Future Update Discussions
Sources? Then again they are still backing the transformers MMO. I would think that gaming universe would take up more resources than 8realms. I'd be interested in that as well, never heard that?

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
It's underweight, but not extremely underweight. Some people just have a tendency for that I guess.

Cryptic Clues
It is. This was a warm up for the real thing, pretty much. And one that has already convinced me there will be more half-baked puzzles with too few thought to them. Sigh...

Cryptic Clues
Isn't the first cape a soul wars cape and the second a blue cape? It's [item=9045] and [item=1]. Anything between the hyphens is added by tip.it for clarification and has nothing to do with the actual item name.

Cryptic Clues
Wow, this starts really disappointing again... [hide] Unless I miscalculated 10 Times, Jagex messed up on clue 3. (Fairy Tale Part III is 162, not 160 as it should be for the correct solution (unless the wiki is wrong?)) The missing item is a blue cape to be exact, not a soulwars cape... I also found the first riddle to be a bit meh.... [/hide]

Behind the Scenes - Jubilee and The Evolution of Combat
Fish flingers can be pretty fun, the problem with it is only how to get people to enter it. It would also desperately need a global setting, so you can have someone to compete with.

The Evolution of Combat: BETA discussion
Great, don't think I've been a member consecutively for one year...tend to take breaks for rl reasons -.- Btw, do you think they meant one year generally or will they only count the last year? So 12 months back from June 1?

Behind the Scenes - Jubilee and The Evolution of Combat
I hope this CCF will be more harder than the last two...and riddled with less errors... Edit: The first clues look interesting indeed.

The Game of Thrones TV series - Season 4
Except this isn't "book Tywin". You still have trouble differentiating the HBO characters from the books. Nah, that's not my issue, I'm not a book purist. I just mentioned that book Tywin would be willing even to torture her. But even if he was not willing to do that, any smart guy would at least tried a little harder to find out who she is.

The Game of Thrones TV series - Season 4
As I explained, they are worth something. One "smaller" family alone could rob Robb (no pun intended) of a few thousand soldiers. And while book Tywin probably wouldn't flinch from torturing a little girl either, if necessary, he could at least do more than just go along with it instead of accepting her fake stories....

The Game of Thrones TV series - Season 4
I'm not too bothered with the fact that he left her with Gregor, that does indeed make sense. I'm more annoyed with Tywin's behaviour up to that point.

The Game of Thrones TV series - Season 4
They wouldn't make a connection to what happened just minutes before his death? And yeah well, in the show Tywin just enjoys his conversations with Arya without thinking about it, but that's what bothers me. It's so absolutely unlike him, given that he should be a smart, ruthless, efficient tactician which he is so NOT in these scenes.

The Game of Thrones TV series - Season 4
I've grown to like Tywin. I kind of wanted him to take the Stark girl with him, kind of take her under his wing. I reserved judgement for that particular storyline. I have to say I enjoyed the discussions between Tywin and Arya, but...he obviously knows she's a highborn northern girl, yet makes no move to find out who she is. And even if he still thinks that Arya is in Kings landing, how many northern noble girls are exactly running around the south, to get captured by lannisters? It should at least make him think a bit... maybe I'm wrong but as far as he knows, Cersei has both Stark girls. Any other Northern highborn girl is worthless to him. Any nothern highborn girl could be of use to him because it would mean he can pressure that one family into not helping Robb, into betraying him or whatever. And as there's no real reason for another highborn girl running around, the least he could do is to make sure that both Stark girls indeed are still in king's landing. You also have to add that she's been reading notes with important war information, Amory Lorch died just minutes after he chased Arya...and yet Tywin still does nothing. Really not that smart...

Is Sony Vegas too complicated?
That should just be left and right for stereo. You can mute one half of that, but that would be pointless, as both music and commentary will be on both sides. That's no feasible way to get the music(or commentary) on its own, unfortunately. As said, you could get an audio editing program, play around with it a bit and try to make one of them a bit more quiet, but I doubt you're going to be able to seperate them completely. Can't you just mute the track that has the commentary on it? Or am I just overlooking something really simple and being stupid. If I understood him correctly, only one of the audio events in the project is the sound file from the youtube video, and that one event has both music and commentary in it.

