour piece, and unless you have a friend who would be willing to lend it to you that is a bit out of your price range.
  9. It's also worth noting that the obby necklace is near unbuyable at the moment because of the shop update coupled with inflation, so keep an offer in at max if you want but stick with the d scim/LBS till you get one.
  10. I camped there with void melee and a d hally, it was boring as hell, but if you want to try it out there's no reason you couldn't do it. Black masks come about as often as d boots in my experience, but don't go there expecting one.
  11. Because I'm sure that you can do really well at armadyl with those stats and welfare armour, plus GWD isn't what I would call consistent cash. Green drags, aviansese, rcing, MTK, and herb runs will all give you guarenteed cash it is a good suggestion, said player will have to get his stats up eventually. it looks like u have max quest points so i have to say tormented demons TD's and Armadyl GWD are the two single best non-merchanting money makers out there TD's make ~ 2.5 mil gp/hour these days the drop rate of claws is one in 200-300 so essentially you would need to go 1000 kills before your first d-claw to get an average income lower than green dragons/aviansie and let me tell you that does NOT happen often the idea of "guaranteed cash" is kind of trivial when the "risky" money maker is on the order of 3-5x faster average money/hour oh and in response to the welfare gear. With black d'hide. whip, rune crossbow, broad bolts, etc the value risked for a TD outfit is around 400k gp well within the acceptable ranges of a welfare monster hunter My response was in respect to Armadyl GWD, not to a TD's mass. I really do not have much knowledge about them, so you are probably right that they are good money, but it might be nice to get consistent cash flow until about 10mil, and then start doing the risky methods.
  12. Just so you know, the DFS actually has negaive mage bonuses, whereas the Anti-Dragonfire Shield doesn't, therefore it is better to have an Anti shield while maging (Or ranging) than a DFS.
  13. You'd think someone with 98 slayer would know that the ROW sucks. Its usefulness varies from task to task, and with the new MA rings there is more options to consider over it.
  14. That actually sums it up pretty well, from what I gathered from discussions about "Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime" (An ok book, took me an afternoon to read if you're interested in autism) there are just certain things "normal" people do in conversations to be socially acceptable that autistic people have trouble picking up on. Obviously that is a broad generalization, but it's a good start.
  15. Browse on the forums, bs of facebook, find some sites with tv shows/movies (Southparkstudios.com is good if you like that show :^_^: ), basically pay attention to anything but rs except when you need to switch spots/bank.
  16. I'm not sure you understand the concept of drugs. Drugs aren't just things like heroin and weed, or even alcohol and tobacco, it's also things like caffeine and Ritalin. People with asthma, heart disease, cancer, AIDS, schizophrenia, and countless other diseases would just get worse and worse and die (Or start to kill people in the case of schizophrenia) much earlier than they would have without drugs. Besides, did prohibition in any way curb the consumption of alcohol? Basically your whole point is unfounded and detrimental to society.
  17. Because I'm sure that you can do really well at armadyl with those stats and welfare armour, plus GWD isn't what I would call consistent cash. Green drags, aviansese, rcing, MTK, and herb runs will all give you guarenteed cash
  18. That also depends, Mind shield is the best if you're ranging and DragonFire is the best if your meleeing, but who kills wyverns these days  Don't forget about slayer tasks ;) .
  19. Put about 1mil of that 2mil into MTK and put most of your workers on herb farming (There's a thread in general discussion saying that herb farming is the most profitable from the recent herblore boom). The other workers can be your choice of coal, raw fish, or maples. And I suppose you could try double cosmics or astrals for some consistent cash, or green dragons if you aren't totally bored of those.
  20. Just some background, I didn't read the rest of the thread but there is some misinformation on the first post. This info was found on a History Channel show called: Hooked - Illegal Drugs & How They Got That Way (Link to the first in a five part youtube video about it can be found here). Anyways, to the point, marijuana was first made illegal to keep Mexicans out of America during the depression so they wouldn't "take our jobs." So largely the first ban of this drug was based on racial discrimination in order to advance the economical principle that American jobs should be held by Americans. Just to clarify :)
  21. I know the thread has moved past this post, but I feel the need to educate you on GRID, or Gay-Related Immune Deficiency. That was the proposed name of the disease now known as AIDS, or Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. Back in 1982 when this disease was surfacing in the US many scientists assumed that because the disease appeared largely in homosexuals that it only affected them. This name has since been discarded, the findings have been proven false, and thus I can say that your knowledge on the relationship between AIDS and the gay community is more than two decades out of date. I also find it strange that you feel the need to create a thread on homosexual relations and whether they are "right" or "wrong", yet you cannot bring yourself to say "If two men had sex." Lastly, in response to your thread as a whole I hope you know that "good" and "evil" are subjective, not objective.
  22. The reason that most people don't want to accidentally attack npc's is that if you keep it from degrading you can resell it after you are done. What you have done is made it so that you can never sell your armor, but if you're ok with that then don't worry.
  23. Only until they become non-aggressive, after that they are completely safespot-able. Just make sure to read the last page of the aforementioned AOW guide, I posted some pics on how to lure them after the RuneTek5 update.
  24. This exact same thing is happening to me :wall: . Fortunately I have plans for the rest of the day so I'm just going to log and wait for JaGeX to hopefully fix this problem.
  25. Remember that it will also save you a bit of coin if you repair barrows at your armor stand in your POH, I think you should go for it but it's your account so just do whatever you feel will make you happy.
