Getting rid of Wolpertinger pouches
Another good way to use pouches, is to use them for what they're intended for, like the wopletinger doubles what you get from farming bushes, which could be a lot of money if you're doing white berry or poison ivy.

firecape with my stats?
when I do fight cave runs, i take... Inventory Alternate bolt (usually ruby(e)) 2 range pots enh. excalibur 6 rocktails holy wrench rest prayer restore. Worn Niet Helm Fury Sara D hide top Bandos Tassets Snakeskin boots Granite shield Rune C'Bow 1k broads accumulator Barrows Gloves Remember that the italy rock is your best friend Keep in mind that the level 90s will be dealing almost all of the damage to you, assuming you're doing everything else right Start using range pots at the 360s, and reboost the instant you go back to normal level. The healers at jad WILL respawn if they get Jad to full Health before you kill them.

fire cape help
when I do fight cave runs, i take... Inventory Alternate bolt (usually ruby(e)) 2 range pots enh. excalibur 6 rocktails holy wrench rest prayer restore. Worn Niet Helm Fury Sara D hide top Bandos Tassets Snakeskin boots Granite shield Rune C'Bow 1k broads accumulator Barrows Gloves trust me, at your levels, you're probably going to need more restores then 9. At my levels and setup, I use about 10. Remember that the italy rock is your best friend And keep in mind that the level 90s will be dealing the most damage assuming you're doing everything else right.

Unicorn Stallion
Ok, so today I'm going to be making summoning pouches for 88 Summoning, yay me. Now, I've been thinking about the unicorn familiar...and it's occured to me...I might not even use it very much. Almost all of the fighting I do is Slayer, and my Enchanced Exclabur and Bunyip are more than enough usually, and I almost never do any boss monsters, the closest I do is KBD when I have black dragon slayer tasks. Now, I'll still get the levels, I just want to know when using the unicorn would be more eficient then a bunyip.

Nechryael, any tips on maging them?
when I burst them I take Ahrim Hood Ahrim Robetop Ahrim Robeskirt Infinity boots Water staff (master is probably better, I'm just cheap :P) Soul Wars cape Saradomin Stole Unholy Book Seers ring I use throwing knives to lure them alltogether, and then start bursting away, with melee protect on. I usually use about 5 prayer pots on a task. And you sometimes will make money on them, just depends on your luck. I usually use around 500-600 casts for a task. With a master wand, you'd probably use less.

Waterfiends
It would really help if you could use a bunyip. But if you really want to kill them now, you'd want Niet Helm (assuming you're not on a slayer task) Fury Armadyl top > Karil Top > Black Hide top Armadyl skirt > Karil Skirt > Black hide legs D boots / Infinity boots (recommend infinity if you only have black hide) Fire Cape > Skill/Obsidian cape Sarasword / Zamorakian spear. Sarasword has +8 str on spear, spear has +5 crush on Sword, you decide which is worth using) Berserker > Seers ring Now, since you have no Bunyip, it's recommended you wear high mage def, and use protect from range against them. So you'll need some prayer potions, and a little food. If you have an Enchanced Excalbur/ SGS, take those for healing AS WELL AS food. If you've completed/started Fairy Tale part one, I HIGHLY reccomend repairing the fairy ring in the ancient cavern if you haven't already, it takes a spade and 6 bittercap mushrooms, and the coordanites are bjq. If you're really serious about it, you could invest in some Spinner pouches, as they're the only healing familiar you can use atm, they only heal 1 hp every 15 seconds, but that will add up fast.

