Whether or not people look at this post with cynical eyes at least Jagex knows how strongly the players are against full blown RWT, i.e. selling gold, weapons & armour etc. As long as they strictly sell cosmetics I don't have a problem with all the SoF/SGS junk they put out.

Wanna bet? Seriously though, do you honestly believe that the game will be closed by 2014? From, let's say 500k members to closed in two years? I don't think people realise that the only thing they NEED membership money for is server costs. Only when the amount of players gets so incredibly low that they can't afford them will the game be anywhere near closing down.

A few people seem to be misreading the article. You can choose four of those items or even four of the same item. Considering how lame all the choices are except for the Instakill dart; most people I'd wager will choose them.

If we're talking literally non-stop minus bathroom breaks, then I'd probably say around 3 hours, 4 tops. Even when I was younger and playing the game religiously I still logged out every few hours to take a break. Hell, I didn't even know there was a 6 hour auto boot until about a year ago.

That may be true but anything is an improvement over the drawn on cartoon faces they have now.

It seems Jagex don't know what a Katana actually looks like. Unlike the Flaming Skull, this isn't anywhere near unique enough for me to consider getting it.

Social Slayer saves this month from being a bit lame. Interested to see what the 10 year cape is going to look like; think I've got about 6 months or so until I'm going to get it. Hope there's a timer for it to tell you how long you have to wait.

I'm sure certain bosses and places will get tweaked. Do weaknesses really make a big deal? It does. For example the 90's in fight cave: I'm maging the fight caves with Ice blitz... 95% of the time I miss @ the 90's.... Even the ability's miss. [/hide] I did a barrows run as well. Torva, steads, neitz, barrows gloves, whip and Ee offhand. Prayed melee deflect on Dh and soulsplit the rest. Was fairly quick (can't do 7th brother) and I only used 1 dose ovl, 1 dose prayer renewal, and 3 dose super prayer. so obvs you can power melee them just like old system. Peace, Vann Nobody said you couldn't. The point is, it takes longer and uses more supplies. In the normal game it's easily possible to kill all the surface brothers with full prayer without even using a single dose of prayer potion.

A Beta is an almost but not entirely finished version of something. I've played Beta's in the past that have had giant chunks of content missing. The Beta is going to be running for a while so its to be expected that some things take priority over others.
