  1. I have a tort and mediocre concentration skills. How many bones could I expect to do per hour on a gilded altar using tele to yanille and glory to edge/dray?
  2. I'm in a similar situation, having finished WGS a few hours ago. My stats are a bit lower though. I'd be interested in what you guys have to say. Also, if you'd like to try a duo trip, add me. Although admittedly, two newbies might not make for the best team.
  3. Keep using the salamander. It's the cheapest method that's still fast. Melee would be cheaper, but is slow even when maxed. Godspells would be faster, but are kinda expensive on runes.
  4. You seem to be ignoring the time and exp aspects, especially considering you could be spending your time making gp other ways and buying planks. Plank make is primarily useful for magic exp, and the planks produced only partly offset the costs that people are willing to pay for fast exp. Every 1-1.5k casts is another hour of your time spent, keep in mind.
  5. Plank make is anywhere between 80 and 110k per hour depending on if you're very focused and have the timing down. The costs fluctuate a lot with plank values.
  6. Tank ranging aviansies with bones to peaches would do nicely for you.
  7. I soloed rex with roughly your stats before summoning came out. It works just fine and makes good profit. You won't be nearly as good as high summoners, and you will get crashed with your mage level. The thing is, they only need to do 51%+ of the damage to Rex to get the drop. A high level mage with cog and charge would have no problem stealing your kills consistently. You'd do fine on a mid population world during off hours. If you get crashed, hopping doesn't hurt you too much. (There's a chance you run into a mage with prime on. Best to find a channel of dking people who can bless on call if needed.) Especially nice is if you can get a hybrid or two. It makes holding a world somewhat easier. It also makes it easier to hop if you need to.

The effect you get from either of them is significant but not that great. You may want to consider just always using a ring of life. Sure, your task might be 1-2% slower or something, but I've been saved by ring of life many times from lag or personal stupidity. Is this suboptimal? Yes. Is it a good idea? I think so. Berserker is 10 LP more of max hit. With whip, you'll already be hitting well into the 300s and maybe 400s. This is like less than a 5% speedup on the actual fighting part of the task, to say nothing of walking between and attacking new monsters for every kill. Warrior is 5 slash. Even without knowing concretely what it does, consider that the usual setup with whip + amulet + defender has more than 25x that much slash bonus. Is a 3-4% or whatever bonus to attack going to help your accuracy that much? The effects are measurable, but in reality you'd probably get more variation from just how fast you clicked that particular task or whatnot. What ring you get, if any, will probably depend on your budget. There are plenty of other things out there to buy, and many of them will give you a much more noticeable improvement.
  9. I remember back when I had a lot of jelly tasks and clues seemed around 1 in 100 or 150, usually at least one per task. This is a lot more often than, say, fire giants, which only seem to give them once every few tasks. So I'm only a tiny sample size, but I've definitely noticed some drop clues more than others. EDIT: I see the hallucinations have kicked in. D:

Thanks again guys. Just finished Elemental Workshop II. I need to do Temple At Sennitsten, but I'm a long way off in the thieving requirement.

Thanks guys! Just finished All Fired Up and A Tale Of Two Cats. Will probably do the Dorgeshuun ones when I get back. Anyone have other suggestions?

Hm... Well, an update... I still need about 32 qp now. I've done all the novices. I've done all the ones with rewards I want. (Excepting some of the most difficult that will have to wait.) I've done all the high valued ones. (Excepting some I can't meet requirements for any time soon.) What are some fast 2 qp quests? (To get the most qp value out of a quest.) I've tried to go by quest difficulty on various guides, but they disagree with each other, and I'm only interested in time difficulty rather than combat difficulty or anything. What are some fast 1 qp quests? (To pick up a few qp here or there.) Thanks! P.S. If someone wants to look at my adventurer's log under the quests I haven't started/completed, and give me advice, I'd really appreciate it! http://services.runescape.com/m=adventurers-log/display_player_profile.ws?searchName=i+zephyr&submit=
  13. Mage pots will speed kills, but also really shorten your trips. Try timing yourself.

I need about 45 more quest points for WGS. I've done all the high value quests already, and was looking for some easier 1 and 2 qp-ers. Thanks.

Zammy cape will free up your amulet spot for something better. Wear some magic defense, such as a dragonhide top. More superantis and pure sets. Beast of burden with similar stuff would help.
  16. Equipment-wise, there's not much that would give you a huge difference any more. A set of melee barrows would probably be the biggest change for you. (Bandos is okay too, if you're into that sorta thing. Overpriced and not nearly as good defensively, but less annoying.) It doesn't matter so much which ones, unless you want Guthan for healing (nowadays considered slow) or Verac's/Dharok's for their respective effects (not as commonly used by most slayers). I'm hesitant to recommend cannon now that masses of people have taken up cannoning green dragons. It used to be pretty reasonably priced range exp alone, but now it gets quite expensive quite fast. Karil's is good. It's significantly better versus magic than black dragonhide. You don't get all that much use out of it, though, and the prices are kinda off-putting.

Graar stays on the tank with melee but hits everyone with range. Also, looking at your stats, I recommend against trying team Bandos for quite some levels.
  18. How big of a difference in profit is 5 levels? 10? Did you include the price of ess in that?
  19. They're not entirely useless, but I can't justify owning more than one. His best bet may be to make some more money, buy something that's about to become rising, and sell it with them. (I wish I knew how to find such items.)
  20. I also recommend you pick lighter colors to better contrast the dark background of the default forum skin.
  21. I haven't done WGS. I need like another 50 QP. Is it worth it for me to do yet?
  22. I've still been going barrows, and it's been decent. Does make me wonder if I have any better options though.
  23. Surprising. I thought nats crashed and weren't much good any more. I will try this.
  24. How fast can you range a black dragon? How many blue dragons can you range in that time? More than likely, most of your time in any scenario is spent killing dragons, not banking them. Besides which, Enclave is usually uncrowded and fast with duel rings.
  25. I believe on average you'll afford a dfs by camping greens/blues in far shorter time than getting the drop by camping black drags.