Zammy spear
That makes me doubt that Abyssal whip with Rune defender is better. Well, whip and rune defender was even a lot faster than zammy spear. No competition. The defense of Irons is apparently not that high to warrant the stab attack over the better slash bonuses of whip and defender. In fact I was bitterly disappointed with the performance of the zammy spear. i worked my way to super antifires for the specific reason I could rip through metal dragons with a zammy spear. Then I go there and notice the spear isn't ripping at all. And then I compare it with whip and defender..and that does rip a lot better. See my original topic http://forum.tip.it/topic/252735-stab-myth-metal-dragons/page__view__findpost__p__4002545 Well that's odd, I saw a level 122 killing irons with a spear, and they were killing them about 3X faster then the level 137 next to them, who was using a whip and DFS. The spear holder hit almost constant 20+

Ring of Wealth + Aviansies
I'm not really questioning whether or not this is true, but how do you know this? I've never seen an official list of rare drops, and I seem to get daggers just about as frequently as limbs. If daggers are really their only "common rare" then what are the half keys? Oh sorry, i forgot about Runite limbs. Half keys? I have killed quite alot avansies and i have never gotten those. Anyhow my point: 1) Rune dagger - very cheap 2) Runite limbs - very cheap Half keys if dropped - is probably very rare which means ROW don't help with it so much as common rares. If they drop gems then they also drop half keys as well as dragon spears, it's a drop family. Shield Half also goes with gems and spear.

Spiritual Mages
when I kill mages, I take Slayer Helm Saradomin Stole Pros top Pros legs D boots Fury Soul Wars cape Unholy book Whip Warrior ring If it's your first time, take a rope. When I start out, I first go to the saradomin area (which needs a rope), and kill the mages there untill my prayer runs out, once I'm out of prayer, I head to the Zamorak area, this saves you from getting your prayer drained without any kills. In a normal task over about 200, I use 3-4 prayer pots.

chewed and mangled bones
I don't think Mith dragons even drop the mangled version..... anyways, if you need for the diary, just use the mangled bones from the barbarian, he's a little south west of the stairs which lead to the mith dragons.

Ring of Wealth + Aviansies
Most experiements at Aviansies have proven that Wealth decreases bar rates, as the bars are not considered a rare item. Don't know what to say about Paintball up there though.

barrows armour EDIT new question!
Torag : Cheapest overall set and has the highest Def. Great for monster training if you have things like Bunyips and Enh. Excalibur. You probably shouldn't buy the hammers, since the set effect isn't really usefull, and they aren't that good of weapon anyways. Guthans : Full set heals you, so it's great if you don't have HP restoreing items, or if the monster you're fighting is especial accurate. Dharok : Mainly used for Pking, it's high hitting ability isn't very usefull against normal monsters. Verac : Good for Pvp, and some boss monsters, like Sara Godwars and the Kalphite queen. It also comes with a prayer bonus, but most of the time, you'd be better off with initiate/prosalyt. Karil : Good for it's magic def, but if you're willing to spend it, armadyl beats karil in every stat, and never needs repaired, DO NOT buy the coif or cross bow, the bow is really only good for pvp, and the coif is just weak. (Note: Black d hide has better atk and melee def, ONLY use karil if you need the magic def) Ahrims : Basically the best magic armour out there. It has the best magic atk (not counting Pvp armours and 3rd age) and also comes with a nice def bonus.

Herblore Training
I also like farming it all myself, because I make a more variety of potions, ones that I actually use. I'll agree I could of gotten more levels if I were to farm one cash herb, sell it then spend on other potions. But the way I see it, it's more of a convenience factor for me. I don't have to worry about running out of super sets, or prayer potions, or anti-fires, since I make them with seeds/herbs from my slayer tasks. It also gives me a reason to farm other cash crops like limpwurts, papayas, and ivy bushes.....but that's a whole differnet subject :P

