I bought a Santa hat a few weeks ago. Yes I know about all that is going on and two weeks ago I didnt know that was going to happen. Right now I just need to get help about what to do now. Should I sell it for some mils plus junk, sell off the junk in GE, wait for free trade and get another rare back? Or should I just keep the thing and ride out the storm? Or any other suggestions?

Wow, I thought this was a troll but I checked forums and it's true o.o ...Why? I'm not sure what about free trade people think is going to hurt lower rares (except of course RANDOM MASS PANIC!!!!) Glad I stopped flipping Santas a few weeks ago. I never troll, and I just want to say that Im in the same boat as many who have stated they just bought rares. I bought a Santa too, 2 weeks ago, and now the fools of runescape are causing panic.

What would happen to doing quests like Spirit of Summer and Summer's End? I havent done Summer's End and i would appreciate not getting pked while im trying to complete a quest Jagex put in the friggin wildy. Also, does anyone think this will affect price of rares negatively? or shoot them through the roof? These are just personal questions I have about the subject, not anything probably related to the discussion atm.

I say both are needed, especially if the armour will have good soaking abilities without degrading over time. Also, the weapons would be good if they are similar to chaotic without degrading. My main theme here is give us better weapons and armour that dont friggin degrade.

May have been said already: I remember when you would smelt bars a circular icon appeared above your head to announce to all the world what ore you were smelting.

I honestly cant believe it took Jagex THIS long to allow Duke Horacio to outright give out more anti-dragon shields. Although youve been able to drop get one and pick up for ever anyway. : ) just a thought

Im sure tons of these have been posted already but I got the Dragon Defender. I thought only the Cyclossus could drop it but i was pleasantly surprised to find one under a pile of big bones from a regular Cyclops.

Im actually the opposite on this view at the moment. I did skilling for awhile, and though I dont enjoy summoning, nor have i even attempted Dung (all lamps and tears of Guthix), I enjoy slayer. Right now my goal is 99 defense through slayer so Im enjoying it very much.

My level in magic is 77, I figured it wouldnt take too long to get to 80 or maybe even a little higher. Any suggestions on spells? Cost? I have access to ancient and lunar spell books.
