Holiday Musings and a permanent solution to rares
The bigger question is why you don't feel that we should be. Tradable rares do nothing to prove or indicate how long you're playing, nor are they unique - anyone can buy them (with a whole wad of cash). No one can buy my Scythe, no matter how much they want it. Do they have the right to obtain something that they weren't around to get? No, they don't. Just like you don't deserve $100 from someone handing out cash to everyone on the street because you were busy at work, and couldn't get to him in enough time. Sure, being recognized as an RSC player is rather moot nowadays, as even I've lost most consideration into it. That, however, doesn't mean that I'm just going to say "ok" to everyone getting a Scythe or Bunny Ears. It's just an item. There's nothing special about IT, everyone should have a chance to get it. If you were asked to delete one weapon from the game forever, and you had a choice between the scythe and whip, which would you pick? And as mentioned before (I'm wondering if none of my posts show up for you?)... YOU say there's nothing special about the items. OTHERS say there is. You can't come around and say we're wrong for seeing the special connection and then, by the virtue of how you proved the other people wrong, come and say you're right. The whip and the scythe are two completely different items--they can't even be compared.

Exodus defeats Rune Raiders.
Very impressive. Good to see Exo back on the rebound. Better luck next time RR.

who holds the true power in runescape? MELLE!
Low crater, lower hp. Easier to get a KO. That's been my personal experience with my range pure anyway.

Dragon chain armour set (l)
You're right clicking "Exchange" on the box in your INVENTORY, right? Not the GE screen?

17th February 2009 - Wilderness and Real-World Trading Q&A
I [bleep] knew it. I KNEW that's why no one got rid of junk trading. Well there you have it guys, they're happy with a broken GE system because it allows players to circumvent the trading limits. What I've--and others--have been saying for ages. Personally I agree with Andrew, and say that I see no problem with it. Sure it makes buying things on the GE abit harder sometimes, but its their items and their choice on what they want to sell them for. I dont think its really circumventing anything. Junk has always had some value, its just now they add it to the trades to make it seem like they are getting more cash, when in actuality, they aren't. Really we've already lost substantial trade abilities ever since this whole battle on RWTings started, lets not further hamper them and make person to person trading even worse. You're totally missing the point though. Junk wouldn't exist if the GE properly reflected supply and demand. Rather than fix the long-broken system, they're going to "let it slide." This is great for people who want to trade freely and have a lot of junk.... HOWEVER! Junk items aren't the only broken items in the GE. To name a few: third age, animal masks, partyhats, etc. All these "frozen" items that never get fixed. And since you can't fix one set of items without fixing it all UNLESS YOU DO IT MANUALLY, it's always going to be an issue now and for future rare item releases.

Why would people crash soloers at bandos?
No need to bump a thread...on the first page...that's already at the top of the forum. :wall: People like to leech. Leechers usually die. It's fairly simple.

17th February 2009 - Wilderness and Real-World Trading Q&A
Just read through it all... All of it is rehashed stuff from countless comments over the years jam-packed into one news post that, once again, no one will ever reference in the future. I [bleep]ing knew it. I KNEW that's why no one got rid of junk trading. Well there you have it guys, they're happy with a broken GE system because it allows players to circumvent the trading limits. Adventure quest leeching off jagex's ideas?
MechQuest existed BEFORE MechScape was even devised. EDIT: scratch that, MechScape might've been in production at the time of MechQuest's release. My point is that MechQuest was released into the market first.

[Update] New Webiste
For constructive criticism's sake... Your banner's font is very hard to distinguish. You might want to try putting a border around the text, giving it a drop shadow, or at least something. The font and the render it's over are too close in color to make your name stand out. EDIT: Oh wait, I see it now. The text isn't part of the banner, and I had my window squished, which is why I couldn't see it. Still, changing the font color wouldn't hurt. The fact that the webpage re-sizes to fit a person's browser and that each container has a minimum limit is nice. Though I think it gives a better overall look with a static size. That could just be me though. Personally, I can't say I like the design, but that's just a personal preference. It's otherwise well done. Best of luck to you guys, grats on your new website!

Holiday Musings and a permanent solution to rares
I'm not saying they should be removed because new players can't afford them, I'm saying they should be removed because they aren't supposed to BE selling for such inflated prices. If you've read my posts in this topic you'll see that I've stated numerous times that I think everyone should be able to achieve the same thing through dedication and hard work. Key words: equal opportunity. And for the main part you're addressing: the "inflated prices"? They ARE available to everyone given an equal opportunity. I can't see how this is not clear. If you have the ability to make money, you have the ability to obtain a santa hat, a pumpkin, etc. The ONLY ITEMS members do NOT have an equal opportunity to are the Bunny Ears and Scythe. That's it.