Is Adventure and Risk still a part of RS?
I agree on the death thing for the most part...the only exceptions where death is more than "a minor convenience" is if you die in places like the God Rooms. As for warning signs, there have been warning signs around in same way or another as long as I can remember. I never remember a time when I was able to walk north of varrock without having a "DANGER" sign pop up. As far as I'm able to remember...the only chance is the ability to turn these off now. Now...what I Don't like...is now, new players are basically told EXACTLY how to do EVERTHING. For those of you who's been playing for...lets say 4 years or more...when you first played the game, how long did it take for you to figure out how to Runecraft, or train crafting? It sure took me a while to figure out I needed to do a quest to runecraft. Today, with the new advisor system and objectives tab quest spoilers, new players are basically told exactly what to do. Personally, looking back to the old days, it was so much more fun starting out back then, you had to learn most of it on your own, if you died, you had to learn from it. Now, if you die as a new player, about 4 difference messages pop up if you're about to die...and then after you die telling you that the "risk of dieing" is no longer relevant. When I first started this game, it felt more like an adventure. With all these new systems in place...starting out now is just one huge tutorial.

88-99 Slayer; supplies
Well, if you're using Kuradal, then I would assume you plan to use her cave as much as possible. That right there is already half her tasks basically, the other half, you either can't use a cannon, or you make money anyways when you do. Now I will agree you will make a lot less then if you went without these, but overall, I'd be surprised if you lost money.
-
Herblore Training
I do look at the opportunity cost....the opportunity cost is having a nooby herblore level. I don't care if I would make more money just selling herbs...the way I see it...that money would eventually get spent on herbs anyways eventually, so instead of selling then now, and then just wasting time later buying them back, I just use them now, and make money.

If slayer costs you...then the slayer masters hate you.

How to profit with each skill in F2P?
Smithing: Use the ores you mine Crafting: Use any gems you get from monsters/mining, also at lower level combat, train on cows and use the hides. I think Sapphire necklaces profit right now. Prayer: Bury bones you get from monsters...other then that...yea...total loss Magic: Super heating is 'SOMETIMES' Profitable, at lower level magic, using burst spells on cows makes money if you keep and sell the beef/bones (don't sell hides, use them for crafting) Firemaking: Use the Logs you got from WC, fm is more xp then wc, so you'll have logs left over to sell. Something you might try for this too, is cut oaks for training, then calculate how much xp you'd get from the oaks, then find out how many willow logs you would need to get that same xp. Sell the oaks, and buy the ammout of willow logs you found. You'll make money since the oaks are WAY more than willow. Cooking: Cook the fish you catch. Making Pizza can sometimes profit. Melee: Either giants or Ankous, since they drop bones, this will ease any future prayer training you might do.

going for fire cape (again)
Well, considering you got to jad fine, that's good news. Now, for when the heals come....first, get them on you obviously, so they start healing jad slower....now, when they're on you, keep fighting jad until he's at about half hp again, the heals will start healing him again...at least, any heals currently in combat (you atking them or them atking you) now, start killing level 108s. They WILL NOT respawn again if you keep jad low hp while killing them, so alternate between killing them, and fighting jad. Another tactic you might try...is once you get all 4 on you, run straight under and through jad, if you're fast enough, and if jad doesn't move around too much, the 108s will get stuck behind him, and won't heal him since they aren't in combat.

88-99 Slayer; supplies
I really doubt anyone would be able to give you a real answer on this one...I'd say just buy stuff as you go. Buy a couple hundred of items, then when you run out, buying some more.

Herblore Training
I've always raised my herblore by farming the herb seeds I get from slayer and making potions from them. I make a lot of money off my herblore that way instead of loosing money.

going for fire cape (again)
Black hide > Karil for fight cave. The only monsters that use magic are ones you'll be praying against. D hide has better melee def. I JUST did the fight cave about 30 minutes ago. I took.. Niet helm D hide top Tassets D boots Accumulator Fury Rune C'Bow Barrows Gloves Granite shield Broad Bolts my inventory Ruby(e) bolts (for Jad) 2 range pots 7 rocktails 18 Prayer potions. Start using the range potions wen the 360's come Remember that the italy rock on the east side is your best friend. Keep in mind that the level 90s will be dealing the most damage to you, assuming you're doing everything else right. I left with 10 prayer potions left.
