Why does anything? More specifically, why does Rants exist? Of course it sounds like it would work in theory, but nearly every thread just boils down to a competition to see who is the most intellectually superior by using piss-poor arguments with either big words sprinkled on top of them or a smug sense of unfounded certainty derived from closed-mindedness (aka "commonsense"). It's really hard to bring a dragon dagger, full black hide and some cheap magic robes isn't it? It's also really easy to get frozen through that pr0 mage defence and then clawrushed for no reason whatsoever Then is it really hard to bring clue, spade and a meerkat and its scrolls? BA horns and whatever course you feel comfortable with until you can use wilderness one. Werewolf course and agility pyramid have the best avg xp per hour, but it's all up to you. Pretty sure you stop failing at 75 in ape atoll course.

Which Family Crest guy? I talked with the Varrock Family crest guy Jonathon (he didn't have anything to say) and the father of the family (he had nothing to say either). I have strong feeling this quest is broken. I even tried to destroy the shield of arrav and the list and get new ones.. Not helping. I talked to the advisor of the king and he said something, which triggered the correct line with the family crest dude.

I freaking hate mercenary leaders. I waste 144 points of prayer and 47 bouldabasses for what? To die just when he is about to, after getting barraged with rapid 200+ hits. Not to mention how they entangled me and kept lowering my stats. Also, it always just has to be the level 203 one... and I am level 107... I also don't understand this: You can't move while entangled, but you can enter a door. And the fact that I was already pretty angry, because nothing on my computer won't install isn't helping... :thumbdown:

Some guides regarding that quest are incorrect for some reason This guide here worked for me. My suggestion is to reset it and follow those instructions. I too came to a dead end when I did that quest using tip.it guide.
