  1. I think this might be one of the most popular introductory threads for a new member ever. =D>
  2. Agreed. That's why I'm having so much fun with the EoC (Yes, I am. Don't look so surprised. :P). It's like starting over again with combat, trying to figure out what works and what doesn't. Only this time, I have a much wider support base than just my friend who got me hooked in the first place.
  3. If there's anybody I would want making sure he's 100% comfortable before doing his job, it's a pilot. ;) Don't worry, confidence will come with experience and repetition. Focus on doing it not only properly, but the same way every time and it will become automatic. When you no longer have to think about most of what you do, you'll be a lot more sure of yourself. I had the same problem the first couple of years I did my job as well, even though I was better at it than most everyone around me. Now I'm a cocky sob. :P
  4. Congratulations!
  5. Generally, several outlets are run on a single circuit (nearly all the outlets on the ground floor of my house are split between two 15A breakers, with another one for upstairs and one for the basement), with the exceptions Randox mentioned above. And yes, each plug in an outlet will be on the same circuit (with exceptions for certain industrial applications); you'll rarely find otherwise in a house. Personally, I tend to avoid plugging power bars into other power bars to try and avoid overloading the outlet but it sounds like the second one is only running chargers so it shouldn't be an issue. An overloaded outlet is a fire hazard, especially if you have old aluminum wiring. Nowadays electronics are pretty stable on power usage though, so I wouldn't worry about it. You'll know when you're overloading the circuit when lights dim or the breaker trips.
  6. Yep, it's working properly now. Thanks. :)
  7. Lol. I thought it looked familiar.

More software upgrades today. Well, follow-up calls for defective CPU boards from the first round. The funny thing is, I'm still riding around with another tech but he's not certified for this equipment. So he's been playing games on his phone pretty much all day, "complaining" about how hard he's working.
  9. I've been having the same problem. I'm using Safari on an iPhone 4s running iOS 6.0.1.
  10. I think it's just going to take some getting used to. I'm kind of excited for it. It's been a looooooooong time since there was so much I was clueless about. It's like being fresh off Tutorial Island again! :D
  11. So the new combat system looks pretty interesting. I flew through the combat academy, and I think I've got at least a basic grip on it now. I'm going to have to get back into training combat again though, as my Ranged level is no longer high enough to wield/wear all the F2P gear. :( Oh well, at least the xp books from the academy gave me two more Prayer levels... [hide=61 Prayer] [/hide] [hide=62 Prayer] [/hide] ...and almost got me another one. If I'd had two more books I'd have gotten 63 as well. Still, that's a lot of bones I didn't have to bury so I'm not complaining. :) Anybody have any thoughts on what the best things for me to train Ranged would be? Because of my level, I'll be using Maple Shortbow with Mithril and lower arrows. I've heard Lesser Demons are now good for F2P ranged, but I'm not sure what level I should be to fight them.
  12. The guide that just wouldn't die! Long live the tub! :P Edit: page two baby! There's a lot of people in this tub. ;)

Yeah, it's generally a good idea to assume the user is an idiot. If there's a way to screw something up, they'll always find it.
  14. Thanks. I was thinking more for melee than ranged, but it looks like the blue vembraces would still be the best choice. Especially now that the Stronghold boots/gloves no longer have any stats worth mentioning.
  15. Wouldn't the extra armor and lifepoints bonuses from the Batwing boots more than offset the fact that they're magic? btw - what gloves would you recommend for people who don't have charged rune gaunts? Batwing again?
  16. And probably doing a damn sight better at it than I am right now. :P
  17. Welcome to TIF! :) We may seem crazy, but it's a good kind of crazy. :P
  18. I actually made it! I can hardly believe it. [hide=86 Runecrafting] [/hide] I finished the comp with a total of 3,007,557xp gained in two weeks. \:D/ Now I'm going to go check out this new combat system everyone is talking about.
  19. Even cookie cutter movies can be fun diversions. :P Speaking of which, I watched Goldfinger today for the umpteenth time. I can't say for sure why, but it's always been my favorite Bond movie.
  20. Doesn't Jagex announce when they ban people for RWT? I always thought that's why it was okay to list their names, since they'd officially been outed. ...sorry to derail things even further here.
  21. The environment looks pretty good for how limited the tech and their programming skills were back then.
