10$ for free increased bankspace forever that will even carry over if you ever decide to upgrade compared to a 300+ upgrade for a month with over 10x the content to fill it all up. You can't really compare the two. To a pure F2Per, I could definitely see how buying bankspace would be an alluring thing. So let's talk DLC. Dawnguard was released less than a month ago. Came with a decent storyline and game additions. But today Hearthfire was announced as a way to make your home from the ground up, released on September 4th, for only 5 bucks. That's pretty awesome IMO, and is more interesting to me than an overpriced (IMO) storyline add-on.

It's not F2P if you have to pay for it. Non-members is still free to play...so...yes it is. I get what you're driving at but you're saying the wrong things to get that point across.

No, you misread the news post. They were private as in limited access separated from the rest of RuneScape. You CAN invite other players, but that doesn't mean that's the only way people can reach those areas.

Not quite. Vine whip is part of the level 75 tier (While chaotics are 80), and the rapier is now exclusively a stab weapon. As Hedgehog said, chaotics are still the best weapons for their classes/styles. Did you completely miss the SoF and SGS updates we have been getting 3/4 weeks every month? Small apples compared to what Omali was actually talking about. And if our own little community is indicative of what happened in the player base at large, relatively few people truly quit over these things.

It would have to be one hell of a quest to smoothly remove the runes from the culture of man in this Age as well as their dependency on them - and then whatever miraculous change that is would have to be a world-wide event that would suddenly allow the human race to work magic without runes. I personally don't think it can be done, or will be done, within our "play-lifetimes." There's no real point. Such a revolutionary change would be the start of a new Age, and we're already lining up one to start with the climax of re-emerged Elder Gods etc.

Wouldn't it be equally possible that the effects given back to the swift gloves will be nerfed in a similar fashion to make the tiering work when compared to the royal crossbow? Or am I completely off base here
