Mith Drag Hunting
It's a gamble. nobody really knows what the drop rate of DFH is. You really should get pack yaks, They should make a big difference, as you'll be able to bank those mith bars effectively. With your stats you really should be able to take down ~ 40 mithril dragons per hour I'd say that if the drop rate of the DFH is 1/1000, it'll be worth it.

Most Gp/Hr Boss Hunting
1200 hour dry streak? what are the odds of that happening, like 1-2% i believe? that's rough dude :P I'd say armadyl is definitely up there, but ultimately truly valuable boss drops take luck or time.

Taking a Break
A lot of people have said that before but i've also heard from others at one point and time that it doesnt so im not 100% sure on this. never heard confirmation on MTK freezing or not. In my past experiences, I have not noticed MTK freezes. It may have been a recent update though.

most definitely, so long as you use a clan chat

Overloads
never gamble everything you have, ever unless of course it's one of those card games where you can rig it so you always win but i'm pretty sure you don't know any magical way of owning corp beast, or you wouldn't be asking this :P

Cheap Herblore Training
Too bad you have to manually gather the nightshade at like 120 an hour. Don't do this method. nothing inherently wrong with the nightshade method, it's a great thing to do while fletching/alching too and if the market is right, it can net you alot of profit.

Herblore help
plain energy potions are your best bet, 10 mil will get you to lvl 73

22-Mar-2010 - Fish Flingers
When's the last update that actually impacted your bank space? The new Dragith-Ur helmet went straight into my costume room. Nothing else has really been introduced that added much more of anything. anywhoo are those medals really that hard to get? They all seem like accomplish X feat kind of things, and it's just a matter of getting good at the game for it. I'd imagine things would get a lot easier after a guide comes out.

Chinning Nechraeyls
I never found nechyrael chinning all that good There are only 7 spawns, and the summons tend to get in the way of the nechyraels, preventing you from getting all 7 nechs in one place at times. I still find melee much faster, although I do use overloads/turmoil. but at 80 ranged, I definitely would not use chins on nechs.

lets say I put cooking gauntlets into my tackle box, would that allow me to acquire a new set of gauntlets? =D?

Mobilising armies
Huh if this really does work out in 8 minutes, it's probably the best method out there :P otherwise I'd go with a clan chat or light unit suicide. Heavy units just aren't quite so good at dying to cannons from personal experience. oh and: PFFFT there is as much strategy to mobilising armies as there is to rock paper scissors.

New Skill Tomorrow??
firstly, even if it is not your idea, you reposted it and said that you agreed with his thoughts. You really should have amended that second part, or at least spent a little effort distancing yourself from the repost than you did. either way, inevitably people are going to flame you if you don't. It's how most forums work, live, learn, and get pissed about it somewhere else. -anyways- I wanted to get that out of the way I'm going to side with Qeltar here, since nobody else is. look, all of his reasons are very logical, but they still cannot hope to scratch the surface of many possible reasons Jagex could have for releasing a skill. and frankly while providing good reasons, the post itself does a poor job of addressing doubts. While logical in its own right, it does not have much more logic than many other propositions mentioned on RSOF threads all the time. The poster makes a good case that tomorrow would be a good, in fact nearly ideal time to release the new skill. But from my personal experience as a merchanter, each time I bet my money on something like that, I tend to lose. That's why I don't bet my money on these things anymore. just because tomorrow is a better than average day to release the skill, doesn't make me believe that there is more than a 5% chance of the skill being released tomorrow or the following week. things like these simply aren't meant to be predicted. If the poster does happen to gloat over it because he just happened to be correct, then he's an idiot.

SGS vs Enhanced Excalibur
Even with overloads + turmoil and lvl 94 attack, I found that EE > SGS @ mithril dragons, just due to their massive defences. otherwise I'd say SGS is better for pretty much everything else of lesser defence. Granted I still don't use one.

