  1. I think full void elite with handcannon and a godsword would suit you nicely. Use D Claws for specs. Use a unicorn for healing. Swap weapons and helms. It's really a shame that you don't have a chaotic for them, it would make all the difference. Overloads are nice, but since you don't brew too much they aren't as huge step over extremes as at other bosses. If you don't want to invest in getting void then just mix up range and melee gear to maximize your offensive power. Edit: Ninja'd Edit 2: That's quite a good point about bringing a defender for darklight, make sure to do that. Also if you are too lazy to swap boosting prayers then just piety all the time.
  2. Yes, but I wouldn't use them on fishing.
  3. Your method consisted of his method with a few other pots, so just saying your method will waste money isn't kind of contradictory. Your method INCLUDES his method, just adds 2 potions to make first. Nope, making every super potion will use a lot more money then making your most efficient potion, selling them, then buying ingredients for extremes. Also skipping out on spec rests and super antifires is wasteful because they are two of the cheapest potions. His method will cost a decent amount more, I cba to do the math but I think it's at least 10-20m more if he plans to go to 99 like that.
  4. If you make more then 3k, it gives you the luxury of eating them like candy whenever and wherever they will help you.
  5. The very best way to get 99 herblore is to just make your most efficient pots (use the Grimy sheets to determine this) until you can make spec rests and super antifires. Then make around 1k super antifires for slayer and 2k or so spec rests, then I would make 1k of each extreme with 2k of extreme attack and strength. This should put you around where you need to be to stew to overloads (91+ herblore), then you just make overloads as you need them. This will give you good supplies for slayer (extreme strength and attack) as well as for boss hunting (overloads) while wasting money as little as possible. Cleaning herbs is almost never worth it, mixing your own potions can be if you have the herblore scroll. Really make sure you get that as it should save you millions and millions on the road to 99 berlore. Use boosts in order to start making the untradeable potions asap. TL;DR, your method will waste money.
  6. Does anyone know a good spot where I can fm without getting random events?
  7. If you are calculating for the weekend then I would use 1700 to 1800 per hour as my figure.
  8. 2100 if you are adding 14 seconds to 14 unf potions, overloads are less and extreme ranging are more.
  9. Easier for you to pick one now =P Did you know...there's an F2P deposit box in Port Sarim, right next to the Entrana monks? Useful for banking willows, yews, iron ores, and prior to the Stiles update, high leveled F2P fish. And for anyone making a f2p pure or who is generally low leveled, banking bones while training on seagulls.
  10. The only boss that's related to farming is the Jade Vine, prolly also one of the only bosses you could do at your levels without being crashed.
  11. It is 100% not worth it, even for the bonus exp weekend. If you want to know exactly how much you will pay in terms of GP/exp check the grimy sheets.
  12. Moneymake as much as you can in the next two weeks and do all the quests that give herblore exp. Then train herblore. Even if you don't get to extremes, it will help a lot. But really even if you kill green dragons with three items you could have 25m or so to spend on herblore even if you don't play too much each day. After that just train combat however you want or whatever skill you hate most. Don't train dungoneering, the tokens aren't doubled and even if they were it would be a waste at your level.
  13. So, I have to ask this... What exactly is summoning defense good for?
  14. Switfkit also has a great database for how to get items back.
  15. GE flipping. Farming. Both while Barbarian fishing.
  16. Thanks for the great issue, can't wait for next week.
  17. I said that, and I'm right. You must be doing something wrong. The fastest exp is Jadinkos and salamanders, however at your level salamanders are faster.
  18. The only time the void bonus is better for slaying is while chinning nechs because the slayer helm bonus is higher but only applies to one target while the void bonus applies to all targets.
  19. That guide is good general information about the minigame, but what really makes or breaks you is your setup. With my limited experience I can suggest the freeze/salamander method. I can't recommend a specific guide for it though, sorry.
  20. If you can out DPS them, then there is no need to deal with them.
  21. Pretty much right after it was announced prices shot up.
  22. It's a reward from pest control/conquest. It gives 10% more magic damage over the regular Guthix staff. 150 tokens I think?
  23. Best way is actually red salamanders I think. As for fletching just make the best bow you can, it shouldn't be too expensive.
