  1. current hunting grenwalls should still be better money than 91 runecrafting Can't tell you how long that'll last though :P
  2. It shouldn't cost to much to get 4 levels on them, and it could be done in under 2 hours for sure, so maybe look into them. D'hide bodies are absolutely horrible Keep in mind that you can make 2 air battlestaffs in the time it takes to make 1 d'hide body Toss in the fact that D'hide bodies are two or more times more expensive than air battlestaffs, and you have a strong argument against the use of air battlestaffs as a training method. anyways between GE and zaffs, you can get 664 battlestaffs a day. That's rather substantial if you ask me. Enough for 71 -> 75 crafting in 4 days.
  3. I personally like making air battlestaffs. They have always been a nice reliably efficient way to train crafting. Technically certain types of jewelry crafting are more efficient than battlestaffs at various incomes/market prices but market prices fluctuate too much around jewelry for me to care.
  4. I'm not gonna comment on special weapons I think you should have enough money to piety/turmoil tasks prosy platebody + verac plateskirt is simply an awesome combo

Yes. "Randoms" come after you get a set amount of XP. however if you're in a zone where you cannot get randoms (ape atoll dungeon, kuradal's dungeon, POH construction mode) you will always get a random after leaving the zone, if you've done a large amount of training in them. Randoms really aren't random.
  6. i do that all the time <3
  7. consider Fish Flingers It's a nice xp rate, ~18k xp/game depending on level, and each game lasts 15 minutes Just make sure you use a clan chat. money isn't good at all. But if you play it actively, you can get medals for tackleboxes At the very least, it's a minigame where you can kick back and relax for 15 minutes straight, since the "fishing spots" never move. Ever
  8. Well if that's the case, they worded their fansite support post rather poorly. It seems like the platinum/gold/silver/bronze ranks according to the amount of concept art/content they intend to give them. They however, implied that the fan sites are selected based on their size, community, content. This clearly isn't the case though, making alot of players go "what the heck just happened"
  9. Yeah? So where's yours? Site design is not important, as long as the site is usable. Content is important. Design is just as important as content, any marketing class would tell you so content >>>>> design tbh :P I wonder what criteria Jagex is judging this on. Tip.it's front page content's pretty average, but so are all the other platinums. But we do have the most active forums. I'm kinda irritated that jagex took off Zybez just because of a little squabble. Such an immature businessman-like tactic <_< I'm guessing this is just jagex's way of prodding fansites into becoming the type of fansites they like.
  10. Runehq's fansite looks like... well... this How the heck did it win platinum?
  11. that idea's presented thus far are comprehensive. two more method worth considering MAYBE. I suppose you could consider making feathered headdresses But you really don't wanna do that training method. You'll lose money, and kill your wrist. that and spinning flax horrible profits, horrible xp rate. But you do make profit <_< yeah... not really that good a method.
  12. few cheap ways of training a buyable skill like crafting, are actually any good if 7 mil is all you have in terms of cash, I highly recommend you look at this guide: http://forum.tip.it/topic/254632-daily-activities/ You'll be earning at least 500k gp/day with this guide. Air battlestaffs are a great way to go, and you'll break even so long as you buy your own battlestaffs from zaffs. crafting jewelry is probably better for someone at a low income though. But the idea of profiting off of gold jewelry merchanting clans seems remarkably toolish. but I suppose you don't care about the latter part so much. The following gold jewelry items are good to craft: Emerald ring Ruby amulet Emerald amulet Sapphire necklace Sapphire ring
  13. Using SC hammers is the way to go, if you can get into a good SC clan chat and get the SC hammers at a decent rate (4-5 hammers/hour) I also highly recommend buying oak logs and paying a butler/demon butler to cut the planks for you, unless you make incomes in excess of 2 mil/hour of course all this advice depends on market conditions.
  14. didn't jagex also mention adding a mage/range counterpart to turmoil? that'd only drive prices even higher.
  15. I'm pretty sure they sell for max, but I've only occasionally heard otherwise. even if they don't, the rogue will pay you GE min price for both unstrung and strung amulets.
  16. Players make enough money by hunting monsters I would have liked to see jagex allow skillers to earn tokkul somehow. Instead of pumping more money makers into the monster hunting aspect of the game.
  17. that's a distinct possibility. I'm personally inclined to believe that brews are a safe investment. With Jagex mentioning new higher level bosses and instance dungeons on the horizon, I can't imagine such a staple boss hunter consumable going down. Likewise new instance dungeons might have ways of healing yourself without food. Maybe monsters in the dungeons drop food, or there are healing fonts or something. maybe new lifepoint boosting armors will somehow make saradomin brews obsolete maybe lifepoint boosting armors will cause saradomin brews which heal a percent of your life points, to heal even more life points. Who knows. Just my thoughts :P Weigh the odds at your own peril :D
  18. I did a quick plug in of a 3mil gp/hour income into my spreadsheets, and the output was that extreme potions aside (since you're inevitably gonna make those on the way to 99) saradomin brews are currently the most efficient way to train herblore at your level, that is make-x even in spite of the 31 gp/xp pricetag.
  19. unfortunately for you, it looks like all potions with xp rates of over 100k xp/hour cost 25+ gp/xp and cheaper potions generally aren't worth the xp rate I'd say that much herblore xp will set you back about 75-90 mil with plain ole potions seriously, consider cleaning herbs. That's alot of money to dish out otherwise.
  20. +1 I must respect a person who replies so respecfully to everyone. Kudos to you   Devnull, if the poster wanted to be self sufficient he would have mentioned that. Your method requires that "patience is the key" note how the poster specifically said that he wanted the quickest way? Self sufficiency is simply never efficient.
  21. The whip has the best damage output for training of any melee weapon excluding Dharok's. Perhaps that's what he/she was referring to. He/She said ZGWD is relatively empty, i.e. compared to Bandos/Armadyl/Saradomin. And even on a friday night you can still find empty worlds. Just curious, since i've never used dharok's. is dharok's axe really that good? it is 1.75x slower, but you can already hit 50+ on undead with a salve and i know dharok's max hit is on the order of ~100 with undead and full stats and low hp I mean I guess it's possible that dharok's great axe could have slightly better damage rate than a whip, but no more than 10% under ideal conditions I'd imagine.
  22. gold is 50k xp/hour at low mining lvls + lava titan (80-85) i guess more is possible Erm, coal is definitely way slower, not sure how much slower. You should consider bringing superheat runes + mith/addy/runite ores so that you can "mine more coal" before banking, only lasts for the first run of course. I'd say coal is about 35k xp/hour.
  23. smithing -> superheat addy/rune ores are great once you have the smithing level plain smelting works well till then emerald rings and sapphire necklaces are really nice profit right now for f2p. But always keep your eyes on the market for crafting jewelry, the prices fluctuate alot.
  24. Maybe you could range low level slayer tasks? (mazchna/vannaka slayer tasks) easy slayer points :P Just an idea that just popped into my head, I'm sure there are plenty of better ways to do it. ranging blue dragons for example, wouldnt be bad at all.
  25. I know how to watch a topic, i meant how do i keep the watched topics box set to topics, instead of forums :o