SS vs Whip
[quote name='tehsengir' date='22 March 2010 - 01:08 AM' timestamp='1269234504' post='4171807' Im 85 str/att/def at the moment. If you're not going to be using extreme potions/overloads/piety, I'd go with SS assuming money is no issue

SS vs Whip
I don't understand why he said that a godsword would be faster, can't imagine that would actually be the case. but the ferocious ring would benefit the SS much more than an abyssal whip. whip/defender is about +7% max average damage higher, ignoring accuracy cant say much more about the accuracy difference though. Whip/defender doesn't miss much in the first place if you are on slayer task, turmoiling, and using extreme pots. anyway my personal assumption (unfounded in any research what so ever) is that if you have high stats, use turmoil, and overloads, go with the whip+ defender, since you massive attack level will buff out any accuracy issues if your stats are lower, go with the SS handsdown

A bunch of questions in one thread.
- nub slaying
thats why i called it nub slaying so mazchana = 4 times faster than vanaka task? mazchna dioesn't need to be 4 times faster. the vast majority of the points your getting will be from the kuradal, not from mazchna/vannaka mazchna-duradel would be 570 points per 50 tasks where as vannaka-Duradel would be 705 points per 50 tasks mazchna doesnt need to be that much faster than vannaka, go with mazchna- Shattered Heart Discussion
how many runs? typically takes me 10-20 herb seeds for a rock. But yes herbs work, however It's not impossible that Mod Maz forgot to add wergalis to the rock list. they forgot gold ores at first afterall.- Shattered Heart Discussion
When was this implemented ? - as far as i know only one piece of ore spawn in each rock at the time no matter how many players trying to mine it at the same time. If it's true (which i doubt) does this also hold true when it comes to mithril and addy ore ? Apparently this was always implemented, except for a short period of time in between RS1 and RS2 in which it was not, due to a bug. runescape game update: June 14th, 2004 I personally never a relationship in the rate at which fishing spots move, and the number of players.- Ice SKytrewyrms
I won't advise you on inventory equipment but: 1 wolpertinger + 30 scrolls per hour and about 7-9 prayer potions(4) per hour, depending on prayer bonus and what not runes for 800-1200 fire surge casts per hour Dunno about how accurate spells are against ice wyrms, So I can't exactly tell you if you're better off wearing prayer boosters as opposed to certain magical items nor would I know much of anything about staff of light + battle robe combos besides them saving 65% of your runes or what not.- Brew - Restore Ratio with Overloads at Bandos
uh I can't say personally because I've never done a GWD ever before You could manually calculate the drain rate of prayer. But i guess you wouldn't keep all prayers active at all times but this is how i calculate for slayer tasks: protection/deflection prayers drain 1 point every 3 seconds at +0 prayer bonus piety drains 1 point every 1.8 seconds at +0 prayer bonus soul split/turmoil drain 1 point every 2 seconds at +0 prayer bonus. the prayer drain rate is a factor (1 + prayer bonus/30) at +30 prayer bonus, your prayer drain rate is 1/2 that of a +0 prayer bonus at +15 prayer bonus, your prayer drain rate is 1/1.5 that of a +0 prayer bonus and you can figure out how many ppoints you get per dose edit: whoops misread- Cheaper/Whicher 99: Smith or Herb?
smithing is cheaper by far It can be faster too, depending on the method. The only things you should consider training smithing with should be smelting/superheating of gold ores with gloves and addy arrows/platebodies with SC hammers I would recommend NOT sticking to a single potion pick what potion you are going to make based on the prices. Picking the potions you will make now, without knowing what prices will be later, is like shooting yourself in the foot saradomin brews and prayer potions are also very common and popular potions to make. Going with the crowd, when it comes to herblore, is also like shooting yourself in the foot prayer potions and sara brews currently will set you back about 320-400 mil for 70 -> 99. You'll wanna find something cheaper. - nub slaying
