I cut willows south of Draynor Bank. It is the best woodcutting exp F2P wise, and while I'm at it, I also train some Firemaking there as well.

I'm training Woodcutting and Firemaking atm, at the willows south of Draynor bank. If I'm not training these two skills, then I'm training Melee at the Flesh Crawlers in the SoS. Or probably train anything else in F2P. Gah I can't decide what to train next! :wall:

Since I'm an F2Per, Firemaking would probably be the most useless skill. In P2P however it does have some use. (Beacon Network anybody?)

I've started playing RS nearly 2 years ago, at about October 2007. Of course, I took a few breaks here and there, just like everybody else.

Since I'm an F2Per, I say Melee. It gives the most EXP per hour, is fun to train, and has the coolest-looking weapons. (Rune Longsword )

I generally don't really like the new players, most of the really low levels would just beg you for money. But, as someone said, we all were a new player at some point. ;)

We don't NEED the old wildy back, none of us do. You're just another whining PKer that can't get over the old days. On a side note though, I do want the old wilderness areas back. I miss the Bone Yard. :( Someone please close this thread, we don't need a petition.

Why isn't Verie__Bad on this list? Did he quit or something? I'm just asking.

A few things I want to point out. 1. The rune scimitar is proven to be the best weapon in F2P, followed by the rune longsword. You really don't need to use weapons other than these two, except probably the rune two-hander for PVP KOs. 2. The rune longsword is also the best at stabbing. Your "claim" that the rune shortsword is better at stabbing is not feasible - the rune longsword has EXACTLY the same stab bonus, plus it is stronger and therefore able to make hits better than the rune shortsword. No offense but I think you have something against the rune longsword. 3. The image doesn't show up for some reason. Can you type the statistics up instead, so you don't have to worry about the images not showing up?

The most impossible achievements is easily the 1,000,000 Brawl matches in SSBB. That and Boss Battles on Intense w/ all characters no damage.

IMO, just about every single music game is overrated. I don't really get the point of it, you just keep clicking buttons and it gets extremely repetitive... -.- And TC, not trying to change your opinion or anything but you're being too harsh on Earthbound.

Kirby Super Star Ultra was the only Kirby game I ever played (not counting Smash Bros), and I have to say, it was a fantastic game. One of the best games for the DS, even. Too bad this game is underlooked. :( I even got bored and made a tier list for Helper to Hero (lol), but I'm not sure whether to post it or not... (Yes, I beat HtH with everyone twice, that's why I created it.)

I have to agree, even though F2P most certainly needs update (hell, our bank is getting overly cramped :wall: ), they shouldn't ask for TOO much. F2P and P2P are different, P2P is the FAR bigger expansion that people pay for, so P2P deserves more updates. Honestly, if you think F2P needs that much update as well, then F2P will REALLY start to get confusing for the people who retired then came back after a while. I've actually semi-retired for about 2 months and came back recently, and I'm actually glad not THAT many things changed. (Though, I'm certainly upset about the GOP activity bar. :evil: ) Conclusion: Have F2P get slightly more updates but not TOO much.

I prefer the Rune Longsword, it's the coolest-looking weapon IMO. Added to the fact that it is the second-best weapon in the F2P game (coupled with the best stab), this gives me even more of a reason to use the Rune Longsword. Sometimes I wonder why people hate the longsword. It's got TONS of potential. In fact it could be the single best weapon in the F2P game if it just had more strength, and if more monsters are prone to stab. :(

Actually they aren't, they only do the damage of a longsword and has the speed of a battleaxe.

I think the reason why people go like "Pics or it didn't happen" is because a lot of players use the genderchange feature in the game. Or they are just immature little kids who make fun of girls. Otherwise, I see absolutely no reason why people would just pick on girl players in RS. It's just sexist, girls DO play Runescape. In fact just about everybody does. There are quite a few underrated items, from what I see. -Kebabs. Since the update they don't damage you anymore, and they have the potential to heal 30! -Tuna. Doesn't even cost 80 and it heals a whopping 10 HP. -Rune Longsword. This is the best stabbing weapon in F2P. It is also an overall good option for those who hate the ridiculously overpriced rune scimitar. -Explorer's Ring 3. Gives a boost to Runecrafting, boosts run energy, and even gives free teleports. -Rune Mace. The +4 Prayer can get you out of sticky situations in combat. -Anti-Dragon Shield. Excellent for mages, and it is also good for warriors fighting mages (because of magic defence). -Rune Battleaxe. It is the best 1-handed KO weapon. It is also an overall good option for those who hate the ridiculously overpriced rune 2h.

Really hypocritical of you. You said on the main post that f2p was imbalanced and now you're telling me to STOP FOCUSING ON F2P? Nice fail. Seriously I'm sick of you telling me to argue elsewhere. Forums were made to argue. Fine, they weren't made to flame, but did I flame? "PRETTY MUCH" - how much is that then? Don't use vague words. A slight difference can make a big difference, if your mental capacity can comprehend that. Why is the longsword so rarely used then? Its more accurate and strong than the scimitar, and its speed is "PRETTY MUCH" the same as the scimitar. You do realize that every F2P update, yes, EVERY F2P UPDATE, affects P2P players? Quelmotz, don't even bother arguing. I have used rune weapons as an example, because there is no dragon shortsword, warhammer, or kiteshield. Don't think of this as an F2P update. It sounded like one because I am F2P myself and don't know much about the P2P world. And by the way, you DID flame my thread, and you did this in a rather nasty way. So don't feel bad about your post, I was just listening to your advice and adding them onto the first post. As for the alch values, I think they do and don't need a change at the same time. The reason why we don't is becuase we've got the GE now. Ever since it alching will just result in a loss of money. Changing the alch value won't do anything other than give magers/smithers slightly more money when alching. But then again, I would still change them a bit, because monsters occasionally drop these items (looking at you cockroach soldier). Hmm, perhaps I'll take a look at the spear again. But I am looking for something other than speed, a change in speed can overpower the weapons if changed incorrectly. The reason why I left the accuracy of the warhammer the same, it is because it is the most accurate. Even the 2H sword is inferior to the warhammer in that attack style. The reason why I gave the longsword a bigger boost in strength is because it will be obsolete if it is left as it is. Since I wanted mace to have better strength, longsword better have better strength as well.

So your guide is basically a Strength-only pure, no Attack, no Defence, no Prayer, no whatsoever? I would say it's a pretty good setup (because of the combat levels), but pures with a rune weapon tend to do even better. No, I'm not discouraging your guide, just putting that point up there. About the weapons, do some comparing with the Talisman Staff to Silverlight or an Iron weapon. Otherwise, getting 50 RC is a waste (even though it is proven that 50 RC F2P can be done within a week).

Why do so many people think that 50 RC takes weeks? I got my 50 RC in about a week and a half by doing body tiaras all along the way. Seriously guys, RC is overrated as a difficult skill. Put some thought and dedication into it, and it just goes like "BOOM! There it is! 50 RC!"

Good. Without the RS HD update, I doubt that this game will appeal as much as today. (Or does it already?) People just think graphics are the best thing in the world. That's why many people fell in love with WoW.

Argh, now I have to balance spear and longsword again. And how is reaching one more square "overpowering" the hally? Also, longswords aren't that obsolete with the change of the mace. Remember that longsword attacks with slash, and maces attack with crush. I should consider spec changes as well... so Quelmotz please stop talking the F2P crap. And stop putting personal attacks on Sadukar. There is a reason why there is a PM function. Go argue elsewhere. Thank you very much.
