  1. That can only mean he anticipates raise to "lvl 120" too. As long as jagex doesn't add content above lvl 99 (not even for dung yet, not counting extra bind) there really is no practical use to increase it, only for the guys that go for "maxed lvl 120's"
  2. Anyway, quest requirements aren't too steep but ok, drop is uncommon I would say. Bit more common than say whip. Also helps to fight the crabs with the 'dragon rapier', as it seems to hit them much better than whip.
  3. So do those brackish swords still sell for nice prices or are they beginning to stabilize or even drop?
  4. Good point. Rapier would still be best but Triquos hates dung with a passion so I read  Good luck with your goal!
  5. If jagex thought like this, the updates would have hit endgame levels long ago. Why must everything be better? Can't it just be different? I am not P2P anymore so I can't do this quest, but from the sounds of most of the comments here, it's a good quest and it'll be on my to-do list for the next time I'm P2P. Totally agree. Quests are for puns, nice cutscenes, unique gameplay. Those elements are unique to quests and the reason I love quests. Quests and slayer were the main reasons I became p2p 4 years ago anyway and I still enjoy pretty much every quest!
  6. I liked the quest mainly for the puns and funny dialogues, but also for the unique gameplay. B52-seagull was very cool, I didn't mind that controls were a bit slow but it took some getting used to. And a genuine naval battle in rs? That was funny. Easy, but funny :shades:
  7. just got my 2nd brackish sword. So 2,5 hours: 2 swords for me so far. Im hoping we get more underwater areas, making brine and brackish more of an advantage even. Also, love the idea of the underwater dungeon. Actually made sense in the quest, not like jagex only tried to force dung into quests... EDIT: and no. 3 in 3 hours time. not bad, now off to sell them :)
  8. 'Rum'-pumped crab just dropped me an effigy  EDIT2: got my first brackish blade, after 1,5 hours... hopefully they come quicker now lol I can also confirm they hit much better on the crabs than my whip did.
  9. killed quite some, none yet. Maybe sorta same drop rate as brine sabre...
  10. I guess the monsters in the new rum'geon drop them. only the zombies or also the crabs? Had some rune claws from crabs btw
  11. You will find out. We're still waiting on something from Jagex. Lol more riddles <_<
  12. Is it just me or is looking at the (new..? old..?) beginning of this thread an epic trip down memory lane?!
  13. Yeah like I got one single charm from rock lobs...
  14. Haha, what's that? : P The group of people who respect how you train and want you to max out first :D Btw Paperbag, at 120 dung a dragonkin lamp is 85k exp in dung :D meaning you only need 1160 effigies or so... <_<
  15. I guess that can be it. Also, the point of his post is the timer I think. 13 mins for large is well... not bad?
  16. This is ROW affecting my elite: Too bad its crashing still but I am positive it will go back up soon.
  17. Have done desert wyrms, jungle wyrms, greater demons and now on abyssal demons. Have not seen a single rare drop yet. So, I guess it is not that common as people are trying to make this look like.
  18. Ok. I doyn't think purely theoretical assumptions belong here. Point is, in reality there is no chance to win, not even in the long term, if the odds are against you.
  19. Dude, really. I have no clue what you are rambling on about. "statistics....unrealistic asssumption" wut "exciting contradicting medical researchs" wut.. never mind, I am pretty convinced from what I have seen from your posts so far that you will not ever be able to explain what you mean. Let me rephrase that: ...that I will ever be able to understand what you are saying.
  20. Oh dear lord, please follow a course on statistics. You are so wrong. Which I guess answers the question from the topic starter...: yes, people are that stupid. Statistics? ...if you following statistics you are always on the winning side... I hope you are talking about the people that host now.
  21. Got what I want and more: 83 -> 85 farm (5 mins) 99 -> 99 herb (only took 1:45 hours with overloads lol) 89 -> 91 thieving (for last floor of pyramid, effigies and dung chests) 75 -> 80 firemaking (don't like the skill, but meh, I had some time left and had accomplished all goals I set already) Overall, not a bad weekend with 12 skill levels, 1 new cape.
  22. Meh, joining in on the latest trend. Good thing was I bought all supplies right after September's BEW so it actually cost me minimum (and made money selling some torstols back cause I got scroll of cleansing)... Levels for this BEW: farm 83 -> 85 (first 5 mins) herb 96 -> 99 (took 1:45 hours, ovls are crazy fast) thieving 89 -> 91 (good for those effigies, up to 95 now) firemaking 75 -> 80 *hate the skill
  23. Oh dear lord, please follow a course on statistics. You are so wrong. Which I guess answers the question from the topic starter...: yes, people are that stupid.
  24. That. And other stories, pics are always so much fun to see. Plus, it might encourage more people to bet next year so all for the best
