  1. What's godly about altering things? Using Turmoil to train. *Ahem* Altering, not altaring
  2. I was pleasantly surprised by Sees_all1's article. It clearly explained an inconsistency in Jagex's policies without just ranting and, better yet, addressed the solution. It was nice to see an article that commented on an article rather than just explaining it, and was one of the best Times articles I've seen in the past couple of months. Kudos to him/her.
  3. Shame there's like 1000 people in-game using Korasi's sword; like me. xD I believe that was sarcasm. Just pray melee protect while you're attacking the queen, and mage when you're running around killing defilers. Another option is to attack the defilers but not kill them, so they don't spawn again. Make sure you keep speccing at the appropriate times and you should be fine.
  4. Fletching: Broad arrows if you want fast exp (Although it will cost you about 11-12mil). I heard addy arrows are also possible, although you have to let the offers sit in ge for max for a while. Fishing: Barbarian heavy rod is the fastest; Shilo village is a lot less click intensive. (If you want magic xp as a bonus but at a cost, look up some guides on alching while barbarian fishing) Cooking: If you can't do wines, cook lobsters. Swordfish will burn too often for it to be better exp. Make sure you wear cooking gauntlets
  5. After the Legacy of Seergaze quest, you unlock an area with mutated bloodvelds (good for cannoning) and four or five regular bloodveld spawns in a different room. It's multicombat and no one is ever at the regular bloodveld spot, although you might occasionally see someone cannoning the mutated ones.

It boosts your defense by 25%, not ranged defense. Which, depending on how the range/mage defense calculations work, I can't remember, will give a 17.5% range defense bonus or a 7.5% range defense bonus. (I can't remember if Ranged defense is calculated with 70% range level and 30% defense or vise versa?) Er, MAGE is the combat skill that takes itself into account for defence against it. Pretty sure melee/range def just depends on your def level. I'm 110% positive that it's both range and mage.. It's only magic, not ranged, and to reiterate what others have already said, it boosts your defense level; there is no ranged defense (other than armor).
  7. Or just keep stewing at a bank like normal and if you get over 82, just make your way to the altar logging out every 55 seconds.
  8. Since you don't have extremes, turmoil, or a very high attack level, definitely go with Korasi's, particularly at steels. Even at irons with your stats I would stick with Korasi's
  9. Leather dragons have high mage defense, metals do not. Stick to metals.
  10. First and foremost, get your range to 70. I would highly recommend using black salamander method. For gear, go with neitiznot helm, verac's top and bottom, god cape, broad bolts, and everything else looks good. In your inventory, just bring a dhide top and bottom; a ranging helm isn't necessary.
  11. For future tasks, the only things really worth picking up are nats, pure ess, and d boots.
  12. I remember reading that turning unicorn pouches in the scrolls can make you 1.1mil and hour. Not sure if price fluctuations has changed this at all
  13. there are two major methods to fletching broad bolts with mousekeys. 1. the 456+ method pressing these keys in sequence moves the mouse to the left, left-clicks, moves to the right, left clicks, and can then be repeated. this essentially uses the left pile on the right pile over and over again 2. the 5+ method pressing the 5 and + keys at the same time in your inventory results in a double click. you are responsible for moving the mouse between the two piles. this method is generally harder than the 456+ method, but most believe it to be faster. i'm not terribly good at it but after like an hour of trying it i was able to fletch as many bolts as i could with the 456+ method, indicating that i could probably go faster than the 456+ method using the 5+ method. Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for.
  14. So it turns out like I was thinking of broad bolts rather than broad arrows, and so the question (albeit a different one) still stands. Anyone know?
  15. Oh, OK. I thought it was similar to where you just clicked on them back and forth. Guess I should have tested it out first.
  16. Could anyone tell me what the best way to use mousekeys to fletch broad arrows? I haven't been able to find a guide that mentions the exact method used. Thanks
  17. I read that somewhere, that's half the motivation for the question. This is true; arcane stream only affects one lobster. You're much better off using a fury or stole when bursting.
  18. I'd go with swamp titans until irons instead of granite lobsters. Greens should be used on unicorns (Don't forget to turn them into scrolls, too)
  19. Can't answer your main question, but in regards to your second one I would definitely go with yaks. Experiments are just so far apart.
  20. If you're using a ZGS, you won't need the arrows

  22. I remember soloing her with 85 melee stats and I didn't really have any problems. I was using verac's (not sure how this compares to slayer helm outfits) and using a tort. Just fill your inventory and tort full of sharks or cavefish, an anti, and supers or extremes. Make sure when you're fighting her that you're up against a wall so none of the Kalphite workers or guardians can attack you. Good luck
  23. Thanks, I've started superheating more slowly now and it seems to be working fine.
  24. I've been superheating + smelting at edgeville furnace, but my superheating always seems to interrupt my smelting. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
  25. I usually bring 2 waterskins and a unicorn. They drop 2 waterskins at a time every now and then, and the Uni should heal the rest, or just don't bother with waterskins and the Uni will heal that too. I actually bring EE too, but that's just because I don't pay attention and end up getting decked for 300 damage all the time by their underground attack. All your other gear is fine.
