Once again Toad is correct with his guesses. Thank god the crashing and stuff is over with RS. Though the new hiscores is still hella glitchy. Sure is. Highscores still show 300k smith exp too low for me. (and we all know Toad is j staff, no? :rolleyes: )

Well, my highscore shows 3,999,915 xp.... And my adventure log shows 4,282,545 xp (correct)... seems highscores and advent log: 1) arent linked 2) out of synch Friends of me (that are online) have the same, yet some have higher exp on their highscores than on their adv log. Seems jagex is totally messing up again!

Clear as always and I would gladly pay 1 Pound extra a month to hire some guys that actually check quality....

So no one else lost experience? Cause I did. Lost over 200k smithing experience, from the 2,5-3 hours I was smelting gold ores while systems were going down...

Seriously, the ranters on rsof are absolutely correct and they have every right to be angry, we're all paying afterall. Come up with ideas ? Why bother, jagex won't listen, besides there are plenty of great suggestions in the "how would you catch bots" thread and i also posted mine there. It just pisses me off that Jagex is trying to make it look like they're doing something, but they're not doing enough. They should save us from the [cabbage] and admit that they have no real bot detection systems. It probably is extremely hard to detect bots and i believe that drastic changes need to be made. I would pay extra, if Jagex needed the extra money to combat botting. It would be even better if they stopped updating the game for a while and focused every resource on combating cheating instead. //haha, and yes, it is me, i just changed my display name. Or, make the final decision you don't like the game with all these bots, stop complaining and quit? I enjoy the way it is tbh. I don't play for ranks, I play for my own fun. This is TIF. Less idiots than RSOF, but a few very consistent and persistent trolls. No worry, after some time you know the typical ones by name and learn to ignore them. I know I did.

This. Being cynical is the easy way. I agree the number of bans (5600+ at time of writing) is way too low to actually make a difference, but what if this is going up to a steady 5k bans a day? I mean, say there are 2M botters in the game, than 5k daily could actually make a difference (provided not an equal 5k bots are 'formed' daily). I agree botting is a real big problem, but what would you think are the best solutions to combat this? Complaining is one, coming up with helpful ideas actually contributes something. I'll admit I had to laugh when one guy gained fm 99 right in front of the furnace in edge and just straight continued to light fires... :rolleyes:

I noticed that while I was not playing, but refreshed my highscore (comparing to someone else, to see his progress), that I was going UP in rank. And I am not talking about a few places, but I went up 300 places during ONE day. I.e. minimum 300 people above my total lvl were banned during one day. I call that quite succesful. I hate botters, annoys me to death to see all botters fming and smithing in edge while I smelt my gold ores....

I didnt read everu page, but I knew of a thread that showed that if you had all potions (unf) and ingredients bought that you needed, it would be ppossible to get herblore 1 to 99 in less than 48 hours. So depends a bit on your definition of "easiest" because this would require quite some money to buy all the ingreds beforehand, but once you have it, the skill might actually be the fastest from 1 to 99.

There's a certain amount of randomness involved, but I have mine set to 9 maple logs, and 6 coal. I believe coal is the best non-varying producer, and 9 maple log workers reportedly produces the same number of bird nests as 10. Depending on the seeds you get, it's possible for this to result in either more or less than some other options, but overall it's quite good. The Runescape wiki has an excellent calculator for the different Kingdom options which can be helpful. Last I checked, 9 workers on maples is best if you check it every 7-10 days, otherwise the fractional nest kicks in and 10 maples would be better. But regarding that question, from what I've heard, maples and coal were the best profits atm. yeah, thats what the calculator said, and it gave me some nice profits. Allso got 1 guthix egg, 2 zammy, 4 sara and 2 raven :blink:

So I have maintained coffers and approval for quite some weeks now and I am wondering at this point yeilds best profit? My usual setup is 5 coal, 10 herb, but I am wondering with recent drop in herb prices and other fluctuations what currently would give the highest profit.

Finally an update for Jagex that will be good. well, maybe not good, but better. Also, timewise it reads as if this could take 6+ months easily

That can only mean he anticipates raise to "lvl 120" too. As long as jagex doesn't add content above lvl 99 (not even for dung yet, not counting extra bind) there really is no practical use to increase it, only for the guys that go for "maxed lvl 120's"

:smile: Anyway, quest requirements aren't too steep but ok, drop is uncommon I would say. Bit more common than say whip. Also helps to fight the crabs with the 'dragon rapier', as it seems to hit them much better than whip.
