  1. Ok what if you did something kinda like this angle, except with one of your uber leet fonts...? Actually though arial doesn't look to bad here... And then throw in something instead of that arrow, I just put it there... just cuz... ha.
  2. Nice contradiciton..... I suggest you actually do what everyone else does and actually shade pixel by pixel. It looks like you drew some lines, and magic-wand-ed the area, and filled it with a gradient. For water, look at some reference. There are lots of extreme highlights and reflections.
  3. This is what I was able to do in about 30minutes. Keep in mind I have never really done this before. Don't be too harsh. Haha. I was going to finish it up today but I had other projects I had to work on. (And that I should be working on right now.)
  4. would look cool with some 3d text
  5. I used Punkage's mage.... why waste time coloring what has already been done so well? :D
  6. I was coloring it today at school... I post the result tomorrow when I go back...
  7. It's very simple animation and it's done in ImageReady... Try looking for some tutorials on Google... It's very simple.
  8. Aren't you guys all listing styles? Digital, Oil on canvas, scratchboard, etc are "media".

    Or did you mean perspective.
  10. GOOD ANYTHING////11!!! As if we would be visually attracted to art if it wasn't good?

The game is horrible don't waste your time.
  12. Can I enter a 10 second animation of some lipstick I modeled a while ago? Does that count as one piece?
  13. It lacks visual appeal and it definitely isn't good enough to be posted 3 times.

I was just noting that the second ripple looks more like a tidal wave because of how the highlights were placed. But now that I look at the first one, I agree that they are pretty nifty. 8)
  15. Hurts my eyes... I agree with most of the above points.... Just doesn't seem to be anything recognizable; and therefore special. For some reason green things hurt my eyes... (my eyes hurting has nothing to do with your talent)

I think the ripple on the second one is a bit better, but it's too severe... Make them less extreme? Less vibrant highlights and shadows... Looks good though. You have that innate skill the rest of us wish we had. :?
  17. Ehh... soon as I decide on 2 more things to enter.... I haven't had time to make new pieces like I had originally intended... So I'm just going to enter old ones.
  18. Face is a bit too hard to see.. even though that's probably what you were going for...
  19. I like them... no real crits... Maybe increase the saturation of your highlights, instead of just plain white... Might make it look stronger, who knows... Depends what you put on top of it I guess...

That's cool, I like the style. How would it look with a fresher background? Like a pale green?
  21. Sure. I really like the composition. The angle is awesome. Good color choice, too. Although I'd say it isn't developed enough to completely critique it. Good start though. :)
  22. Can't do transparent stuff in flash... at least not stand-alone...
  23. Just so you know, you're the only loser who paints with fuzzy brushes. :P
  24. I like it alot. Looks cool, and has a 3D feel with the triangle thing you did in the middle. Looks good.
