For the record sees, the tax benefits for married couples with kids really aren't all that great. At least not here in Canada anyway. Well, unless you're poor in which case it really doesn't matter if you're married, only that you have kids. When I was married my ex didn't work but I couldn't claim her as a dependent, and I made too much money so we didn't qualify for any of the federal or provincial tax rebates. I actually get more back as a single guy then I did while married with two kids. Where exactly are these tax incentives you keep going on about?

Oppressive communist societies do better than free capitalist ones, do they? :P All societies have their positive and negative sides, and none of them work the way they're supposed to. To get back on topic, I'd meant to mention this when I posted earlier but forgot. I'm in favor of polygamous marriages but only it that also means that women can have more than one husband. Typically people seem to automatically think this is something only men would do.

So does that make a heterosexual marriage where one or both partners are infertile less of a marriage than one where they can have kids? What if a couple chooses not to have kids? You really can't define marriage based on whether or not they can have children.

Probably a combination of that, and people who let their membership expire and were removed from the hiscores.

Found out today that for the first time in my 8 years here my work is going to be closed on Good Friday instead of Easter Monday. Initially I thought this was going to completely throw off my plans for the weekend. Fortunately, my ex hadn't made plans for Monday and my mom is okay with moving Easter dinner back a day.
