  1. ^Probably the funniest thing I've read all week.
  2. ^This is probably the most important question I would ask myself. If I had to get a bot from 3rd parties, absolutely not. If Jagex provided the bots I would consider it. The thing is, I do not have a lot of time to play Runescape, so if Jagex provided a bot to level up in certain skills like Firemaking, Agility, Runecrafting, Mining (which I am currently working on, tough), I probably would. However, I still would play the game myself any time I was available to do so. I would probably be a hybot (hybrid between player/bot).
  3. Off the main theme of the topic, but: What did you do to get 99 Construction at only 80mil? I could have sworn it cost more than that.
  4. ROFL and Levitate emotes for sure!!! Mostly the ROFL haha. I wonder what the actual use of the auras will be and/or how powerful they will be. I doubt this stuff will be tradeable. Also, I cant wait to see a bunch of people with auras right away instead of saving up for what I assume will be better ones.
  5. Indeed they do. Get the Batmobile, its off to the RSOF!!!!
  6. I would just like to see armour that looks as good as the Dungeoneering armour outside of Daem.
  7. Good Luck, and you should know that it is about 90% of this community who do not support botting, probably more.
  8. To allow all the threads that complain about bots would be just as bad as allowing all the threads to continue that have false information or even scams. Is that to say complaining about bots is as bad as scamming? ABSOLUTELY NOT. However, when they both overrun the forums and do not allow for other discussions, removing them is the only option. That being said, there have been plenty of bot complaint threads that have stuck around on the forums, made it a few pages, and slowly died as most threads do. This was because even though the original post was a complaint, the main idea and argument sparked legitimate discussion.
  9. Welcome! You will enjoy it. I used this site for way too long before I made an account. Also, I am sorry to see you leave 999134. I hope you still post around here. I was always envious of your wealth that I could see in your signature. I dont think I could ever amass that much.
  10. Nice! Mil's graphs prove my hypotheses! I found that exciting, even though they werent difficult predictions.
  11. More bars per trip so there is less banking between loads, they stack, and I guess they have a better gp/xp rate
  12. Verac's is good for using the whole set. Otherwise, Helm of Niet is better. Offers no attack penalties as well as a similar prayer bonus, which is the real reason behind Verac.
  13. Yes, Red D-hides seem to be the best at the moment if you can still get them for cheap. If you high alch or sell the end product, you should make some money or at least minimize losses.
  14. Good bring back on this thread. I spent a bunch of time just reading about 20+ pages.
  15. ^This. I like that when I come to Tip.It it is not filled with spammers. Every now and then we will see someone post a topic usually in General Discussion that is an obvious scam, but not often. And props to the moderators for quickly dispatching of such threads.
  16. ^I like this idea very much. And you are right guys, Im not the only player who has ever in the world suggested something to Jagex; however, the fact that Jagex does not give credit to its players for updates they release is the worst kind of stealing. If they really wanted to foster a community that takes pride in giving back to the game, then they should say "We have released this feature for Runescape, thanks to 'this player' or 'these players' who gave us the idea and helped in the development and improvement of Runescape." You know who gives credit for things? Tip.It does. Just look at any guide, calculator, or entry into the items/beastiary lists. People who contribute get a note that they helped. To not mention someone's hand in producing something is disrespectful and stealing. No, I am probably not the only and first person to have made such a suggestion, but when I searched on the RSOF and Tip.It, I did not find a thread similar to or before mine. Therefore I will claim it as mine, because it is. Am I going to write Jagex and complain? No. I will appreciate that something I suggested was brought about into the game; however, I will always contend that Jagex should give credit to its players when it is due.
  17. Bout time they added this. I suggested it over 6 months ago. Of course they wouldnt give credit to any player who gives them ideas, but I am glad its here. World Queuing: Wessan's Idea.
  18. As far as I'm aware, there is no way to record total deaths on any world for any length of time. Well, Like I said, spur of the moment idea. I still find the data interesting and would like to see trends over several months. Make some hypotheses: higher number of players in the summer, possibly a 7-10% increase between June and the beginning of September; more peaks and valleys during the fall and spring days due to specific times that people play rather than in the summer when it can be all day. These two come from the assumption the player base is still in school mainly middle and high school in America. Im sure there are more that could be tested.
  19. Thank you.
  20. Are there any other worlds besides 84 that people gather for LRC? World 84 has become too laggy for even my computer which is pretty high end and Im playing on low detail down there.
  21. You know what my be quite useful would be to track deaths of players on different servers. This could potentially point out things like bots on worlds like 84 for LRC and other worlds known to have botters in certain locations. This may be a bit too complicated, but it was a spur of the moment idea I had while mining today and people were talking about bots and dying (as usual).
  22. First Article: Good conclusion, pretty much my feelings on the subject. I completely agree that it was probably a condition within the contract made with GameStop to put that promotional item in. I can only hope as well that it is a precursor to Eastern Lands by the end of the year. Second Article: Good information to know overall. However, it seemed as if you could not understand why one cannot report people for RWT. Its simple, they could be lying or joking. I could tel you today that I participate in RWT (even though I dont). That means nothing at all. Even if someone claims to be a part of something, there must be evidence to corroborate the story. I did not read the 3rd article, I hope those who do enjoy it.
  23. It is always a nice courtesy to let others know about the different scams going about so everyone can stay informed. I thank the OP for this. I have not been scammed since I was a little noob back in 2002, but I am glad to see what scammers are doing so I have the knowledge and others do to. As G.I. Joe taught us all: "Knowing is half the battle".
  24. I do not know how to find the exact time or date the data was taken, but you can discern the general trends if you use the scroll wheel on your mouse to move the page down. The population is the last 5/6 digit number. I think this data is important beyond "the bot" application of it. This data could show a cycle that the Runescape population tends to follow day by day, week by week, and so on. Interesting enough to study even if it doesnt have a proper application. Maybe even Metagame discussion.
  25. Ah Cabbage! I cant believe they would do something like this. How could you just take away my outlet for all the frustration and anger I accumulate while I play Runescape? How am I supposed to express my discontent about the stupid little noob who is taking all my monkeys while Im training? Where do I turn when I want to complain about all the bots at every single place in Runescape? The fact that Jagex is taking away my ability to tell them about my anger is proof they do not care and only want the money from the bots who fund the majority of Jagex these days!!! AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is pure [cabbage]!!!! Jagex can just take their [cabbage] and shove it in their own [cabbage] while [cabbage cabbage cabbage] with some [cabbage] and a midget [cabbage] and a belt to [cabbage cabbage] attached to a horse for [cabbage] and topping it all off with [cabbage]!!!!!!!!!!!
