Hi! I have some new info about the elite black knights They count as 10 black knight kills towards being a white knight champion!! so only 140 are needed to be killed as apposed to 1400!!

Today I got a couple compliments on my cape: the first time anybody has ever complimented on it ever!

Yeah the boss in dream mentor is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY harder than the boss for WGS. Was kinda a let down.

Lol i have had a quest cape since achievement capes came out and most my skills are around 60 lol. Yeah i'm a noob.

So I just beat it and anyway here are my thoughts. The quest was average. I thought the puzzles were pretty straightforward and actually borderline really easy. And I thought the quest was a good length. And the biggest let down to me was the final boss. It was a joke. I mean I had a LOT of trouble beating the final boss to recepe for disaster and dream mentor, but this one was a JOKE! I used 4 monkfishes!! That's it!! I'm like lvl 100 combat and i had a tortoise helping me out and anyway those things must have INSANE defence because the guthix balance elemental didn't even scratch it! Anyway the elemental pretty much only attacked my turtle so that's why it was so easy, but it died really fast. And the demons were just fun :D (hitting 120s is a good feeling :D) And now for the rewards. HOLY !!!!!!!!!! I can't even explain how i'm feeling right now. I went from 68-73 summoning aka i can finally have an ex ex parrot! And....i just got 13 mill for my dragon piece.....I have rarely had over 1 mill in my existence in rs so I don't even know what to do with money like this!! I'm in shock kind of. I mean...i already bought a whip....maybe i'll get some new armour other than full rune lol. Maybe a santa hat? But yeah the reward was nuts. and i'm SO MAD i dropped that stupid elite armour! :@ :@ ...that's 6 mill i just wasted....( i still have my dorg ones...should i sell them or hold on to them for the sequel?)

I just went from 68-73 summoning (400k exp!) hehehe :D SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW!!!!!

ARGHHH! This quest is frustrating. In the catacombs i dropped one of my pairs of elite black armour and there's no way to get more....except buy them from people. Anyway i have put max on all of it in the GE for a day now and it's not buying.....sooo. Someone want to lend me a pair of elite black armour? I really just need it for half an hour. PM me or add me in game : rsn = smavey. I will love you forever :D

Wow alright thanks guys. Anyway if anybody wants to do a good deed and help out a fellow tifer and if you guys trust me could someone sell me some armour and then i will sell it back to you once i'm done the quest? My rsn is smavey. I'm guessing this will take about another hour or two?

Hey so i'm doing the new quest - while guthix sleeps -anyway in the catacombs when i got my second pair of elite black armour i thought it was a waste of inv space (had no idea they were worth anything!!) And anyway so it turns out I need two pairs of elite black armour and I only have one and i've tried everything to get a second pair and nothing seems to work? So does anybody know how I can get another pair of armour so i can beat this quest? I killed the warriors around the catacombs for about an hour and got nothing....so i'm thinking i'm going to have to waste a lot of money to get a pair :@ :@ :@ :@

I totally disagree. Although running around grabbing things is annoying and it would be funner to read a guide for that aspect of quests, by reading a guide you miss out on the role playing quests. I'm really bad at explaining this, but doing quests in my opinion is all about this: not knowing what to expect and going on an adventure. Having an adventure is what quests are about- like having unique experiences, finding out hidden things, getting really really lost and confused in a new area, killing a boss with only a sliver of hp, and being stuck for hours, are just few of the things you get by doing quests without a guide. The struggles of quests make runescape, not the story line. How can you get engulfed in a story if you've already read an abridged version online and know exactly what items you're going to need! Here are some memories of questing without a guide - I remember spending at least 3 days doing regicide, getting extremly lost, exploring the whole elf lands and killing bunnies for food -I remember spending a week in ape atol trying to beat monkey madness. I was jailed over 50 times LOL. What a quest!! I was litterally shaking by the time it was over. -I remember doing desert treasure without a guide - going to each boss at least 5 or 6 times each to suicide it, just to see what it's weaknesses were. -I remember beating the boss to dream mentor with 1 hp left (and no prayer). Was amazing. -And my one of my best memories in rs: Mourning's end part 2. This quest took me a week of playing for hours and hours every day. To beat it I actually had to take a break from the computer and physically draw out the last puzzle to solve it. Figuring out this ridicoulous puzzle took hours (and I was very tempted to look at a guide for the answer). Anyway i wear my quest cape proudly knowing I worked for it. And yeah I don't care if you use a guide or not - quests can be very long if you don't use them- but the quest cape is a symbol of being a master quester. If you read instructions on how to beat each quest or boss, I don't think you deserve to wear it.

Yep confirming this. With riods2525 you can get it done in 20-40 minutes usually (depending on many things). You HAVE to be in world 60 though, or you will get kicked.

Yep that's what I do. Or actually I'm suprised nobody's mentioned this: Hot air balloons. It's way easier than using the skill neclace and only 10 seconds longer. Take a hot air balloon from CW and then use the duel ring to get back. Maples are pennies anyway.

Yep i've been doing this since i got the costumes. MAN! Distractions and diversions OWN!! So much free and fast exp a week. I've gotten a few magic and ranged lvs from the circus, and 8 summoning lvls from the penguins lol

High detail also rocks if you're doing other things online. I won't show a picture but say i'm doing somehting like making potions, in high detail and by adjusting how the screen is I can play rs with a small square strip about as wide as 1/8th of my computer screen (where in this square all i can see is the bank and my inventory and a bit of the chat box. So i can do other stuff while on the comp :D

10/10 The score is okay, but....i have never seen someone get them all before! This is really impressive! I didn't know it was even possible to get this!!! I mean i've seen people get the first 3 ones (happens to be me some of the time), but those games i always only have 1 or 2 kills! Good job!

Yeah freestyle is the way to go. I've NEVER used a quest guide (and i have a quest cape) I know it takes way more time but to me quests are my favorite part in the game and are SO much more fun when you do them with no help at all. At least most of them are.

Wow!! I just played the minigame for a few hours and it's really FUN!! I love it. But i'm sad i just got 60-70 smithing before this update, but i'll keep raising it now.

I'm gonna try this out thursday night. THe game seems fun, and the MITH BAR EXP....that looks really imba..... but yeah a question: how hard is it to get the tools? and how long do they last for? (how many mith bars can you make with one tool)?

I have almost all the outfits....makes circus kinda useless now! Other than like 5k quick range exp a week - that's about it

I'm p2p and i'm constantly using this ring :D. It makes farming a lot better, the low alch is nice in training, and the run boost i use every day i play - so yeah it's the best ring imo.

I like the old way WAYYY better. I miss checking every monday and tuesday for updates - it's all i really do in rs now
