Mage and Range
for range, just the basic black d hide, rune cbow with broad bolts is good. If you have a focus sight/full slayer helm, wear that while ranging on tasks. Focus sight Fury/Glory Black hide top Black Hide legs Snakeskin boots Accumulator Rune C'bow Unholy book/Anti-fire shield (try not to use a DFS while ranging, as it has a -range atk bonus) Ferocious ring when in Kuradal's Dungeon Broad bolts. You could also use Darts or Throwing knives, but I personally just stick to the C bow.

after about 5 or 6 slayer tasks down there, I've never seen one spawn. They make very rare apperances when people spend too much time down there.

Mage and Range
My range has come almost all from Slayer tasks, there's tons of ranging oporunities with slayer. Some monsters are easy to tank even in range gear, and there's a lot of safespots everywhere. As for mage, well I've never been a mage myself. I guess one suggestion would be to Kill dagannoth rex. It isn't fast by any means, but it's definetely good money.

how much on average do you get for 99 slayer?
Ummm....a lot... I've probably made around 150m so far off slayer right now. But I honestly don't really know.

Focus Sight drop rate and Desert Strykewyrm setup
Using a Unicorns isn't a "waste", but it's less efficient in the case of monster like Strykes, since they hit so low and inaccurately, a unicorn is overkill, it would be more efficient to use a 2.5k bunyip for your task, then a to use a 3k unicorn + 250gp scrolls for your task. And I know rune defender is more accuracy, but strykes have such a low defence, it didn't really seem to make much difference when I used it. I'm not over exagerating either about 25 kills. Either strykes hate me and don't wanna drop me water skins, or maybed your White armour fends of the heat better, idk, I wasn't exagerating. Wearing full Bandos, the desert heat hit way to often for my Bunyip+EE to keep up, wearing a desert bottom and boots, I was at full Hp nearly the whole time. The ONLY thing I lost accuracy on is the defender > DFS, the legs and boots make very little difference, as hitting 1 higher doesn't speed up the task that much. and this is your idea of sifting through flaws? " That's such an awful setup I don't even know where to begin." Try being "constructive" in a less assertive way.

Um What?
Just go to the duel arena and ask someone there to help with a clue. Put obsticals on, and you're set to go.

Focus Sight drop rate and Desert Strykewyrm setup
That's such an awful setup I don't even know where to begin. But I do have to begin somewhere so let's go.. Desert Boots - Are you serious.. Desert Skirt - See above DragonFire Shield - Should be using a defender. Hell you should be using a defender on almost every slayer task. The poor hits of the slayer monsters in general does not warrant the extra defence and a strength bonus which is nearly negligible. Knife - Waste of time seeing as how they drop waterskins and even then a bunyip would provide enough healing provided you don't suck Everything else seems fine.. or so it would seem. Only personal changes for me would be a Unicorn instead of a bunyip. The desert boots and skirt are to make it so I use water less, it's just more of a convenience factor, it's not like I'm loosing anything, unless you count loosing 1 dammage from my max hit loosing something. The DFS is to make up for the defence lost from the legs and boots, and strykes are so weak that the added accuracy from a defender really doesn't make all the much difference. I Do use defender on almost every other task. Knife is not a waste of time as relying on Waterskins drops all the time isn't a smart thing to do, I learned that my first trip. The stuff i wear is based off results from my first two tasks of them, I used to wear D boots and Tassets, didn't bother with a knife. Yea, I ended up leaveing every 25 kills because the desert heat kept htting me. I was at full hp the whole time wearing this stuff, and I only had to leave because my inventory got full. Don't bash down on me just because it's a different looking setup. Also, a Unicorn is a waste of money if a bunyip is able to keep up.

Focus Sight drop rate and Desert Strykewyrm setup
when I get Desert Strykes, I wear Slayer helm Fury Bandos Plate Desert Skirt Desert Boots Whip DragonFire shield Barrows Gloves I take Alch Runes Enh Excalibur Bunyip Slayer ring 1 WaterSkin Knife. These guys are weak, except for their 30 hit, which is easy to avoid. So even with desert skirt and boots, a bunyip more than keeps up. There's also a lot of cactus around that you can cut for water. Desert Strykes also drop waterkins fairly often, so you could always pick up those instead of running to cacti. As for the focus sight, in 3 tasks of about 130 each, I've gotten 2 My friend has gotten 3 in 2 tasks. I'd guess maybe around 1/75-1/100. No idea though, since I haven't killed many.

