No kidding. But they didn't exactly announce the delay prior to the last week in August, did they? Which is why it indicates someone forcing them to that timeframe until they could strongly demonstrate otherwise. They've always been honest about needing to push things back and I'm obviously not implying they're lying. Simply that someone who called that shot was unrealistic.

It's slated for a November release currently (Source). Mod Pi put a good spin on it but honestly, we knew from day 1 with what they released that September was far too unrealistic. It was unfair that they had to put a cramped deadline on them, because it makes them look bad for delaying it. And they honestly didn't deserve that. So good job, whoever it was who made that call. You're the reason why devs hate upper management!

Moderators have done that on a daily basis for years. The fact that you think they haven't done it shows how effective it is in the long run. There is hope that this problem will be lessened but never fully gone. It's a pipe dream.

True, but within a day we got jmod confirmation that it was fake. This has been up for almost 3 days now without a peep. Not 100% confirmation, but it definitely adds a little credibility to it.

You didn't read the newspost well enough. Yes, there's a 700k reward but only if you were subscribed continuously through August and September. Otherwise, being a member for the month of September will only give you 350k bonus exp.

It is impossible to stop bots permanently and to expect that is unreasonable.

For that reason I'm choosing to ignore the PR bs for the hard deadlines he offered us as well as promised content. As a user, that's all I really care about at the end of the day. What are they doing for me, when can I expect it, and is there any interesting content coming out in the future that we can speculate on? He did that, which is why this newspost was much more successful than the last one of its kind.

You'd only say that never experiencing any real online play. Skype calls take less than 30 seconds to initiate, which is about as challenging as getting a party together in XBL voicechat. And a lot of online games have voice chat without 3rd party programs, similar to how xbl has voice chat always enabled assuming you've got the microphone. I'd say they're pretty much equal.
