I've never seen Hp as being a skills for focus on, just let it come while you train other things. Since you want to keep a 90, 90, 99 melee stat, what about trying some magic on monsters for a while? Work on raising two stats :)

well, without a cannon, your best bet for "fast" would be to wear prayer stuff and melee them using melee protect. You could also try useing a combat familiar with you if you kill them in a multi-combat area.

The branches start growing after you check it's health. Every 5 minutes, 1 branch will grow, up to 6 branches per tree. So every 30 minutes, cut the 6 branches off.

the DFS vs Defender depends on what you're fighting I think, there are some monsters where you really need that extra def, but for just simple basic training, defender is almost always better.

Ice Bursting Nechryaels in the Choas tunnels can be good. It's decent xp, and they have good drops which often bring you profit.

The running costs on Barrows is obviously higher Another way to look at it, is at a high level, you don't need that extra def, so the repair costs are just a hindrence since you're only paying for something you don't need. The only thing the Halaberd would be usefull for on a bosst is the spec. I'd much rather be using a Rune C'Bow on Kree then a d hally.

Am I the only person here that remembers a time when the D med was 1m, the d spear was 500k, and the d sqaure was 3m? When the ROW was made, increaseing the chances of said items was a good thing. Today though, we look at the prices of these items, and just assume the ring is, and always was a piece of useless junk. I keep seeing people here saying things like "Why did they even make it", they made it because the items it affected used to be worth A LOT, especially when you compare them to their prices now.

in all Honesty...using a Halaberd against Kree just seems suicidal to me. It's a slow, not particuarlly strong weapon, that also leaves you without a shield. Also, I don't see much reason to change a monster that has been around for a few years now

Blue d hides are also more valuable, so if you have good stats, the time difference is debatable.

Bandos comes with a str bonus Bandos doesn't degrade The simple fact that it doesn't degrade makes it cheaper then Barrow sets in the long run, and when you're high level str, and using boosts like Slayer Helm and pots, those few extra str bonus add up. Bandos also has good def stats, better then dragon, which would be the other alternative.

I hope you're talking to the person above me, because I didn't tell you to buy bandos.

D sq has better melee def Tz has better Range def, comes with a str bonus, and is A LOT cheaper.

I personally go full Bandos when melee slaying, and of your choices, 2 is the closest to that, so I say go with 2.

I think what people need to keep in mind here...is that drops like the D spear and shield half used to be worth millions. In the past, the ring of wealth really did increase the chances of making more money, but now, after 7 years+, these items have become very inexpensive. They're still a nice little bonus to a task though, I wouldn't say no to a 32k drop from a Hill Giant. T

If you have the slayer level, you could try Ice Bursting nechrayeals in the Chaos Tunnel They have pretty decent drops which can actually make you profit.

When ever I do non prayer meleeing slayer tasks, I wear Slayer helm Fury Bandos Chest Bandos Tassets Dragon Boots Barrows gloves Fire Cape Whip Rune Defender Warriors ring Usually have a bunyip with me. I can't really think of any tasks I need food for....