Hades v TBK 3.5 Hour Pkri
Sad FT, really sad. Since when can a clan start attacking another clan who has a fight in progress just because "they stole your spot" (Which I do NOT believe.) You mean to tell me that you guys couldn't get a hold of their clan officials first, FT? Puh-leeze. You just wanted some smaller clans to push around. Good job to both clans. You had a really rough fight with a lot of interruptions, though, which must've been hard on the both of you.

16th February 2009 - Your RuneScape Questions Answered
Makes sense. Get the easy questions out of the way, do research on the harder ones, reply to the HUGE ones in a better time frame. That's why you see the "silly" questions now, and you'll get your real answers down the road. [/hide] He sure makes a bunch of spelling mistakes . Someone should send the grammar police on him. ....! TIF GRAMMAR NAZIS, ASSEMBLE!!!!!! *triumphant music plays, caped crusaders sail into the scene*

leaf-bladed sword spike?
It's good against Kurask/Turoths and I've heard it's good against metal dragons.

Little Boy Father At 13 (After DNA Test, Not The Father)
I read the article, abhorred at every sentence. When asked what the boy will do for his child financially, he asked, "What is financially?" :wall:

Why do Void users always take my spot?
You're making the comparison of void users and the likelihood of killstealing, but you're ignoring the third variable. You are at a spot where monster numbers are extremely limited and usually competitive. They are a popular spot.

Despite it he's maintained a sheen of maturity to match any politician.

DF V Corruption - 14.5 hour PKRI
14.5 hours? Dear lord why? Anything longer than 4 just becomes a "Who can go the most without sleep" contest. Good job to both clans though.

Mechscape A Hard Blow To Clans?
Will you play Mechscape? Most likely. If it's great, would you quit Runescape to play Mechscape? I don't think I could ever quit Runescape after all the progress I've made on my account thusfar. Do you think it will affect the clan you are currently in? Oh, absolutely, just like any game-shaking update has. But I don't expect it to be very devastating, really. If most of your members quit your clan to start playing Mechscape what would you do? I don't think this is likely, but most likely we'll rebuild and persevere, much like we always do. We haven't stuck out 3+ years of existence just to fade away because a new game comes out.

Warring the same clans
Yes, and it's very easy to get trapped in a pidgeonhold of fighting the same people over and over and over. The power gap between notable clans is astonishing, and it limits your possible opponents.

What's more important in a clan: community or power?
Well really that depends on what kind of member you cater your clan towards. I favor, and have always enjoyed, a clan that values both sides of the spectrum. Having a strong, fostering community alongside warring excellence. It's hard to find the medium between these after being in a long-lasting slump. And it's the clans that pull through those hard times without compromising this balance that are true gems. You can say you value friendship and that's all well and good. But what happens if a friend takes liberties and skips events? As a leader, there comes a point where you have to draw the line between friendship and leadership. And as a member there has to be a time where you ask your "leader" to be more than just a friend and take an active role in ensuring the clan's welfare and progress.

16th February 2009 - Your RuneScape Questions Answered
I think these are one of the few "serious" questions answered here by Mod MMG. I'm happy to see that mentioning TipIt/RSC/RuneHQ/ETC will no longer be a ban-able thing since they CLAIM to be working closely with them. We won't be seeing the cost of membership skyrocketing any time soon. I personally expected him to take on some harder questions. There's no way, for one, that he can't ask questions on the future expansion of customer service.

try the banned account review thread
Not much of a secret. That thread has helped get many people unbanned for minor offenses/wrongful bannings. Congratulations on sticking out a 5 year ban. Was it worth it? :P

Holiday Musings and a permanent solution to rares
That is your opinion, however, because you found nothing special nor significant in RSC. To those who have, however, it holds a special place in their heart. Whether this be nostalgia of better times, of simpler systems, or even just a more difficult game, you can't cheapen this feeling with just a cold statement. This is where some of the vehemence comes from.

Here is the link to the article. It only gives +30% to magic ATTACK, not level.

Green or Blue ... Dragons that is
I would do green dragons given your combat stat. Use the Games Necklace to tele to bounty hunter. Run south of bounty hunter to the Ancient Magicks portal. Portal until you get around approx 38 lvl wilderness. This is one of the best and most desolate areas for green dragons. The only disadvantage is you have a LOT further to run 'til you are safe from a reverant. EDIT: Blues are possible at your level but given the fact that you're 62 ranging, it would be significantly slower than Green Dragon killing as a moneymaker. The tradeoff is that your range level will eventually increase and they're substantially safer.
