I'd remove the gradient from the text. Sin City had just plain red text. I lke it though, looks great. Also, your rain drops aren't consistent, they curve as they come down. Are you using a tablet?

The yellow dot is part of the lensflare that was "caught" by the lens. If you slightly move your camera or change your lensflare (which I recommend, it's way too cliche and to be honest looks a bit tacky) then that yellow dot will disappear. I see alot of detail in the mountains in the middle ground, I'd like to see it better. When you see the mountains in the foreground they shouldn't be that blurry. Remember, things closer to you often have more detail than those things farther away. Right now I see more detail in that hazy mountain that I can barely make out, than I do in the mountains right in front of me. Also, the red stuff is getting old, have you tried other colors for atmosphere? Maybe something a bit more realistic?

The mask was a logo... :) Tttia maybe you should include that... :-P

Alright well first off I will be honest and tell you that nothing near the amount of thought when into the making of this when it was done; compared to some of your analysi(s). Square/round etc it doesn't really matter, it's just a design choice. You have no idea what it shoots, it could shoot wood blocks for all you know. The second hole isn't a laser sight, it's like a double barrel shotgun aligned vertically. I'm not trying to defend myself or anything but damn... Entangle, I'm not very good at UV mapping so when I get around to it, I don't think it will do it any justice. :? I'll probably end up doing it a few times...

Kinda what I've been up to... Playing around in Softimage today.... this was just from pure imagination... no pictures used at all... Not textured yet so rendering would be kinda pointless... Comments/crits/ideas welcome. :)

The best one is the little waterfall, followed closely by the second larger waterfall. The composition on these are pretty good. I like the yellow flowers, but I wish you would have chosen a closer focus. The daisies look like a pattern I would get with photoshop, not a big fan... The purple flower is kinda nice but it's over exposed. The silhouette is the worst one barely beating out the sky shot....

Can't compare em though, pixel requires skill.

I knew what the words meant; I was asking him.... Plenty of people these days like to make up names that just "sound cool" but they really have no idea what they mean. An epoch is the starting of a new time, a new age marked by some distinguishing characteristic. Not necessarily the beginning of time itself...

I think you need something in the background just to break it up. Needs a horizontal line somewhere... makes for a better design I think.

I think you should bring the hairline down a bit, the forehead is a bit large... Looks nice though, keep workin at it. :)

You seriously lack a sense of scale and it really hurts the image. The mountains look like typical CG mountains with a very predictable bumpiness to them. Keep at it.

Looks good... Be sure to fill in the nail so you can't see the fingerline behind it... I don't like all the shading you did on the bottom right... it doesn't match well with the fingers and stuff... maybe if it was smoother.. i don't know... Pen tool skills could use some brushing up on, got some lumpy fingers there. :-P Nice work though Kane.

the bg was gonna be the ocean, but i didnt get around to it... i basically just scribbed some lines on it and did some layer mode adjustment.... thanks though. :)
