  1. I wouldn't doubt Jagex interveins. Is that not what I just said on the post before that? Its price floors and ceilings that makes these items unbuyable Who remembers limpwurt roots thing?

Today, I woke up from the three weirdest dreams ever. First dream involved flying, fishing, and finding a corpse whilst fishing (wtf?). The second one involved Telekinesis, and school. Third one involved really hawt chicks, and crimefighting. What do these dreams mean?
  3. No i dont think a single person on this forum would disagree with what you just said Tastes like a hint of sarcasm. I'll wait for a response to that. Interesting to hear other people's views. It wasnt, from day one of the GE people have been saying this. Get rid of the limits, and let it update much more often. I dont see why Jagex doesnt realize this Limits? the 5% limit is fine on most items, it just doesn't update enough. Whoops i used the wrong word, price floors and ceilings is what i was refering to. I agree with that. It doesn't make sense why raw bird meat remain frozen at unbuyable prices, and maple longbow (u)'s used to be frozen at unsellable prices.

  5. As inhumane as this may sound, would there be an argument against rescuing the miners? From a financial perspective - It must have cost them well in the millions to save these miners. "What if the money was used in education and health?". I'm sure someone out there must have thought about that before the press descended
  6. This thread requires a little bumping. I've had expired egg before. God, you don't want to know what that tastes like...
  7. It wouldn't make much sense for the G.E. to update on an item's price if it was traded via player2player. So, ya' know. Well enough alone is well enough alone tbh. No, I think he meant that prices should rise if a lot of people are bidding above the avg price of an item and it isn't buying. Like say people putting in max offers for a cracker should rise the price of crackers even if none get sold. That's how i thought the G.E. worked and that's how it should work, but it isn't. Might make it too easy to manipulate the system. They should make an update like this, without telling us the way it works. They practically explained how to 26k when the PvP worlds were released :|
  8. Same, except he's my replacement Economics teacher. He even gone as far as misinterpreted something I said as 'trannies' (wtf?). I hate having to literally shout at people to get them to do something :/.
  9. When does this topic reach the peak user activity?
  10. You just created a Paradox. Thank you, 1/3 of the universe will be destroyed. To contribute to this topic: Are we human, or are we dancers? EDIT - Weird theory I had a while ago. Could the universe in reality be shrinking? Perhaps the laws of physics goes backwards, with time going backwards too. Hmmm And what's outside the universe?
  11. I've got a great idea. Post your expressions whilst typing your responses to these questions. :o
  12. Actually quite a nicely thought out idea, quite plausible. I haven't read much through this suggestion, but I can definitely see it happening.
  13. They actually do, in a very nondirect way. Effigies are actually more efficient than actually RuneCrafting, in terms of both money and xp/h. I still don't support the skiller slaying idea. It's made to be a combat skill, with the ultimate goal of defeating new monsters. Fighting a monster with non combat skills is illogical to me.
  14. When that happens, it will shoot up 50-100m in GE, then become buyable, and drop down to around 90% of current price, over a few months. That is my speculation. Sounds about right. It's basically the same as what Dclaws were, except over a period of two years nearly
  15. Why the Veracs? Shouldn't you be wearing Bandos?
  16. Getting mugged by a thug. A very attractive tree
  17. Derivative of products? >.> v(du/dx) + u(dv/dx)
  18. Considering JaGex, it's surprising how well thought out it is. It protects over Dragon Claws, so no low risk high reward bh+1. 60% special means you can't double special unless you get exceedingly lucky with the timings of the special attack, the 'awesome spec' can't be used in multi combat and lastly, it requires an actual quest before ability to re-obtain it.
  19. That's no confession. A real confession; I flick my boogers when no one's looking.
  20. You know what sucks? Mental images. You know what's worse? When it's more than a mental image. *shudders*
  21. Every half hour is a little steep. It should be done by the ratio of buy/sell offers that is left longer than a certain period of time
  22. That only solves part of the problem.
  23. There already has been a great opportunity of implementing this system. It was called Statuettes. It's a shame, they could've made PvP only armours (Using PvP currency, for special armours that could have a constitution boost, or some other fancy effect) but instead, they caused inflation. It's funny, some of the reason why Partyhats and other rares remain so high is because they are traded for manipulation junk, not the old kind of junk (maple longbow (u)'s). I don't think Tokkul/Trading sticks, or any other kind of currency will work at all. They won't be viable methods of obtaining said currency, and if we can trade gold for it, what's the point? Oh, and seeing as this thread is based on rares, an arguable solution would be make the GE update prices faster on items that aren't very equal on supply/demand.
  24. This thread is probably copy pasta from Urban Dictionary on 'Runescape'. There are so many false assumptions I wouldn't know where to begin
  25. I am trying to quit this game, but I can't. Now since I read this, I might actually be able to do it. Do not be fooled by fallacious arguments. Simply limit your time spent playing RuneScape, and you'd be fine. Give me one good reason why it's better to quit the game, than to cut back on your hours.
