Ah...after seeing that graph I'm not sure I made the right decision or not. I bought T8 Tank since I plan on keying a lot. But I'm not 99 attack. Since I just got a surgebox, which I bound over laws, I also destroyed my prom 2h in favor of a prom long. I knew it would a vastly inferior bind but I needed something 1h to go with my surgebox. I'm thinking maybe to just hold off keying until I am 99 atk. Prom 2h is easy enough to get back. But primal longsword is still a long way to go for me.

Probably my most epic day slaying - 7 effigies in 6 tasks 2 Black demon tasks - 4 effigies 2 dust devil tasks - 1 effigy steel dragon task - 1 effigy gargoyle task- 1 effigy

I doubt I will ever get this lucky on a slayer task ever again I've only had 2 double effigy tasks before that, at mutated velts and dark beasts. Not bad for 40 minutes :thumbsup:

You probably don't have near 8k gems, and since gold jewellery is really slow crafting xp I would just sell them.

Here's an idea I have for syncing: Designated prestige reset days This day will be as frequent as once a week to once every 3 weeks depending on how many larges we can do. So the limiting factor is the member with the lowest DG level. This would require, if the need arises, that members either c1 rush higher end floors that other members can't do or do 5:5 them with randoms.

Brad, 80+ DG will be the minimum requirment because we are doing c1's 1-29 at the very least. Please understand that's it's nothing personal against you. I have Google Calendars setup, timezone will be in GMT. Hopefully getting 5 people to have a free block of time won't be too much of a hassle. The syncing of prestige will be a problem since no doubt team members will have differing DG levels.

Right, so DGing with strangers isn't very fun, so I thought of forming a perm team. I don't know exactly what to do to get this to take off the ground, so I'm hoping that those of you in successful perm teams can chime in here: Recruitment/Requirements I'm thinking of a base requirement of 80 or 85 DG, rush only, with SSH bound. Should this be an absolute requirement or could I be more relaxed? I was also thinking of asking around in tip.it CC if anyone wanted to join since I don't have many other avenues; is this a good idea? Communication/Coordination What is the best way to synchronize prestige/floors across the entire team? Should I use something like Google Calendars to schedule in agreed upon times/dates or is there a better way? Should VoIP be necessary or is the in game chat enough for communication? Specialization What kind of weapon/ammo binds are optimal for a perm team? Should the role of keyer be given to one specific member, every floor, or should everyone equally key? These are all the questions I can think of at the moment. I'd appreciate help from any high level dungeoneers on perm teams. Oh, and if you're interesting in joining, feel free to shoot me a PM :)

Well you run into the risk of overpreparing if you do that; there are lots of floors that don't have 100+ skill doors, and the herb drops from monsters are usually more than enough to cover any that appear. Any decent nonkeyer should pick up wormwood/magebane/lyco/grip and ht to leave them at base during downtime. And not all bosses can be meleed, so making strong melee pots isn't essential at all.

It's a shame that when Sneaks grows up he's a bore :-|

What are the monsters exclusive to warped floors? I'm guessing monsters such as necromancers, red dragons, and black demons aren't there anymore and that the piling priority is still more or less the same with shades and mages at the top.

5:1 with leader as doorstand and the other 4 with laws bound should average 1 minute a floor, more or less. The average would be raised slightly higher on furnished floors due to Stomp though.

Does the surgebox work with Tank Class? If so, it would be better for keyers than novite kite/anti drag shield. Not sure if it explicitly counts as a shield.

Bleh, the grown seeker dialogue sucks...he just goes "..." when you feed him. My baby seeker actually went "Om nom nom nom" and sang to me...i want him back :-|

How about creating a separate cc just for tip.it DG? Unranked = non rush floors so no one is excluded. Banana ranks for those rushing with SSH. star ranks for 3 binds +

It will take more than reading a few guides to become good at DG, although it's a start. Reading about Yklagor's attacks certainly didn't prepare me for the first time i fought him :rolleyes: The Tip.it DG database sounds like an awesome idea.

I have no idea whether to stick with arcane spirit shield or use celestial surge box on slayer. Anyone know its stats? KB doesn't help.

Just bought seeker and scroll of cleaning. Will buy surge box later maybe. Scroll of cleaning saves vials of water too. Dialogue 1 with sneakerpeeper Seeker: "Sneaks and [player], sitting in a tree..." Player: "Can you stop singing that? It's kind of freaking me out." Seeker: "That's fine, [player]! Sneaks has bag under its eye, full of songs dedicated to you. 'If you're happy and you know it, snuggle your Sneaks'..." Player: "Do you take requests, perhaps? How about something that doesn't involve my name or yours?" Seeker: "Sneaks can do that. 'Millions of people go by, but they all disappear from view. I only have eyes for you.'" Player: "Don't make me visit a slayer master to get some earmuffs, Sneaks." there are 2 more dialogues if anyone is interested. Feeding him prompts "Om nom nom nom, more!"
