I understand how it works in terms of the wheel and stuff, thanks for the info though. ^In terms of this however: What youre saying is that the RoW does not affect "unique drops" meaning things like Draconic Visage right? What would be other drops considered unique rather than just rare?

I know it is widely accepted to not use RoW, but I decided to anyway when I went to fight the Tormented Wraith. I noticed that after every fight, the text box said: "Your Ring of Wealth shines more brightly!" Ive never seen this before, when was it added? and what does it do? I cannot find anything explaining it here or on Runescape.com. One more thing and I'll be posting it in the other forum: RoW does not affect Barrows according to Runescape.com, but it says it does on its entry here on Tip.it

Exactly, there for noobs, they cant click things while they move, he should be stationary. The logic of my rant is sound, I am right. :) So, I had already thought about Jeffery as the anti-bot measurement for the Edgeville furnace, but I wrote the rant just to complain about him getting in the way, its annoying, I was frustrated, and I vented. I thought many more people would agree that he was an annoyance rather than argue about his validity as a anti-bot measurement, but oh well.

... I am done responding to these threads. Call it apathy if you like, but I am done making arguments for or against ways to end botting. Get rid of botting yes, but dont expect me to give two [cabbages] on how we do it.

So I am smelting gold in Edgeville and I play on a widescreen and a resizable playing window. I can manipulate the camera angle to where from the bank I can one click the furnace, and from the furnace 2 click the bank booth; however, there is one foe that stands in my way of efficiency: his name is JEFFERY. Yes, Jeffery the [cabbage] who walks around the Edgeville furnace serving no purpose but to tell noobs they cant use it, and standing in my way when I am one-clicking the furnace to smelt my ores once every few times. This man must be stopped.

It was a Bot Coup... this was just the first wave. I also experienced the Tip.it crash.

Definitely happening when I smelt gold then because I am a bit of a hoarder, I do not like to drop things.

I know this is dumb question in Meta discussion, but what does DPS stand for?

Is there a definitive list of skills one can train while alching? I am going to be alching a large sum of things soon and I am wondering if I could/should do any of the following: 1) Mining in LRC (not what Im alching) 2) Woodcutting 3) Smelting gold ore

Reading the first few paragraphs I got a feeling they were being vague and had not spent too much time on these Citadels; however, I continued reading the rest of that extensive blog and must say I am impressed. On that note however, I am not in a clan, so this update is kinda pointless for me.

Still think Jagex should not have introduced such a program; however, I like the auras and look forward to their upgrades. Yea, Im a hypocrite, I know, Ive already admitted it in earlier threads. I figured they were not going to be only cosmetic, and am indifferent about the fact they arent.

Im fairly certain the last one in September took place on Labor Day Weekend (American Holiday), or the week after. Look for an announcement in mid to late August about whether it is going to happen or not. I must say if you think in terms of Jagex's new "make that money" policy, Bonus XP weekends in March and September probably add about 3 months of subscription for some people (if they do members during summers). That way they get 6 months out of people rather than 3 months during summer.

Yea, I was just making sure AHappyBunyip understood why we were giving Jagex flak for their recent underhanded change in policy.

If this was sarcasm, I missed it, but as far as my knkowledge goes back (2002) Jagex has held the position that the free game is an entity of its own and is NOT a demo of the paid version. The people who pay receive the opportunity of more gameplay for their money, but the paid version is NOT the "real" or "true" game, just additional content for supporting the makers of the game. That is my paraphrase of Jagex's stance on their free vs paid game. I know there is probably record of them making a statement on it somewhere, but I dont tend to keep such records.

Whats with the "incognito mode" for Google Chrome just to play RS?

^Nice. I found one as well starting in the second lever room. You have to put the other characters in front of the lever before they can pull it. Also, on some you cannot send them to the square right in front of the lever, the game tells you it is an invalid tile.

Um after getting ingredients for anti-mind control serum, the NPCs teleport out and Im left on the fishing platform. Where is this "citadel" they go to?

Grimy's Spreadsheets. Its been done for every skill and every item imaginable pretty much. They are a comprehensive guide to efficient training and are updated regularly. Besides, this discussion should be in the Metagame forums considering its focus, if it were not a few years late.

Best article by far is the preview to the interview with SUOMI. SUOMI seems like a level-headed person, and I can relate to the fact that I cannot do merching either. I flat out suck at it. I really look forward to the rest of the interview. The other two articles were good, but I feel they were more of a summary of a few topics discussed here in the forums over the past two weeks.

^They make you pay and ante, uncool. Just go to Vegas for real. On Topic: I dont think there is anything wrong with the economy to warrant such a casino for those reasons; however, I think it is an interesting idea about trading items into the game for casino tokens. If anything, it would just be some fun. I like it.

I look forward to these updates. I see a glitch in Runescape's future with the whole clan citadels and the Daemonheim smuggling. I wonder what it will be.
