  1. That's true. Generally there is a positive correlation with DG level and ability but that is becoming less of the case as time goes on. You either blacklist people that DG like crap, or you maintain a whitelist (essentially people on your perm team.)
  2. So not even 3BO is immune from inept players, huh? I guess that just gives me more incentive to put DG on hiatus until I get a perm team.
  3. Non hood-safe monsters in preboss rooms and in certain puzzle rooms. if the puzzle must be completed in the room (RC tiles and colored ferrets, for example), then I think the non hood-safe monsters are worth clearing. If the puzzle can be done in an adjacent safe room (5 arm statue, magical construct, etc), then they are mostly not worth clearing.
  4. Heh, this is something I realized the hard way. I find W148 dging less enjoyable as time goes on, and I'm not just talking about the decrease in competency. But when you do a floor with complete strangers, there is this feeling of estrangedness - this distant vibe that makes the entire experience less than fun. For example, today I was kicked from an F46 when the boss was Yklagor simply because I was the "filler" teammate, I didn't have prior experience of Yklagor, and they didn't need me anymore at that point. When you're rushing with strangers, they hold you to extremely stringent standards and will kick on the smallest of whims because they have no relation to you. This pretty much sucks the fun out of dging. And that's where perm teams come in. It's so much more enjoyable to dg with people of your maturity level - people you know and can make small talk with during a floor - even in lieu of efficiency/speed. But the exclusionary nature of these teams present a problem - not to those in perm teams but the rest of players who are forced to stick it out with randoms. How can a starting player ever learn the ropes of DG in such a hostile environment? The two populations rarely mingle and when they do, tensions flare as a result of lack of intimacy and higher expectations being held to strangers. I'm tired of being treated like leftovers, so to that end I'm trying to either join a decent perm team or start one myself, although I do not have the knowledge/experience to start one. Can anyone offer tips on that regard? Or better yet, if anyone has a few slots open for a perm team that is mature and friendly (preferably U.S. Timezone based), I'd appreciate if you'd let me know.
  5. Oh, I thought he shooped out his xp out of embarrassment or something
  6. More people mining in non PVP world + better runite spawns in resource dung, heroes guild, keldagrim = unused wildy rocks.
  7. All normal prayers and no curses in warped floors? Nooby devs :P two of the bosses look like recycled rammernaut/fleshspoiler though. Some new rewards I'm hoping for -Chaotic rings, so I don't have to play MA for damn imbued rings -Scrolls of binding - one for armor/weapons, one for ammo -Wave/surge box would be amazing and I would replace my Arcane with that. -herb bag? farmicide for seeds? haha ok maybe not.
  8. F2P magers should at least get arcstream, if not wave spells. There's not much F2P dgers have to spend tokens on as it is.
  9. 51.7k/hr for me. I think that figure is too robust for it to fluctuate regardless of what I do at this point.
  10. They work but the damage is capped at 750 instead of 2000.
  11. Expect xpx to comment on this and tell you your wrong about the kill/h with your 71 Dung, Just a warning. Ranging frosties is "smarter" in the sense that Drumgun has 200m melees and 42m ranged.
  12. Turmoil is way more useful than Soul Split for slayer (especially at 99 summoning)
  13. Low alching the gold bars would be better than high alch as it's half the ticks and you will mine faster than you can superheat/high alch.
  14. In F2P, the only way RC is a viable moneymaker is indirectly through GOP, buying water tallies Hell, for P2P, even double nats barely break 600k/hr these days.
  15. 110k/hr is attainable with kyatt clothing/arctic bear, from my own personal experience catching them. I think agility level affects catching rates as well, not 100% positive. The nice thing about failing to catch butterflies, unlike other training methods, is you don't have to reclick every time you do.
  16. I'm getting a little over 90k exp/hour with mousekeys and bonecrusher at 87 hunter, which seems pretty damn good to me. What would you recommend instead? Barehanding Sapphire glacialis is 110k/hr, along with agility xp on the side. Falconry+BC is only the fastest hunter training from 69-80.
  17. If you can afford it, I'd say get extremes/turm first as an intermediate step (stewing from 83 or 84 herb), then PVM until you can get Ovls. If not, then I'd say extremes should be first to get. The margin from supers to extremes is about the same as piety to turmoil, while extremes are cheaper.
  18. Seeing as you are 99 prayer, 93 herblore, and over 80 hunting, neither of them will benefit you much.
  19. Sallys/Pengs to 69, then a combination of dashing/dark kebbit to 80, then barehanding ruby harvest from there.
  20. Ranarr is the most profitable right now, should be a 80-100% profit (6.5 herbs to 1 seed) from current GE prices.
  21. I always do them because I'm always on Lunars and it's a 15 minute task. But since you don't have the Lunar Spellbook yet I would say skip them.
  22. The ring of wealth only increases the odds of getting an item on the Rare Drop Table, and none of these items are particularly valuable to consider swapping a zerker/fero ring with.
  23. RoW should never be used in any situation.
  24. There used to be only one graphical type of black demon that dropped crims but that has since been fixed. It's now much better to cannon them in Taverly Dungeon.
