Posting from yesterday :) So much for solo zaros phase being stressful, that was just horrific :P Amb and tiez got KO'd as he moved into mage phase around 1/5 - 1/6 lp and I ended up all alone D: After what seemed like a lifetime of screaming for my life, running around like a loon and holding on he switched to melee phase at low lp so I crossed my fingers for no green death :P Amb just got back intime to see the drop :D Woo!

To be honest I didn't even notice the sky in that image. It's just a demonstration of the size of the area that is drawn, so even at ground level you should be able to see that far back There's anothe good one of the polypody dungeon where you can see all the way down, I'm really looking forward to this just because itl make the game feel like a much bigger world in general

Saggi short is now the best, since hex had its damage boost removed. I'd like to think the damage boost removal is a bug, but you never know with jagex =/

Does enyone have some info on the effects of those? I mean: Vamp - %of lifesteal ? Elements and Cruelty - some quantifying of the additional dmg? Elements is 6.6% additional damage, Cruelty has a chance to bleed for 20%*5 of your hit, thought to be 10% chance. (so thats 10% extra dps overall)

Draw distance is the distance you can see in the game client. This image shows it off pretty nicely, so with a much higher draw distance we can see wayyyy out into the distance instead of seeing a barrier of fog :P

Yeah its basically just an ahrims wand. Unless it has something extra, though we'd know that already if there was I assume. Interesting that the xp from the d&d is so high, that coupled with the wand should be easily enough to keep it popular

Normal wildy mechanics apply for the whole thing so you'd still lose gear, its just those items that you cash in for xp turn into cash on death, rather than being dropped.

Not sure about them stacking but using the 8k daily free tokkul from Karamja elite is probably the best way to recharge the ring. Assuming you aren't using it at a very high rate anyway, it's probably enough for slayer

I think it was one of the ideas they were throwing around, but rejected in the end. It's tier 80 and you still take triple damage outside of the tzhaar area

Chaotic staff or DW Virtus wand&book. Then full virtus or void, though I'd assume void is much more difficult to manage. Ovls are a given ofc, and mage prayers are bugged atm to give no boost iirc. If you don't have chaotic staff then use an ABS, but anything lower than that really starts to hurt your accuracy. Using anything lower than a SoL probably isn't worthwhile.

They do stack for a increase of ~43%, with a bit of rounding and such

Don't forget salamanders, t40/50/60/70 weapons and very cheap ammo :) Aviansies and mighty banshees are my suggestion, although I don't really know how accurate the lower tier weapons will be for it

Finally got everything I need for Barrows on my diyer :) Currently the setup is: Maul, rune plate/legs for Karil Handcannon, black hides for ahrim Blisterwood staff and batwing for the rest I feel like such a noob in tier 50 gear :D BUT it was a very good start to my barrowsing! :) [spoiler=Ahrims wand, Ahrims hood, Verac's brassard]

Obviously a new wand is needed but I don't think a chaotic wand is the solution. Mostly because it would devalue virtus significantly. A tier 75 wand would be good enough, and we might be getting that with the wildy warbands update "mid-high tier" was said. Magic and Ranged versions of many shields still need to exist, anti-dragon and mirror shield both spring to mind. Especially with lots of dragons being mage weak =/

For those of us that don't have 100 total etc, what are the options?

Starting to reach that point where levels seem AGESSS apart. Still, 48 prestige is a nice jump, 52k xp for my highest warp atm :) Need to go back to nex sometime but moneymaking just for the sake of it doesn't interest me too much. Offense/defence armour changes could help though. Also I had my first job interview last week :) They didn't really seem to ask much or know what they wanted to ask, and it went fine I guess. Still waiting on a reply though so I doubt I got it :P Still, getting an interview is progress :)

I'd say maul or chaotic staff, since you get 300k tokens worth of dps (MH+OH dual chaotics) for 200k. If you have enough cash for virtus wand then dont bother with the staff Maybe consider a mainhand chaotic instead if you have literally no money and no super antifires, since dragons can be a pain. But its probably a better path to get a maul, moneymake with that and buy super antis.
