I'm not saying teenagers are more mature than adults, although teenagers are more mature than kids in some ways, almost all the flame/spam in RS and the RSOF are from the teenagers.

True. Its just your personal preference. I'm not too rich because I'm f2p so I rarely train "effectively" by mass-buying raw materials, but I just gather the stuff myself. But its just my opinion.

While I was doing Dragon Slayer, I bought a rune warhammer to kill Elvarg but forgot to bring it and did just fine with a rune scimitar. Waste of money lol...

Apparently someone didn't realize that teenagers are immature too. Adulthood begins at 18, maturation is completed at age 25. I'm talking about people over 25 here. (dragon spear and zamorakian spear) -You cant really base your argument on just stats and speed; perhaps you should test it -Why do you care if your f2p, and how do you know? -I still dont see how adding more powerful weapons would balance the whip out. That would just make all 3 equally common and nothing would be changed. This would also make melee more powerful because there would be more monsters dropping each of the 3 monsters thus making them more common and less expensive. Ok don't focus on those stupid weapons. I couldn't care less about them. Isn't it plain obvious that the whip+defender is overpowered because it has the highest dps even though it is not rare? So what about the stupid ss? Sure, it is best for training strength, but you don't need to train strength in pking, so it is useless compared to whip+defender.

So, compfreak, you're actually supporting the fact that slashing weapons (aka ye olde whip and scimitar) are overpowered but you don't believe that they can be changed so stab/slash/crush weapons all have a specific use in certain situations?

Simple: Don't boost melee and boost mage and/or ranged. Who cares if the whip makes fight more exciting? So what? Melee is already powerful enough to be "exciting". And something being exciting is just your opinion. You might find "A" interesting and exciting and I might find it not so. And btw, you saying "mage needs a serious boost" doesn't reflect in the weapons.

Making it tradeable wouldn't bring life back into smithing, a rich noobs will just buy a bunch of those weapons and armor and own people totally.

Prove to me that the dps of a whip+rune defender combo is not the highest then. Because it can train strength and it can use Crush attack, which is invaluable at Waterfiends. It doesn't compare on normal situations, but it has its uses. Add that with the fact that the whip is more common and you have the answer as to why the SS and ZS cost more. True, it can train strength, but some other weapons like Dragon Scimitar+defender are almost as effective as it in training strength. So, it costs more because it is rarer, but even though it is rarer, it is weaker?? What!! P.S. Don't tell me party hat is rarer but is rubbish in combat.

They indeed have a use against certain npc monsters, but how RARE are they??? And BTW, you can make the weapons equal in dps on a unarmored person, but having different dps on different kinds of armor types.

The problem is plate armor having an extremely minor difference in stats in crush accuracy and slash accuacy. This should change totally. The slash/stab defence should increase greatly and the crush defence should reduce a lot.

How come magic has to hybrid to pk effectively if ranged/melee doesn't have to??????? (I'm not saying melee/ranged can't hybrid/is not good in hybriding, they don't NEED to hybrid whereas mage needs to hybrid to be effective.)

The cost is still high for the power you can't disagree about that. I'm not saying magic is weak, but its cost is incredible. Yes, magic owns if you team (only if your team is good, though) as the meleers can protect you.
