Dragon longsword: Hits less than all of them, slow, only advantage is accuracy. Dragon mace: Yea... DDS: Increased accuracy AND damage, and hits 2x. Wait a minute, DDS has increased accuracy now? I thought it has LESS of an accuracy than before. I heard that it got nerfed once? And D Long increases Accuracy, but accuracy isn't the only advantage. Each spec only takes up 25% of the SA bar so you can use it more. And I've heard that D Long does more dmg than D Mace, therefore D Mace is trash. But you're right, DDS hits double, therefore gets a better boost than both of those. Despite that, however, D Claws > DDS if you are looking for power. Thank goodness that D Claws takes up 50% of the SA bar, or else it's the most broken spec ever. Granite Maul is only an instantaneous attack to the other enemy, and it drains 50%, so no, it's not really that good. Armadyl godsword does HEAVY damage, but it uses up 50% of the SA bar. Because of this, D Mace and D B-axe is trash. But D Claws can compete with the AGS, however.

Well, my suggestion currently is: -Dagger VS Claws -Shortsword VS Scimitar -Spear inbetween (this one is the odd one out) -Mace VS Longsword -Warhammer VS Battleaxe -2H VS Halberd I only nerfed the scimitar a little. I might consider changes so that the stats are equal to what the weapons are up against. Oh and if scimitar isn't overpowered, why are people all over F2P be using them so much? It's the nerfing the scimitar a little that concerns me. I can already tell you, f2p training is much, much slower than members, with the best gear that is reasonable to use. That means full rune with rune gloves, and a rune scimitar. The only faster you could get is corrupt dragon, but that's too expensive to be realistic. If you nerf the scimitar, even a little, it makes slow training even slower. As for why the scimitar is the most used, it's because it's the best. The same reason a whip is most used. Or a maple short. Or a rune crossbow. Only the uninformed use the others, because they are below par from the best. I don't care if Jagex makes the types of weapons equal. Just as long as they don't kill training for someone along the way. And, for the record, I'm looking at this from a point of view outside where it affects me. Not only am I a member, I also am a ranger, if I ever decide to go back to combat outside of quests. What I'm saying here isn't biased because something would happen to me if these changes occurred. I only nerfed the scimitar, because I wanted longsword to be the best. In most RPGs, they had longsword as one of the best weapons out there. Oh and keep in mind that I improved the rune longsword to make up for the loss of the rune scimitar so training won't be slowed down as much. (I use a rune longsword, not because I'm uninformed, because it's one of my favorites of all time, and it still gives good xp in the free world.) Oh, and why say people are uninformed when they do not use the best? Remember that personal preference plays a big role in choosing your weapon. People don't always have to pick the "best" weapon (which, for some players, isn't really the best at all), they can use other good ones as well. Remember that improving other weapons in the same category can make them on par with the "best" weapon, which I did. By the way, Quelmotz, stop it. Quit arguing with people that are actually correct. That is why I went along with sadukar123. Your stats are COMPLETELY wrong. Scimitar should not be speed 5, mace should not lose its prayer, and battleaxe should not lose its strength. So please stop arguing with my stats and other people at the same time. Capiche?

Before I thought the ring only gives extra runes, so I wore it 100% of the time. But now I realized that it can give extra XP as well. I never knew that. :o Another reason why to keep my ER3 on all the time. :

Dragon Longsword and Dragon Mace only takes up 25% per spec as well. So, conclusions: -Dragon Longsword: Accuracy + Damage Boost, Slow, not very consistent -Dragon Mace: Decreased Accuracy, Great Damage Boost, Slow, not very consistent -DDS: Decreased Accuracy, No change in damage, hits 2x per spec, poisons, faster than both of the above, quite consistent You see, DDS has more advantages than both D Long and D Mace. D Long and D Mace may have KO potential, but if you hit a 0 with either of these, you're pretty much doomed. A DDS does 2 hits at once, therefore there is double chance that the DDS will hit. Which means: DDS > D Long > D Mace.

In addition to the tasks above, I want to add some more: -Smelt an adamantite bar in the Lumbridge Furnace (70 Smithing). -Craft a Diamond Amulet near the Crafting Tutor (57 Crafting). -Cook an anchovy pizza on the Cook's range in Lumbridge Castle (55 Cooking). -Light a yew log at the courtyard of Lumbridge Castle (60 Firemaking). I support btw.

Continue with Minotaurs, using iron arrows. They are by far one of the best training areas for range in F2P (if you are safespotting that is). There are very few places that are actually effective.

Do Holy Amulets. I heard they are pretty cost effective and the silver bars are slightly cheaper than gold bars.

Learn to read. On-Topic: My gosh, you ARE incredibly unlucky. :ohnoes: I have never, ever killed that many ghosts before just to get that key. Perhaps it is a glitch? You should report this to Jagex as it sounds quite serious.

Nah, having a single person selling all the skill capes is good enough. : This cape-seller should be near Draynor Bank, near where Diango is. Or, have Diango give out lost skill capes in addition to the holiday items. Why not random event clothing? Because Iffie can store them for you, and if there was a random event clothes seller, that would defeat the purpose of random events.

I think f2p should get rune arrows and yew bows >.< If you gave f2p rune boots, you would need to give f2p all of the lesser boots too That's the point, give boots from bronze to rune so the price might rise. No, F2P must get up to Magic bows to solve the magic shortbow problem.

Yeah, Dragon Longsword's spec can compete with the Dragon Mace's spec AND the DDS's spec. Reason? Dragon Longsword's spec is much more accurate than both of the above weapons, which means better chance of hitting a very high number. Not only that, but the strength gets a big boost as well (but not as much as the Dragon Mace). The highest hit I've seen on a Dragon Longsword is 54 on YouTube. Still, DDS's poison advantage CAN beat Dragon Longsword's special.

Yeah, make cockroaches have a more significant Crush weakness (so that the rune mace will actually be more useful). And what monsters already have a Stab weakness, but are still worth killing? I have to know one so that the rune shortsword will actually be useful.

Yeah, do Range/2H. It is quite effective in PKing. Though the Scimitar/2H combo is great as well.
