  1. He's going to have a hard time crafting natures if he's f2p then. Seriously, I know it seems like you make less money when you spend it on rings of dueling, but it saves SO much time. You'll make it up in a heartbeat as soon as you get to nats
  2. Use rings of duelling to craft fire runes = almost no walking.
  3. It may be just me, but I don't consider killing monsters and constantly checking and picking up their drops to be relaxing. I'd go with something like woodcutting or fishing. No, you may not be "rolling in it," but for barely paying attention it's easy exp and cash on the side
  4. Flyfish in the barbarian village, cook them in the helmet shop or longhall, then drop them.
  5. As someone who hates paying to borrow things, I would recommend at least buying Torag's hammers (100K) or Verac's flail (200k), until you save enough a zamorakian spear. I've also heard that ancient staff + rune defender can work, but I haven't personally tried it.
  6. I'm not familiar with this particular coordinate, but the only thing I can suggest is that sometimes I forget to bring my sextant and watch with me. Even if you use tip.it's locator and dig exactly where it says, you still need the sextant and watch
  7. Helm-Helm of Neitznot: 50K Necklace-Fury Cape-Looks to me like you have a cape of zamorak, someone else said it was an obby cape. If it is an obby cape, I'd go with the cape of zamorak. Chest- Verac's: 450K Legs-Verac's: 2000K Boots-Infinity: 1100K That's for a total of 2.6mil. If you wanted, you could grab verac's helm as well, although that's 4.1mil, which doesn't leave you with a lot of cash. Personally, I wouldn't even bring the c'bow stuff, which gives you three more inventory spaces (getting rid of the zammy book, bolts, and c'bow) that you can use for prayer pots. If you want you could also substitute the zammy cape (mage arena) for a zammy cloak (the TT reward). Up to you.
  8. I wouldn't even worry about poisoning her. From what I've read, if you range her from afar she'll just keep draining your prayer and cast very accurate mage spells. I would stand within melee distance and let her melee you. You'll be wearing full d'hides so hopefully you should be able to withstand the mage attacks while praying protect from melee
  9. Thanks for the great detail Quyneax. I tried it yesterday using karils c'bow and guthans (before I saw your post), made it to Jad with all 5 of my sara brews, 9 prayer pots, and 1.5 ranging pots. Turns out I need to work on my prayer switching. I think this time I'm going to skip the guthans and throw some rocktails in there instead like you said, plus bring a rune c'bow with diamond bolts to take down Jad faster before I mess up my prayers again. Will verac's skirt have enough of a defense boost that it warrants sacrificing all the range accuracy that could be gained from using chaps?
  10. I have Jad for a slayer task, and at my stats I wasn't sure whether I should just range the whole time using the slayer helmet or use guthans/range instead. Any advice would be appreciated. Stats in signature. EDIT: Also, is karils crossbow or rune cbow with broad bolts better? Cost is no object.
  11. I wouldn't bother with a shield. If you're just ranging, you're going to be safespotting anyway so I would use an unholy book for the range and prayer boost. Guthan's would also work at your level, since it will be hard to make it through on range alone. Use broad bolts, it has nothing to do with whether you're on slayer task or not. You don't need to fletch themselves; just buy them from ge. To be honest though, you really need to get a higher range level. You might make it to Jad, but I'd be very surprised if you beat him. I would recommend at least 80, preferably 85.
  12. I used the skeletons by Elvarg underneath Crandor Isle. They've got 590 hitpoints, excuse me, lifepoints, each, so I found them to be better than the other weaker ones.

KC is short for kill count. It represents the total number of monster killed (both barrows brothers and the creatures inside the tunnels). KC does not affect the chance of getting a barrows piece; it only increases the number of runes, bolt racks, etc. A KC of between 8 and 15 is usually recommended.
  14. It's not that I think there will be that many people dumping herbs on the market, although there will be a lot, I just think the bonus exp will work differently since so many people complained last time. I doubt it will be as effective to train herblore and thus there will be less demand.
  15. I would be surprised if it worked the same way as last time though. There was so much controversy over the last one that I bet there will be some sort of cap or at least measures taken against leveling the "buyable" or "hoardable" skills. When that's announced, I think the herb prices will drop, because so many people (i. e. you) have been holding onto their herbs in the hopes of another bonus exp weekend and a spike in prices. Then again, I'm almost always wrong about these things, but personally I would sell the herbs and go with the best xp/gp.
  16. I would go with a defender instead of a zammy book. The prayer bonus from the book won't help all that much, while the +5 str and +19 attack from the defender will be much more beneficial. Don't bother with a ring of wealth, just go with a warrior or berserker ring instead. I'd go with a zerker, but it's up to you. Last, don't forget a SW cape.
  17. Yeah, I would definitely wait until you have piety to do AZs, otherwise the exp difference is negligible compared to other methods. However, if you think you might ever want to train slayer, you've got the stats to start. In my experience, grinding AZs gets really boring.
  18. With your farming level you could also garden pie up and plant a spirit tree in brimhaven that you could use to tele.
  19. Alright, guess I'll have to deal with it. Thanks for your help.
  20. I've been using Kuradal as my slayer master for some time now, and as one of my first tasks she assigned me Aquanites without me having first paid 50 points to "persuade her to assign" them. I have since blocked them, but would rather free up that space so I can block something else, and not persuade her to assign them. Is this a bug, or any other thoughts? Thanks.
  21. It's about 13.5K xp each hour, allowing 5 seconds to bank. Each load of cannonballs takes almost exactly 3 minutes.
  22. Assuming you did pouches that netted you the maximum exp, the highest level you can get would be 83 (http://users.telenet.be/glodenox/Charms/CharmPattern.html). Personally, I would do barker toads (gold), fruit bats (green), praying mantis (crimson), and fire, ice, or moss titan (blue), which would get you 80.
  23. Target also has them
  24. According to this guide (http://forum.tip.it/topic/220656-a-guide-to-chinning-in-ape-atoll-up-to-325k-xph/) it costs around 2.2gp/xp. Therefore, since you have roughly 7.15mil xp to go, it will cost 14.3mil Assuming you get somewhere around 250K xp per hour, it will be around 29 hours.
  25. Runecrafting-For Ourania altar, it helps a great deal if you have a full bank (stuff it with junk and quest items) so that you can press the "bank inventory" button in the bottom of the banking screen and save a lot of clicks. I would recommend banking at the guy along the altar path; i always have an excess of fire runes and its much cheaper to use those to bank there rather than tele to Lunar then tele to Ourania. Agility-Werewolf agility course has a lvl 60 requirement Herblore-Morionic's charts are to help you choose the most cost efficient manner for you: http://forum.tip.it/topic/254457-grimys-reference-spreadsheets/ Firemaking-You need 1952 Yew logs or 2927 maple logs (900K vs.130K). If you make 770K or more an hour, it's more cost efficient to do yews. However, time and clicking is up to you. Farming- You cannot farm on Miscellania. i would definitely go with curry trees. The price difference is so negligible that you'll forget about it. Summoning-Definitely do pengs. Look on RSOF under distractions and diversions topic for a penguins locations thread. Other than that, Bork is also great stuff. Don't forget about Tears of Guthix for raising your lowest skill
