  1. I think whip+def+dds spec is going to be your best bet. Don't forget that the mole burrows underground quite often, so it's better to have faster weapons to hopefully get quick kills.
  2. If you have low hp, you're going to spend a large portion of time eating/safing to avoid being KO'd. Kinda defeats the purpose if you ask me.
  3. I'd also suggest bringing a spec weapon, whether it be D Claws or DDS.
  4. I'm just saying I would rather have Arcane and use a more useful prayer then Augury, it doesn't seem to be as useful as Leech Mage.
  5. Why not just get an Arcane Stream Necklace instead? Seems like the better solution all around.
  6. I like to use darts or knives and kill caged ogres, and then go collect the high level seed drops. Also make sure to have a magpie out at all times while doing this, there is a summoning obelisk right outside the gates. That should help bring in some money while getting relatively quick range experience.
  7. im not asking for money im asking someone to tell me why it is worth it to waste my money. basicly someone to convince me that i should stay on runescape If you don't enjoy runescape then why did you subscribe to become a member? If in fact you do enjoy playing then you should try the new skills and do some of the new quests that became available to you when you became a member. It seems kind of silly that we should be "convincing" you to be playing, especially when you just recently made the decision to pay. All in all, if you try out some of the new content then you should find that it is a completely new experience. You could always mine coal for a bit, and then switch over to fishing lobsters to help give you some start up cash. Then if you wanted you could use some more advanced money making methods. ^^
  8. General is for Runescape Discussions, this is the Help and Advice forum where you can ask questions. Anyway, it would help if we knew your levels so that we could give you advice that is tailor fit for your. I'm going to assume that you're on the lower level side so most of my money making ideas are going to be based off that. -picking/spinning flax -tanning leather -making soft clay -mining pure ess -making pie dough -killing chaos druids -catching swamp lizards those are the ones coming to mind, I'll edit in any others that I think of.
  9. Hard thing is, he'll spend most of the next 45 minutes just getting there... so I don't think that familiarization is going to be of much help in this scenario.
  10. Allows you to use prayer longer. Throw in piety + an altar near by = better xp/hr.
  11. SS for strength training Whip for attack and defense training Whip for controlled training which = best training method IMO
  12. Here is another alternative to Runecrafting  Smoke Runecrafting
  13. Either the highest level plate or spear you can get. Plate does require more bars, but the spear is easily the most versatile weapon; with monsters having distinct weakness to attack style, it only makes sense.
  14. Well you could easily do Ankous, they're not as profitable as they used to be now that rune prices have been dropping consistently, but they're still a very easy and very good monster to profit off of. The thing that I like about them is that they're good drops are mostly stackable: Blood Runes, Death Runes, Addy Arrows, and Pure Essence. They also drop level 3 clues which are a good diversion. You could also camp Cave Horror's, they drop Black Masks fairly often for it being a rare drop (I've had 3 in the last two trips, each trip lasting a few hours). They also have some good herb or seed drops.
  15. I believe that it goes off of the medium price.
  16. Is that 19.5M after you sell the planks back?
  17. They now work on big bones.
  18. Wow I must be extremely lucky... I've had 3 mask drops in 220. OT: Honestly Range or Melee them, however you want to do it, both ways are pretty quick. I would bring magic defense armor if your going to melee and just whip them. Also bring some B2P tabs so that you can stay down there for hours.
  19. I'd start looking into upgrading your armor to barrows. Whether it be a full set or separate pieces to maximize your Defense, or Prayer bonus. Personally I'd get full Guthan since your summoning is too low for a bunyip and you don't have access to Enhanced Excalibur. You can still use your rune armor during normal training, and then switch over to Guthan when you need some healing thus saving you from degrading quickly. You should also consider doing the Fremmy Isles quest to unlock the Neiz Helm. I will be the first one to admit how hideous it is, but it has a function, and it does that very well. Also a Rune Defender is going to be your best friend! It is the best shield slot item 90% of the time and it only takes a few hours to earn one. I'd head over to the Tip.it main website and read the Warriors Guild guide to get a pretty good understanding of what you're in store for. It's also time to get you some gloves, preferably the highest Recipe For Disaster Gloves. However, Dragon Gauntlets from FoG aren't a bad option as well, just anything is better then not having any. All of this should set you back 6M tops
  20. You could kill Abby Spectres, Cave Horrors, Ankous, Green Dragons, etc. The list goes on and on, but those would be the top choices, personally I really like Cave Horrors and Abby Spectres for my money making monsters.
  21. I agree that the amulet of power would be a better fit, but once your combat skills reach the level 60-70+ mark you're not going to need the extra attack or defense bonus, thus, making the amulet of strength better at later levels. OT: You could always kill Hill or Moss Giants. That would help you raise your pray level if that is something you are interested in doing, if not you could store the bones and make a decent profit off of them.

Flesh crawlers. thanks, but i have a question: I though flesh crawlers were not afk?? was i wrong?? I had heard they were semi-AFK EDIT: I will do bandits, but im gonna do a test run with nothing on me. wonder how long i will hold up??? Not long I'm afraid... to take full advantage of bandits Guthan's would be highly recommended. You could probably get away with doing Giant Spiders in the SoS.
  23. In which makes strength bonus more important.
  24. Knives or darts are going to be the fastest weapon to use, but those are pretty difficult to come by... I would say the tried and true Magic Short Bow with Iron or Steel arrows is still a very viable option! If you plan on doing dragons then Rune Crossbow is going to be a better bet, but you could easily do Fire Giants with regular arrows or knives.
  25. Its range. Leave pray mage on, if he stomps his feet switch to range. Switch back to mage as soon gas the animation lands on you. This. Lala has a very good prayer switching guide where he uses this method, I'm searching for it right now. #-o
