Resistance 2 was a disappointment in many ways so I'm pessimistic. If they go back to how the first game was it will be a lot better.

CoD4 if you don't already have it. Or wait for Black Ops but bear in mind it could turn out a complete mess either on launch or a few months after it. If Reach is annoying you I wouldn't get BFBC2, when starting out you are at a massive disadvantage which leads to a lot of frustration.

Some guy rage kicked me out of Firefight when he jet packed straight into my rocket (Rocketfight). I don't see the point of having friendly fire on in a mode like that. Also another niggle in Firefight is that some Elites were able to get into the spawning zone on Corvette and spawnkilled my team 3 or 4 times. How do you take control of a wraith? I can see one guy is exposed but how do you kill the second guy?

Post games that NEVER got a sequel, not games that already have a sequel confirmed that you really want to play <_< Portal 2 coming out very soon, Battlefront 3 confirmed in the works, Elder Scrolls 5 in the works, and Kingdom Hearts 3 been confirmed for over a year...... U mad bro? Its not made clear on the front page that its just for games that never got sequels, in fact it says So you can talk about games that got crap sequels as well.

Just started playing online and I love how stupid people are making their SPARTANs look. I hope they have this kind of customisation in the next CoD. I think its a real shame you can't customise your Elite though as they look really badass, and you're going to be playing as them like half the time online so its a shame theres so much for the SPARTANs, but for the Elites you can only pick from like 5 preset bodys.

I couldn't sign in last night, but I didn't download any system updates. Come to think of it that might be why I couldn't sign in. These stupid little system updates are starting to get annoying, can't they prioritise getting a party chat system out instead of crap like 3D?

Yeah Battlefront 3 would be great, I think they were talking about it but then it just turned out to be some crappy PSP spin off or something or they made that Lord of the Rings Conquest game instead. A sequel to CoD4 made by the company that all the Infinity Ward employees joined would be amazing if they can sort out the legal issues. A Resident Evil 5 with an option to play completely alone, or a RE6 with that option. Rome Total War 2 would be good as well as a new "Total Warrior" which I'm surprised was never made into a series. Also a new Star Wars Rogue Squadron maybe, and a sequel to Lord of the Rings: The Third Age. A new Age of Empires going back to the gameplay of the 1st and 2nd would be pretty awesome.

Years and years ago in school we had to watch this ancient tv documentary about video game violence and the main thing they were talking about was Carmaggedon, as it was made way before stuff like Manhunt. Basically I think they made a bunch of people play Carmaggedon and then tested their agressiveness or something.

Yeah, but its executed really well, with really cinematic moments. Probably the best levels are the 2 set in a photo-realistic Chernobyl. Basically it doesn't reinvent the wheel, but its intelligently plotted and paced. With MW2 they basically just threw all that out the window and tried to fill it with as much crazy action and gadgets as they could without thinking about how bad the plot turned out in the end. Basically MW2 is CoD4's Phantom Menace.

In MW2 the only times I saw people using TIs for things other than boosting were for doing things like getting up on the Highrise roof, which is just plain irritating even if its not glitching/boosting. Or just putting them so that they spawned behind everyone giving them easy spawnkills. So really even the legitimate uses of TIs are detrimental to the fun of the online, so I can see absolutely no reason for keeping them. People have different opinions on stuff like killstreaks but I don't think anybody likes TIs apart from boosters or the kind of [wagon] who like to do stuff like get into that spot on Highrise, the little shelf above the main room, and camp and spawnkill.

CoD MW2 campaign had some good moments but was ultimately just a load of bollocks. The ending was laughable. CoD4s was not only superior in terms of actual gameplay but also in its believability and storytelling. We've got kids on the MW2 thread who are 14, when the games rated 18. Though to be fair it only got the 18 rating because of the stupid airport scene.

How does Legendary compare to CoD4 Veteran? To me thats pretty much the standard to judge the difficulty of FPSs. If you wanted to play firefight in splitscreen (2 people) can you have 2 AI allies?
