  1. Good to know :wall: .
  2. Well Troacctid made a miniguide in his woodcutting guide geared towards getting full lumberjack, and he does a pretty good job of that : . [hide=~ Troacctid's Woodcutting Guide ~]The trick is to take the easiest route through the swamp (the blue one) and bring the weakest follower (Forester, Woman-at-Arms, Smiddi Ryak, or Rolayne Twickit). On the easiest route, you can dodge all the combat events without needing to fight, which speeds things up considerably. Also, in the combat events you don't skip, the enemies will be low level and easy to kill. And bringing the weakest follower gives you the best rewards for trekking, as well as increasing the number of monsters you fight against. Wield your standard melee combat gear. Whip and barrows armour is fine--Verac's is good for the prayer boost. If you have a slayer ring, bring that. And make sure your inventory includes a knife. If you don't have a slayer ring, you will need to bring a well-stocked druid pouch and some sacks of vegetables. (Cabbages, onions, potatoes, whatever. Baskets of strawberries are also good, since they double as excellent food for healing yourself.) Please note that this setup should ONLY be used for the easy path. The events: If you come across a combat event, you will want to skip it with two exceptions: snakes and nail beasts. Snakes are worth fighting because using a knife on their corpse will reward you with bulk quantities of snakeskins worth 2k each. A single snake event can give you anywhere from 20-50k gp profit, which makes it well worth your time. They can attack you all at once, but if you have good defence bonuses, you can probably tank. You might need to use pro melee though, so watch out. Nail beasts are worth fighting because they drop rare and valuable talon beast charms, which are the best charm in the game. You can use them to make talon beast pouches for a whopping 1k summoning experience each, more than any other pouch! Even if you don't have 77 summoning, you will eventually end up kicking yourself at some point if you throw them away. You'll take some damage in these fights, so you can either use pro melee, bring Guthan's, or tank them and heal with cheap food at the Burgh de Rott bank when you need to. Not all events are combat events. Most of the other ones are simple and easy, but there are two annoying ones to watch for. First is the bog where you have to find a path across by trial and error. Use your knife on the bush to get some sticks to test the ground before you try to cross it. If you forget your knife, it can take ages to get across, and even if you have it, it's still the slowest event. This is the main reason why I advise bringing the ring of slayer: if you get this event, simply use it to teleport to the Slayer Tower, then run south and start a new trek. It's much faster than slogging though the bog. The other annoying one is the "Birth of a Ghast" event, where you come across starving travellers that you need to feed. This is why you have your veggies. Pull a few cabbages out of their sack and force feed them to the starving dudes so you can be on your way. It's not all that bad, it just means you need to spend extra inventory space on it, so don't forget. Again, if you have a slayer ring, you can skedaddle from this event if you don't want to carry food or druid pouches to protect the food. Well, that's probably all you really need to know about how to do Temple Trekking. If you want, you can go on the harder routes for better rewards for each trek and a tougher, more entertaining challenge. That would take a different setup, which I'd rather not go into. It would also get you your lumberjack a lot slower. You can refer to the Game Guide article on Temple Trekking here if you want to get deeper into it.[/hide]
  3. If the Dwogres are too crowded though (Have the crowds died down?) remember that the level 48's drop them as well.
  4. Just fyi the changes in the Engine has made luring monsters ever so SLIGHTLY different, and now the bandos safespot is pretty much nerfed. You can still kill one of them (Southern one?) but you need to have the style put on long range, and that makes it less efficient then zammy/sara ones.
  5. Lapalock, so I can get the slayer cape without having to train after 85  .
  6. Your fletching level is enough, as a fletching potion can boost up to 3 levels (You should bring a couple doses just in case it doesn't go high enough). Also I would recommend that you just get 75 fming, it's really not that hard to do :P .

  8. For a d chain, not even close. But yes you should get 65 just because slayer is a good skill to train, and they are fast exp, crimson charms, and have some profit on the side. You may get lucky, but don't count on a chain and be glad for the drops that you do get.

  10. Doh! of course. I feel stupid. :( Off-topic, but your avatar is going to give me nightmares :ohnoes: .
  11. I strongly disagree. WoW has an option where one can change their username, and they aren't allowed to use spaces or numbers! There is no confusion in their community when someone does a name change, they simply tell all their friends their new name. Easy. :S I'm 100% in favour of this update. I'm guessing that there may be a slight difference between WoW's code and Runescript (Don't quote me on that though). The main problem that will cause mass confusion, as opposed to the way WoW handles name changes, is that everyone and their mother will be trying to change their name at the same time. Even if the system works fine on balance, the first day things will be chaos. To put it in WoW terms: It will be like trying to get into Silvermoon when the Burning Crusade first launched.
  12. How do you mean? Do the mithril dragons drop anything that looks like a Dragon Med when it's on the ground? Or are you saying that Rune Full helms look like D Meds? Sorry for the confusion :( I think he means that d meds and rune fulls look like d fulls. Also, Snakeskin chaps at wyverns rub me the wrong way (Same with g legs I would assume, but I've never had those either  ).
  13. Was that from the Q&A, I don't remember there being an answer that specific, just that they were updating slayer soon.
  14. I would go and play mechscape \ .
  15. I'm having trouble understanding your logic... :?
  16. Please tell us what monster drops the toadflax herb. According to the bestiary Zombie Hands near the Mutated Bloodvelds drop grimy toadflax. And yes, if you do happen to be killing Zombie Hands and get toadflax as a drop I think it is worth your time to collect.
  17. I don't think black mask/slayer helm, void, or salve ammy stack (obviously you can't use void with black mask/slayer helm) salve + void do stack It's true, void increases "damage and accuracy" while the salve ammy increases "attack and strength".
  18. Either a d scim or an obby sword + zerker combo would work well.
  19. Toadflax aren't dropped by monsters, but their seeds are and they are worth farming. Either way, personally I only pick up ranarrs and kwuarm but cadentine, lantadyme, and dwarf weed are worth considering if you have the room.
  20. Do revs. go around there alot? My biggest problem is if I go into the wild, revs always seem to find me and I end up dieing If they do just pray range and run to clan wars, you can even go into safe free for all and recharge your hp and prayer if it got low running from them.
  21. To be honest I barely use my void melee, I use it most often when I feel like going to pc  . Of course I train melee through slayer almost entirely, so if you're off task and killing mosters with low att it works (It's good to collect the Champion Scrolls ;) ). I did 57-68 in one day and it was totally worth it, good luck  .
  22. The fruit bat does help farming in a roundabout kind of way in that it collects seeds that you can use for farming, but it's more of an all around good familiar to have skilling than a farming-specific one.
  23. I love quests, even though I used a guide for most of them I never spam clicked just to get ahead, I always loved reading the dialouge and interacting with the story. My favorite quest for the sheer lulz factor was and always shall be As a First Resort (Probably because I love many of the essays I've read on the lack of clarity in the english language, and that the best writing is upfront writing). I have been pretty good about doing the quests as soon as they come out, not to get the reward first (Or even to get back my only skill cape  ) but to prove to myself that I am worthy of having max qp and can complete quests by myself.

  25. I have this exact same problem, and I have yet to find a resolution. Something you could try is posting to the Mozilla help page or maybe the tech forum here (Something I have yet to do as it doesn't bother me too much).
