  1. Haha, I would run ZMI.. if the price was right of course.
  2. >go on a trip for ten days >no internets >come home >check /r9k/ >404 >check /r9k/ again >404 again >no more /r9k/ mfw no more r9k :-X Sooo... my question is this, can anyone fill me in on what happened to /r9k/? Have the robots invaded any other boards? Where can I reunite with my brethren? Any information on what I missed while I was gone would be much appreciated.
  3. Yep, if you want to be fast and cheap do battlestaves. If you want to make monies spin flax or make gold amulets. I don't know what to tell you, you are probably best off just getting the SC needles and gutting it out.
  4. Well getting towards the kq is much easier than getting towards a gwd boss.. So at kq you'll focus less on long trips and more on fast trips.. Doesn't matter. Solo kills per trip are still the best way to show how hard a boss is. Solo kills per trip counts the amount of average damage you recieve. It doesn't take into account the ko-potentional, nor the efford taken to get to a certain boss.. Or the time? Yes, hence the difference between a bosses difficulty and how efficiently it can be killed. Here we have been talking about difficulty, not efficiency.
  5. It's less good if your on a budget, and even less good if you don't have an SoL. As for the door just use "burstinglobs" cc I think.
  6. Oh, I lied in that post. Your potential is not dependent on your wave, it is fixed for every wave regardless of your preformance. So you want to only do waves 1-6 and then reset.
  7. I think just doing the best course you can at each level is fastest. You will want to fill up your BA horn a little two, one round should be enough.
  8. Lol, I found it here on Tip.It. http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=magic_guide.htm#exp Copied and pasted from the above link, also the table it refers to is in the link; Each spell will earn you a certain number of experience points towards your magic skill when cast. These are in the table above. However, with damaging spells, there are two contributors to experience. There is a base amount of experience you will always receive when you cast the spell, even if you fail it and see a splash, and this is the value in the table above. But you also receive extra magic experience and Constitution experience depending on how much damage you inflict. For those spells that give experience over the base you will see a "+" beside the experience value. For these spells, there is also a maximum on how much damage you can inflict - and this number is on the last column of the above table. However, please note that after the completion of Family Crest quest, members can wear chaos gauntlets that increase the damage of bolt spells (those using chaos runes). For every damage point you hit your opponent, you receive .2 magic experience. You also receive .133 life points experience for every damage point you inflict. If you put your attack style to defensive, you get .1 point experience in magic and .1 point experience in defence for every damage point you inflict.
  9. First, you should get the agility levels just because. Second, you can also find earth warriors in the north-western part of the chaos tunnels. Harder to get to but doable. Edit: Ninja'd
  10. I think it updates every ten minutes, that means there are only 10 minutes max after each GE update that it is inacurate. And mage damage is partially base exp from casting the spell with exp from damage added on top of the base. I can't remember the exact values but I bet you could find them on rune wiki.
  11. Make super restores, sell them, and buy prayer pots. No need to use them in slayer and waste precious monies. Make 2k recover specs and 1k super antifies, then make extreme attack and strength. You will use all of these during slayer and yes, boost.
  12. Barbarian assult horn, I'll edit this post with more info about it, filling it, and why it's good to use. Edit: (thanks jetrider) You fill the horn by completing waves while set on exp mode (NOT points mode). Under best conditions, getting a good amount of points per wave, it will take 10-12 full rounds (waves 1 through 10) to fill the horn fully. Some teams reset at wave 9 instead of wave 10 because the queen wave takes significantly more time, even though it gives the most potential. To get max points per wave, your healer needs to heal at least 513 life points; to achieve this, many teams have their collector collect 11 wrong eggs (50 damage each) at the start of early waves so the healer has someone to heal. The horn stores potential, not straight experience. A full horn nets you around 1.3m agility experience and slightly less (~1.1m) for Mining. That's total experience, not bonus experience. Also, note that the horn works based on exp, unlike brawling gloves which are based on repetitions. Therefore you don't need to worry about equipping and unequipping the horn while training like you would if you were using brawlers. Using BA for agility is definitely worth it because it's more fun (for most people...) AND it boosts your exp rates. Also, here is a link to a BA guide.... http://forum.tip.it/topic/277959-wip-the-pro-barbarian-assault-guide/page__p__4552632__hl__barbarian+horn__fromsearch__1#entry4552632
  13. Lunars are your best bet then, or alching. Did you check out that alching calculator I linked earlier? If you must do combat you could try barrows, or using chaos spells and chaos gaunts on like chaos druids for profit.
  14. Its poor exp and poor money but aviansies are semi afk range. There is an AoW guide to them, best of luck.
  15. Hmm, well first off you want to use a BA horn. The majority of the leveling process will be spent at the wildy course. I think level 60+. Before that just use the best you can, iit doesn't matter so much because it's such a low level. Maybe the brimhaven course? I can't remember the world for it though.

  17. Yep, since they give a set boost they work wonders at lower levels, best of luck.
  18. Iron, drop mining. I also suggest shooting stars and SC pickaxes.
  19. Looking for people to suicide with me in conquest. I just need 100 more rank or so. Post or PM if interested. I can pay max trade ever 15 mins until we are done. I can lend whip/zs/fury for 24h as well. Am also offering any other services I can as compensation. Edit: forget it, got it myself.
  20. Keep in mind that eventually you will be making overloads. So while spec restores might seem like cheaper gp/exp, you want to make a balance to you will have supplies for overloads. Extreme mage and defense will all be converted into overloads, so don't make too many or keep them in proportion.
  21. Why would it be? An OP wants what is most likely to help them. Since many things vary the advice most likely to help them is the most efficient advice and the advice which applies to most people. They don't want to know about your anomaly, especially when you present it as a fact as you did here. It is misleading and unhelpful. So while personal opinion can be valuable, it is far more harmful when presented in a misleading way. I think this is what everybody here has a problem with. If you want to argue further with me we can do it in PM and not spam this place up.
  22. Sounds like you are that person, being sarcastic then correcting them? Why not just correct them unless you have a personal need to put them down. It's a bit rude if you ask me. Please be nice and friendly.
  23. Please keep your personal experience out of H&A, if it's personal then it really doesn't help answer questions. For everybody but you KQ is hard, for everybody but you barrows are good. Seems like you maybe you shouldn't be giving advice on this.
