I think "eventually" is the key word there. I may just do Legacy of Seergaze just to set myself up for the next one, but I hope it is better than LoS because I have read the guide and it looks long with a [cabbage] reward.

I agree. Although it doesnt take up a lot of time, having to manage items around in the bank so I know where they are and not such a cluster[cabbage] is quite annoying.

Personally I think the best one is the one you want to use. I personally want the Surefooted aura for agility come BXPW so I am saving for that one.

That should be the way it goes. I dont think it should be a huge difference like a guaranteed +1 for each level, but maybe an extra herb per 5-7 levels. Agreed I would like to report that I havent had such terrible luck lately, nothing like my original post yield, thankfully.

I contend this is a calculator that a Tip.It staff could write. I will not pretend like it would not take any time or be any real work, but it could be a helpful tool under the Special Calcs section, especially for efficiency gurus. It should include base drain with one prayer, stacked prayers and the prayer bonus factor from equipment stats. I was going to gather data for it, but its already been done and a formula made. Just a suggestion.

I think if you could finish the quests within a day or two and then get to work on using the gilded altar, it is possible. Right now for you it would take 141,622 Big Bones to get to 95 prayer (assuming exact lvl 76). At 350 each (which they are lower but i overestimate on purpose) it will cost 49,567,700 gp. This does not include the marentil herbs. For Dragon Bones, you need 29,505 of those and multiply by an approximate 4000 each gives you a cost of 118,020,000 gp. Once again, no inclusion of herbs for burners. Considering your limited time and the fact that you will have to use your friend's POH (increasing the time between trips considerably) I would try to go for Dragon Bones and make up the money somehow soon, or if you must get the Big Bones due to cost, let's just say you'll get your money's worth for the membership. Other than that, I think is possible, I do not know the specific xp/h for gilded altar, especially in your situation, but it could work. Also, I dont know how long the quest chain to get to curses is, but I dont think it is just one or two quests, so be ready for that. EDIT: It took me so long to type this, there are 4 replies ahead of me haha.

I have found out you cannot boost your Thieving stats to start at least the 3rd part of the quest. This most likely applies to the other two parts as well. I tried a Bandit's Brew and it would not allow me to start.

Could you please explain how Superheating is better Magic Exp than alching when it gives 12xp less per cast? I thought they took up the same amount of game ticks, and if that is so, that part of your statement is untrue.

"Biggest update of the year... yet" I believe was the quote from Jagex when they announced it. Jagex probably considers the scale of updates based on code writing and stuff, but honestly Free Trade and Wilderness was the largest update this year to me. However, I cannot have a level opinion because I am not in a clan to experience the citadels. Also, I think an overall graphics change that seems to be coming would be huge too. On a note of the citadels themselves: I half expected an advertisement to join a clan to be part of citadels like the advertisement for the Dwarven Axe update when I logged on today.

Although there are better methods to getting 99 magic, if you insist on alching, check out Rune Wiki. It has a page that shows popular alching items and what their profit is including the purchase of nature runes. I've never watched that show, but that clip is definitely relevant. I do think Jagex makes the players look a bit like pansies at times during quests and other interactions with NPCs. Poetic lisence/justice? Maybe so.

Interview with Jagex about Clan Citadels: Hey, Jagex, will we be able to have visitors to our clan citadel? -Why yes you will Runescape player. Jagex, visitors can come to our citadels right? -Yes, visitors will be allowed in clan citadels. You can limit where they go and what they can do too. Are there really going to be visitors? -Yes. I understand they dont want to give much away which is why they said to go watch the video several times, but asking the same questions over and over again? Really? Over again? Second article seemed to ask more questions than it answered. How about explaining exactly what "instance-ing" is? I dont know, and I dont know if I am the only one who doesnt. The balancing act of Jagex could have been a simpler article. Honestly, it has a good message but the only thing it is going to bring up is a rekindled debate about Free Trade and Wilderness. I dont think Jagex ever wanted to have to implement restrictions on trade, which would explain their suceptability to the players in that instance. Otherwise, Jagex is usually an rock when it comes to listening to player opinion; they know what they want to do with the game, and they do it usually. This is a good conclusion that Crocefisso also came to. Another note on The Impossible Balance article: is the writer and editor British? I couldnt help but notice "skeptical" being spelled "sceptical" several times, and the first I thought was a typo but it continued occuring, so I asked myself whether or not they were American or the British have a different way of spelling the word. There were a few other words like that too. Last but not least, I dont know when the last article was written, but the interview with Jagex tells us Construction is not involved at all and clans will not be fighting other clans on their battlefields (at least not at first). I do not know what addition this article brought to the table really. Maybe hype for the update? I dont know.