Are we free?
Regarding a) I would say so, because if you say "why even bother, I'm determined anyway" is to let the thought of determinism determine you. It will make you apathetic. In any way, I think that for yourself, you have to act as if you have free choice regardless of determinism being true or not. If you don't do that, your life would most likely get pretty miserable. Regarding b) it's one of the reasons I am against a vengeance-based justice system. I believe in punishment to send a message and to uphold the law, not to punish the individual who did something wrong. I don't understand what you mean by a vengeance-based justice system? Isn't the job of the law to punish those who have done wrong in an attempt to prevent not only them doing it again, but to deter others from doing the same thing? I believe that if exceptions were to be made then it'd almost encourage people to commit a crime because there's the chance that they wouldn't be punished if they could justify how hard their lives are. I don't really think the origin of why someone chose to do something is important, unless it's something like, I punched my neighbor because he killed my cat, like the person is trying to introduce their own type of revenge based justice. But if someone was beaten by their parents and they decide to let lose on a primary school when they're 59 I don't really think their childhood should affect how they're sentenced. Sure it may be responsible but his parents are probably dead and the criminal should be used as an example to stop both him and others from beating little children to death. There are two concepts of why to punish a criminal: The first is as deterrent, both for the criminal himself and for the general public. If you get punished for certain actions, less people will do it. The other concept is vengeance, aka punishing the criminal for what he's done. You can usually see extreme cases of this when you go to the comment section of an article about someone molesting a child or murdering someone. Usually there will be loads of people who clamor for making the criminal's life as miserable as possible (Or to execute him right away). That's something I don't believe in.

Is Sony Vegas too complicated?
I'm not too sure what you're actually asking here, but if you don't want the commentary in the footage, you need to record from a different source, as the audio is from that particular YouTube video and can't be edited separately. What i mean is that i have downloaded some footage off youtube. In some cases there are two audio tracks, one is the commentary the other music. I want to separate them so i can delete one but not the other but i cant do that that atm as they are grouped. I got mixed up with my last post, i want to delete the music but no the commentary @Johannas, there are two audio tracks though, im not sure one might be the music and the other the audio? Oh okay, interesting, I didn't think you were able to get seperate tracks from youtube. Anyway, if I understand you correclty, you have two audio events on two tracks, right? First, just mute one of them to see if it's audio or commentary. It's been a while since I last worked with vegas, but as far as I remember, if you right click on the audio event, there should be one menu point for "grouping" or something along these lines. If you hover over that, there should be an option to ungroup those two events.

Is Sony Vegas too complicated?
Ohh, that's difficult. You only have one audio stream where the original two streams(music and commentary) are overlapped. Usually you won't be able to seperate them properly unless are somehow able to get access to the original file where you can seperate the original streams. You can try playing around with audio editing programs (or I guess with vegas too, though I am not too familiar with sound editing there) and try to separate them through using equalizer and other audio stuff(For example, I once did a synch of a series where I used the original episode soundtrack. The voices were mainly center, so I was able to suppress them by only playing the stereo parts which weren't center) but this is not going to work well(I didn't with mine as well) and will most likely make the music sound weird if you are even able of suppressing the commentary. Is there no way for you just to get the original audio track of the music?

Possible second bot nuke already?
Runetracker Ah so THAT is what people use runetracker for. I always have used the other one (runetrack). Thanks for answering the same question I had. :) On topic - it's nice to see some (a lot) bots were banned. I still hope for the bigger nukes, though since Optimus is released at this point, I don't know if they'll officially announce them. Optimus isn't yet released, or at least not the bot-nuking part of it, from how I understand what Jmods posted.

Runescape Behind the Scenes Queen Black Dragon Breakdown and Analysis Video
Well, depends on how Jagex came to that Number. If it was just "Our tester needed that to kill it" then yeah you're probably right.
