i'm gonna check out this new miniquest right now and i just checked - the new goblin potion gives 85 exp - which is 5 exp more than agil pots - but that's too small to train on. :( darn.

I used the altar before the miniquest oh really? ;p oops - didn't try it after the boss fight just before.

In the last hour of hunter i've gotten 1 MOM and 5 MOM - mystery box things!! 5!!!! i like random events, but now mysterious boxes.

after this miniquest can you now use the altar in the temple?

Anybody know what the altar in the temple does? (I used my last potion up) and yeah And you didn't even need to know the value of Pi to solve it. that was a good puzzle - easy tho - but funny seeing everybody flip out when they coulden't figure it out lol. Nope - that's what it USED (as of a couple of weeks ago) and recently they changed it to have a time delay - i think it's about 30 secs but i'm not sure.

Like seriously what's next? people complaining for murder when you kill a mugger (lvl 6)?

I wonder if the people are against killing the dogs in the game are against killing the guards in varrock...or each other in the dual arena/wildy. I mean they're pretty much like yeah we can kill each other but not animals? and anyway they respawn!

You have just owned everyone who hates this update :thumbsup: lol yep he sure did. I love the update - i've never been scammed but I do "trust trades" quite often with crafting (like when i get a dragonstone and want it into an ammy). now it's exactly the same but no risk in getting scammed

Hey man there ofcourse needs to be humour - but there's other ways of being funny other than puns! I mean once in a while's cool - like bad puns can be good right? but when it's 5 bad puns per quest.... that's lame. I think they should still be humerous but ACTUALLY humurous - like stuff like the guard in fally dying - or stuff like "i always eat lobsters i don't know why" and stuff like that right?

and by the way you guys - as of right now and according to the rs pole: 13684 people are scared of the bad puns in rs what?

Aww I'm sad this got moved to rants - my post was a joke lol! And yeah i'm not gonna lie I did laugh at one pun out loud for like a minute the other day. It was in the path of glouphrie -something about "the gravity of the situation" lol :D But yeah you guys have to admit to this though: the puns are excessive! i mean there's other forms of comedy! jokes, sarcasm, satire (what my thread was supposed to be but obviously failed miserably lol)

I'm sick of the puns in the quests. Like seriously. EVERY quest has puns. Some quests are even based upon puns! A brief history of puns in runescape: I remember the first quest in miscellania. That quest was ALL puns and you know what - it was actually funny! But for some reason jagex (or should i say "lamex") thought it would be sweet to make all the quests from then on to be the same way! Since then - they've added puns EVERYWHERE in EVERY quest! They've even made full quests that ARE puns ( "A hand in th e sand" and "My arm's big adventure" Some really bad puns Now the worst part about pungex's puns is that they're terrible! Like look at these puns from the end of "back to my roots". They are TERRIBLE! Now I thought those puns were bad - until i did the hand in the sand miniquest: And then the worst of them all: In the funeral the gnome wizard says: "rest in pieces". and then they say something about not having both feet of the wizard and then you say: That doesn't even make sense! Overall, the puns are ruining the quests! would it hurt Jagex to give up on the puns? The puns are predictable and lame (how many times do you need say "need a hand?" in the hand in the sand quest? IT'S NOT FUNNY). Put some effort in the comedy in your quests. Jagex is so punny. EDIT: (changed my screw up above) and according to the rs polls: 13684 people are scared of the bad puns in rs.

I bought mine for 100k wayy back so i think i'd make a good prophet if i ever sold it :P

Wow - didn't know people actually got caught doing it. I used to do it - and i thought it was a stupid rule - now i never will again

I can catch 28 sharks with my hand without getting it ripped to pieces, cook them in seconds - and eat all 28 of them in under a minute and still be hungry for more.

They need SMART skills - like slayer. Jagex realized - people are only training in the best training spots -how can we get them to train everywhere? slayer. something SMART or something FUN (like hunter - it's fun more than anything)

Man I laughed for the first time for something real out loud from a quest today! LIke burst into laughter on my comp lol. Like sometimes I laugh at how bad a joke is but this time it was legit! it was in "the path of glouphrie" it was something like this gnome: "i'm searching for the edge of the world" Smavey: "what if the world was a sphere - there'd be no edges" gnome: "if it were a sphere we would roll off silly" Smavey: "well what if the sphere is so big that it looks flat when on it and there's a magical force that holds us down" gnome: "well i don't seem to see the gravity of this argument - i'm going to find the edge of the world!" Lol go jagex
