I had so much trouble with this a couple of years ago. We we're using a local ISP, it was horrible at delivering what we we're promised!!! We purchased internet "suited" especially for gaming. What we got was exactly what you are experiencing, disconnecting in games like runescape, maplestory, call of duty etc... The issue was a combination of [cabbage] router (supplied by the ISP) and high WAN usage on the ISPs side. When we bought fiber internet, it went all smooth. I'd suggest you do what Lord_Diddy suggested, the test isn't completely fail safe. You could also run command promt and type ping google.com -t, look for any inconsistency. If it appears that the connection is unstable, ping spikes or lost packages, i suggest you call your ISP and tell them about your issue, and your experiences! ;) Good luck

I've had the exact same problem, really fun in my opinion. But fun aside, try to swap graphics mode from whatever you have to the other one. DirectX-> OpenGL / OpenGL-> DirectX

Full support, cash shop is a term which doesn't really fit a game like Runescape... I think it is more or less giving richer people in real life an unfair advantage over some players...

One tip, because Jagex doesn't take care of any customers security, i would highly recommend that you place all you belongings in a bank every time you log out. Seems like jagex have started banning bots, so i would level up prayer in small periods, so that you wont loose so much money if the botting persists, and that you wont scrap your bank right away.
