Bad ads rarely slip through, but when they do, users are very prompt about reporting them for removal. Most of the reports aren't for malicious ones, either. Just goldselling / stupid ads that break the page. But Tip.it does remove bad ads when they're brought to the tech's attention.

Well to be fair this is the biggest cluster of downtime we've had in a few months.

Try not to get stressed out too much, Low_C. It's a mark of how well your server is doing that people are so anxious to use it. We know you've done a crap-ton of work. And you're doing it on your own, which is a chore. We're grateful--but sometimes gratitude doesn't translate well in text. :P

I actually thought you were going for an informative piece, and I was stating what I'd enjoy reading more. I can tell you put effort into it though, and I really don't have any critique to give on how to make such a piece better. I never really took debate classes, and to be truthful I learned things reading article #1. Your conclusion was what made me think I'd love to see a critique on the community of the site specifically, nothing more. :P

The quality of a community is not determined by how well people debate, but how well everyone meshes together in that community. So arguing well might help things mesh together, but it is not the end-all-be-all. Informative article, I suppose, but I would've rather seen a critique than a dry instructional list.

It might have had an effect on us, the RS community at large. But in the grand scheme of the awards and where they placed? Practically nothing.

It's just speculation that the Golden Scythe is connected to the GJA. It appeared in the POH toybox the update before the awards were given out and has "Golden" in it's name so it wasn't much of a leap. Adding onto the fact that the previous year we received the Golden Cracker, a gold version of an old holiday item, for their 1st place at the GJA's. It followed in the same pattern to the T.

It does not solve the problem with the device itself. I'm not sure how you're going to twist it to say otherwise. I'm sure you'll find some way, though. OP: I don't own a 2g personally but my friend used to always complain to me about fixing his date/time on his touch to play videos properly. Dunno if that still applies, or it was fixed, or what. Just throwing it out there. Don't know if it will solve your problem, or if it even applies.