MTK and spirit seeds
MTK is definetely the easiest way to get Spirit seeds, but they're still very rare, so I wouldn't rely on them for Base xp. I have 11 seeds sitting in my bank after about I'd say...5 months maybe, of 7 workers on Maples. You could also try killing the Giant Mole and trading the drops for nests which might have a spirit seed. Overall though, don't expect to get a lot of them.

dust devils
keep in mind that you MUST have a face mask or slayer helm to fight these, I've actually seen people come with full void range and them wonder why they got owned in 10 seconds. If you fight the ones in the chaos tunnel, you'll need to tank them, there's no safe spots there. There's safe spots for the ones in the smokey well east of the Bandit Camp, but the Devils are much more spread out. Bones to Peaches would be good for healing. You could also try a void spinner pouch, but I don't think they're really worth their cost.

Living Rock Creatures
MIning them is what makes them so profitable for me, but no, you don't need to mine them. If it was a requirement, you wouldn't have gotten the task. Anyways, the cannon would speed the task up, just keep in mind it isn't multi way, and you'll be fighting the Strikers (140) a lot more often, since they don't have to move to hit you like the protectors (120).

Best Slayer Tasks To Block?
Black Demons, Very long and boring and have a pathetic drop table for their level Mithril dragons, Too much work Suqah, annoying to get to, high defence, bad drops...marrentills...yea... Skeletal Wyvern, too much work, far from a bank. I use Kuradal Man, some of the tasks people here block, it honestly suprises me. Especially aberant spectres...I would love to know what about them "costs" a lot.

Spirit Mages
When I do Spirit mages, I wear Slayer helm (for you, Niet helm since they aren't your task) Saradomin Stole Pros Top Pros Legs Dragon Boots Barrows Gloves Soul Wars cape Whip Unholy Book. Since you're using an SS, you can switch the Cape, Legs, Body or Stole for a Zamorak version. (cloaks, vestements, symbols) Take a super str/atk if you like to use them, and about 6 prayer pots. On a task of about 200, I usually use 3-4 pots. Now, if it's your first time, take 2 ropes, one to get into the dungeon, and one to get to the saradomin area. Once in, go south east and go into the saradomin area, and kill the mages there untill your prayer runs out. Once your prayer runs out DON'T POT BACK UP, leave the saradomin area, and go north and cross the ice bridge to the Zamorak area. Now repot your prayer points, and continue killing the Mages here.

Titans worth charm hunting for?
They're good for tanking and boss monsters. But I'd say just stay with slayer.

How make money ?
You could just do slayer tasks when you log on. Or do farming runs. your crops will grow even when you logged off, and only take a few minutes to go and replant them

Royal Items
Considering it has no stats and is a common drop from Kingly Imps, I would be suprised if continued to raise after a week or two.

Fire cape compromise. New post by Mod Chris L.
I think it's a real shame they had to go and make this compromise.... I also find it funny that people on the RSOF are blaming Pro-Cape players for being greedy. Either I missed something this last week, or that's exactly what people who wanted the requirement removed were as well. They just wanted in on the Cash drops, and now just point fingures at the Pro-Capers saying greed. [cabbage] hypocrites.....

crysta; key
Don't buy keys and use them. Only use keys you've gotten from drops. I personally have about 50 dragonstones, I get a lot of keys from slayer :P

Wyverns (slayer)
for shield, unless you like dieing, MUST be a mind/elemental shield, or a DragonFire Shield.

for ANY combat training, I would do Slayer. You'll raise more stats that way, and gain access to the most profitable monsters in the game. Also, look into doing quests like Lost City Regicide Monkey Madness Hero's Quest Legends quest That will give you access to all the dragon equipement. Also quests that will open up transportations to you The Grand Tree The Tree Gnome Village Fairy Tale part 2 Just working towards those quests will already get you into most of the new skills and other quests. All in all, just do everything you can, unlock as many areas as you can, and things will be A LOT easier. With the huge area that the member servers are, being able to teleport everywhere is very nice to have.
